Chicken Shops near Citrus Heights, CA

“I'm always scared to try new places. The reviews were good so I decided to give them a try. Worth the 5 stars. W all had different plates and my kids said theirs were really good. They give a lot of food. I'll definitely have this on my list of to go places.“

“Raising canes is a family restaurant that serves the best to its community. I’m a proud crew member and my son and I eat here all the time. I promise every time you come in to see me I’ll do what I can to make your day better and you will leave with a smile on your face. These quality chicken fingers fried fresh are just that good.“

“Don’t eat the tamales very dry!!“

“I've stopped here several times, and the staff have always been friendly, respectful, and welcoming. One thing I especially appreciate is that they've let me use the restroom when I needed to, even if I wasn't making a purchase. They were never weird, rude, or judgmental about it—they just treated me with kindness and understanding. It's such a simple thing, but it can make a big difference when you're out and about. The restaurant is clean, the employees are courteous, and the atmosphere is always pleasant. Thank you for consistently showing compassion and great customer service! I hate the smell tho and the food no offense lol.“

“The person who took our order was very nice and friendly. I ordered 2 tenders, medium heat, and it comes with fries, pickles and Dave's sauce. The chicken was juicy and spicy and delicious 😋 the tenders were large pieces. So I shared the meal.“

“This place is really good! The fries are amazing. The burger is also really good. Would definitely recommend coming here for lunch or just to grab a bite. I personally like cheese, and the cheese they have makes me keep wanting to come back. The staff here are really nice and helpful! Plenty of room to sit.
Definitely coming back!“

“My favorite chicken spot hands down. Gannon is an awesome employee who is very friendly and always does little extra things to help customers out which I greatly appreciate. The food tastes great and is one of the few chicken places that does not upset my stomach.“

“Great experience at Cosmic Roosters! Dima helped us at the register and was extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Great customer service from the moment we walked in. The food was great and the whole experience was even better because of the service. Definitely recommend checking them out!“

“This place is so could I could cry 🤣 My husband and I tried it on a whim and it is my new favorite place. I have not tried a single thing that is not full of flavor, fresh, and delicious. TRY IT!! You will NOT be disappointed!“

“Living in Carmichael for about year and a half, after living in Chicago (.a place that knows a little bit about chicken wings), this is my go to place for chicken wings. Not whole like Chicago.“

“Great customer service! Thank you so much for your help with dine-n-donate!“

“great food. great service, awesome environment.“

“I had an excellent experience at Vons Chicken Rancho Cordova. The chicken wings were absolutely delicious—perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The customer service was exceptional, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit. I was also pleasantly surprised by their radish, which was remarkably fresh and complemented the meal beautifully. Highly recommended!“

“We will now go out of our way to go to this specific Kiki's! The chicken is always phenomenal and fresh, for dine in it's super chill, and for the most part the staff is really nice although sometimes they can seem snippy/short which is odd when you're the only person in line. We can chalk it up to maybe being a bad day.“

“ONLY one time not so great friendly service rest of the time great.“

“I had a great experience with KFC's customer service. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and handled my order quickly and accurately. They were patient, answered my questions with a smile, and made sure everything was correct before I left. The restaurant was clean, and the overall service made my visit enjoyable. Excellent customer service—I look forward to coming back!“

“We absolutely love chick-fil-A! This location are always on point. They never get our order wrong. Food is just delicious. I like the way they work the drive-thru. They get you in and out of there real quick . I like that they make sure your name matches the order before handing it to you. Great service all round“

“We visited the Folsom location and went in to order, they were exceptional in customer service going above our expectations! Not only the cashier taking our order but the cooks ect. With the food being very good and the customer service we will DEFINITELY be coming back.“

“Nice atmosphere/decor along with outside dining and great customer service“

“Gotta try this place. The pork buns were an unexpected delight 💕“

“great food. Great service“

“This chicken is the best tasting fast food chicken out there. Juicy breast meat and the wings have ample meat attached. Seasoning is perfect with a hint of spice.“

“Shout out to Elijah!!! We so appreciated his help tonight. Thank you!! Tonight my family and I used the app to pick up food in the drive thru. We had an email allowing us a free chicken sandwich when you use the app. We don't eat out often so this was a treat for us. My husband had already used the app, so this was his second time in the app to get the free sandwich with our order. When we picked up our food, two of the young workers couldn't help us with this promotion, so we spoke with the manager. She also said sorry we can't help you! We were at the window and received our order, but had to order another item as the chicken sandwich was going to be my husband dinner and we wouldn't receive it. While we were trying to get this order going another young man came up to the window to help us! He heard about the situation and honored the free Chicken sandwich promotion. Everyone was kind regardless of the situation. We love this location and because of Elijah, we left happy customers.“

“I went around 6pm and got a leg and thigh and biscuit. The biscuit was hot, soft, buttery, flaky, sugary, fluffy diabesity (diabetes and obesity in one!) deliciousness and the chicken was hot, juicy, salty, tender, crunchy, krispy diabesity so definitely worth the $6 I paid! I look forward to eating again! It is in a gas station so takeout only but this is some seriously good chicken!“

“I recently want the raising Cane’s for about my fourth time and let me say it did not disappoint at all. Not only do they take your order right away. They bring it out in about less than five minutes despite how fresh, crispy, savory, and good the food is it cannot match the greatness of the ports at this location as they are always there to help and are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. I highly recommend looking for a quick bite to eat.“

“The customer service is awesome at least during the day on weekdays. I only been there between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm“

“Great place, quick and filling“

“We moved back to Sacramento and saw a El Pollo Loco restaurant and had to go there. There were none in the state where we were. Really enjoyed the chicken dinner and my wife had the Taco Salad she said it was great, just like she remembered.“

“Absolutely outstanding experience with Vermantu and her entire crew. From the moment I walked in, everything ran like a well-oiled machine—quick, efficient, and handled with real professionalism. Vermantu clearly leads by example and should 100% be the manager if she isn’t already. The team works seamlessly together, delivering fast service without cutting corners. You can tell there’s pride behind what they do. Easily a five-star experience, and I’ll be coming back because of it. Thank you all!“
