But in the end accomplished the “been there done that.”

“I went with my nephews and sister in-laws. The place was clean, the cashier was friendly and super helpful and knowledable about the spice levels. I was scared and went with one medium and one mild. The medium wasn't bad at the all. I may try a medium and hot next time. I believe my nephews got super hot and the cashier told us that was around ghost pepper spice 😬 their mouths were burning 🥵 I wont go too spicy because then you cant enjoy your food and taste it. The little sliders are filling and comes with fries and sauce. It's delicious. And dont forget to order a drink! They do NOT come with the meals you order.... and their ice is AMAZING, small little crunchy ice.“

“I ordered online and it was really quick and easy. When I arrived, 2 minutes after my selected pick up time, they had just bagged it up, so it was hot and fresh. Unfortunately, I was traveling home (my son requested I pick-up Dave's Hot Chicken for him on my way home) about 1 hour and 45 minutes from this location (as there are no other locations before my home city) surprisingly, after I wrapped the boxes with foil it was still warm and tasted fresh.“

“Von’s Chicken in Rancho Cordova is such a great find! The chicken is always hot, crispy, and full of flavor — you can really taste the quality and freshness. The Soy Garlic and Original Crispy are my go-tos, but the Hot & Spicy hits the spot when you want a little extra kick. Don’t skip the baked chicken as it’s perfect if you want something lighter but still packing tons of flavor.

The sides and starters are just as good — especially the cheeseballs and sodduck sodduck. Portions are generous, and even the takeout stays crunchy and delicious.

The staff here are super friendly and attentive — they take the time to explain the different sauces and flavors, and it’s clear they care about their customers having a great experience.

Overall, Von’s Chicken is consistently excellent — fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine hospitality. Definitely one of my favorite go-to spots in Rancho Cordova!“

We had an email allowing us a free chicken sandwich when you use the app. We don't eat out often so this was a treat for us. When we picked up our food, two of the young workers couldn't help us with this promotion, so we spoke with the manager. She also said sorry we can't help you! We were at the window and received our order, but had to order another item as the chicken sandwich was going to be my husband dinner and we wouldn't receive it. While we were trying to get this order going another young man came up to the window to help us! He heard about the situation and honored the free Chicken sandwich promotion. The chicken pieces are still the size of Cornish game hens (nothing new there 🙄) and was very disappointed with the potato poppers and apple pie poppers. My experience with the Customer Service, cleanliness, and food was divine. It was pure perfection.

What ruined it was this homeless bum that came around harassing me and one of the workers outside. I am very non tolerant of homeless, crazy and dangerous bums, I was attacked before and hit in the head and given a concussion.

What I do appreciate though, is how the Security guard was on top of it. Keep up the awesome job guys!😊“
