“First timer and food was well priced and prepared well. The young white cashier had super high energy and yet the young black female server was a Debbie downer ? I guess she was not having a good day. She stood next to the cook waiting for food to deliver to tables and had the biggest attitude. It was horrible to watch. But I ordered two sandwiches. One roast beef and one tri-tip. Both excellent. The side of BBQ and horseradish sauce were excellent. They have a great selection of free chips that come with the sandwiches. I will try a shake next time. Oh by the way, the smell is memorizing when you walk in. Smells truly like a town deli. Good job, but maybe coach that young lady in restaurant etiquette ?“

“I've had Roundhouse ever since they had the Elk Grove location. And I'm happy to say that the Alhambra location is just the same.

Their service is great, as usual. I've never had a complaint; the one time a mistake was made (someone else took my order by accident), they were quick to help me out and remake my order.

Food is phenomenal. Others who have had it before will say the same.“

“This was a surprising Diamond in the middle of a residential neighborhood. It looks like it was a small cornerstore at one time and has been family owned for decades. I really love the food and the hospitality was human to human style laid back down to earth treatment. The cost is a touch higher than you would expect but it delivered on quality. “I must have walked a mile to get to Pennisi's Deli...but I'll tell you, it was worth it!
My old pal Grouper Causeway from my stompin around days was going up to Alaska to pan some gold and do a little fishing, he's got a cabin up there and there's a big population of bears where he is. He tells me he's got a S&W 50 on a hip slinger and a slug pumper for just on case, but needs a new igniter for his surplus Flamethrower, so I'll just take him one because I've got some extras. He was sure happy to get one, and tells me nothing scoots a bear faster than a little napalm on it's hind end. Let's go to Pennisi's Deli he tells me...they've got the best sandos in Sactown.

“I know technically Beach Hut deli isn't a FIVE STAR RESTAURANT but I noticed that the food, employees, clean restrooms and beer /noon alcoholic drink selection and atmosphere all provided a very enjoyable experience, I had no complaints. “Their sourdough is truly delicious—and since it’s been too hot to make my own this summer, WC sourdough is a welcome alternative purveyor. I’ve only tried and fallen for these sandwiches: chicken salad & turkey cranberry. But my parents raved about their salads and after taking bites, I gotta say their Greek and South west salads are so yummy! All of their ingredients are super fresh and everything is prepared to order and we can taste the difference.
