“Such a nice Italian spot in Grass Valley! It was our first time eating here & we did a take out order. The restaurant itself is older but is really cute and you can tell they have put a lot of effort into authentic Italian art & decorations. It's sad that there wasn't anyone in there dining. I'm not sure if it was due to the weather but this place deserves more in person diners. Next time we will be dining in! The service was fast & they were all super nice. The food was amazing! Everything tastes very fresh and the quality is top tier. We could not stop being in awe on how delicious it all was. I would recommend giving them a try as your tastebuds will be really happy.“
“They make vegetarian fun. On the recommendation of a buddy, I finally stopped by to try this deli out. Lunch hour weekdays is a busy time here. Great to sit outside in the sun. I ordered the BBQ tempeh cheesesteak sandwich with potato salad. Delicious!! Loved the tasty but small serving of potato salad. Next time I will try the fries. This may become my go to place for lunch!!“
“Amazing Sandwiches full of flavor! Beach Hut Deli is the best place for sandwiches in town for sure! Great customer service with positive upbeat and friendly staff as well. Highly recommend heading here for lunch if you haven’t already! My secret menu sandwich: Muscle Beach, a loaded with protein and veggies #10.“
“Great variety of sandwiches for a local deli. The pastrami rueben was to die for. Lean and flavorful pastrami and not so huge that I had to take half home! There's also an option for half a sandwich and cup of soup or salad. Inside and outside seating available.“
“Rainy morning in Nevada City. We were greeted promptly upon arrival. We stayed nearby and I was looking for a strong cup of coffee and a bite to eat before getting back on the road. We stumbled upon Cosmic Roots. I was bummed because the local spots across the street from where we stayed were closed on the weekends. I looked at my breakfast sandwiches and hot sandwich options since they were a deli. I was going back and forth between the Early Riser and The Boss lady. I'm so glad I ordered this sandwich, it was so good. Pastrami to me is usually salty, but not this one. The pickles and sauce they offered balance everything perfectly with my toasted sourdough bread. I ordered a medium SF oatmilk latte, a bag of chips and muffins for my kiddos. They aren't much for breakfast, but will eat a pastry. This quaint deli offered an old coffee shop/poetry club vibe. A lounging area was provided and beer served along with other household options for purchase. I'll definitely stop in again if I'm nearby or passingby.“
“I got the BBQ Beef sandwich. It's made with thinly sliced tri tip. The sauce is tangy and slightly sweet. They did not skimp on the onion. The bread was slightly dry but the sauce certainly helped with that.I will certainly return to try other menu items.“
