The nutburger was very crispy, almost like a fried chicken batter consistency. It's a nice change from moister, chunkier nut burgers, so set expectations right.
There are many sandwich options with tofu, tempeh, and commercial veg burger patties, plus Veganaise, vegan "honey mustard", and even Violife cheese! Vegan options are labeled AND anything vegetarian can be made vegan.
Homemade cookies are vegan (chocolate chip OR peanut butter oatmeal).

I met a friend today for lunch at the Afternoon Deli up in Grass Valley and I was very impressed with the quality of the food and service. The person at the counter was very friendly, the food was served quickly and hot, and my cheesesteak sandwich was very tasty! The price is very reasonable. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other items on their menu!
