The Afternoon Deli has the best food! My favorite is the Mezes & Pitas with a side of Falafel. Eating “a little of this and a little of that” is my favorite. Today I tried something new - a tuna melt with fries! The sandwich was too big to eat in one sitting, so I packaged up the other half and half the fries for tomorrow. So yummy!
If I could I would give this place 3.5 stars. I am giving 4 though because 1. They have a number of vegan options including specials on the board and vegan cheese - so come into the shop don't order online because they can clarify with you what is vegan and what is not. 2. The staff was kind and made it very clear what was vegan and what wasn't 3. They make vegetarian fun. On the recommendation of a buddy, I finally stopped by to try this deli out. Lunch hour weekdays is a busy time here. Great to sit outside in the sun. I ordered the BBQ tempeh cheesesteak sandwich with potato salad. Delicious!! Loved the tasty but small serving of potato salad. Next time I will try the fries. This may become my go to place for lunch!!
