“Really cool little asian style cafe. Very small only bar and 3 small tables, as well as a couple outdoors. Was pretty busy at 1, so def come prepared for a little wait. The food is made to order so it takes a minute but the quality is worth it. The pork lettuce wraps are as authentic Korean (without the crazy spice tho lol) as it gets with the condiments. The Pork Lemongrass bowl is a great Vermicielli style bowl with excellent flavor. Portions are not large but not small, so not too filling that you can finish your meal. Hard to find a good Korean option here in Sac. Will be back!“

“My husband and I often have Pho after our Dr appointments at UCD. We had an amazing lunch two weeks ago and were so impressed, we had to go back! I had the Seafood Pho and husband had rare steak Pho. Wow! The broths were very different and very tasty. The service is awesome and the staff great. They are friendly and attentive. The restaurant is clean and inviting. It’s very well lit . The prices are reasonable and portions grand. This is their 35 th anniversary. You will not be disappointed.“

“10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.“

“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

“Top tier customer service. you can tell the owner really cares about the experience and wants his restaurant to succeed. He spilled a very minute amount of soup on his serving tray and not even on my table and he gave me an extra broth on the side.

Budget friendly pricing. I paid less than 20 to get a pho bowl with beef flank, beef balls and BEEF RIB. I couldn’t finish and had to get togo and I am 155lbs. (bowl looks small, contents are not 😭)

Food is also very delicious and not too oily. tastes fresh and I don’t feel like knocking out from food coma after a big meal.“

“Pho City is hands down the best Vietnamese Pho sopt in the greater Sacramento area. It's not just a cool restaurant to dine in, it's great if you want to take away your food as well. The beef pho is the best dish in my opinion, but the chicken soup/pho is just as good. The egg rolls are exceptional. This place came highly recommended and did not disappoint. I recommend to you figure out there. One minor knock is that it is the most excitement pho in Sacramento. But, it's worth every cent.“

“My favorite place to get a nice bowl of noodles. The chicken noodle is delicious. I love my mom's chicken noodle but when I'm looking for more flavor, this is where I go. No disrespect mom. It feels healthy and tasty. The why noodle is nice and soft and the chicken has flavor. The broth is flavorful while feeling clean. And the ginger sauce is my favorite. It's also one of the more affordable places to get food.“

“This is the only place that sells fresh Banh It Ram. The outside looks like a hole in a wall but then when you walk inside it’s modern looking and it’s pretty clean. But I will say it’s not like a traditional restaurant where they greet you and a host leads you to the table. No one greeted me, so I had to walk to the cashier desk to order. An older Vietnamese lady who didn’t speak English took my order. She gave me the menu and I ordered the Banh It Ram ($9.50) and the Pho Tai Nam small bowl ($15.95). I waited about 10-15 mins for my order. The pho came out first. The broth was pretty good and rich. The meat was very tender too. They served my pho with shredded cabbages instead of the normal bean spouts which was different to me. I definitely like how there is all the different sauces, spices and fish sauce bottle on the table after going to a place where they didn’t have any it was very reassuring. Then they gave me the Banh it Ram. They serve you 3 big pieces and side of fish sauce. I thought it was good. The dough was very chewy and the pork inside was very flavorful. It was also very hot. Dipping it in the fish sauce enhances the flavor. But I wish it was crispier. This is the only place that serves it fresh so the second time I came here, I got two rice plates and another order of Banh it Ram to go because I wanted my boyfriend to try it. He thought the mochi was good and the filling was flavorful. For the rice plates we ordered number 39 and 40. Which had the grilled pork chop and charbroiled pork, shrimp cake, eggs, rice and vegetables ($18.95/each). The rice plates were very delicious. It was very filling and it was good for left overs. I would probably come back here to try the Bun Bo Hue and the other dishes. I do wish it was cheaper but that’s how it is now. Still very good though.“

“The best Chinese food i have had and the servers are very polite. Inside the restaurant the surroundings are more than you expect after you pay most times I pay less than $20 for me and my wife. Never had a long wait and as nice as it all is not too many people there always quite.“

Same menu as Rancho Cordova, with a ton of vegan options (they even have a separate vegan section of the menu). “Not cheap, but tasty. Good veggies and give a lot of banh trang. The fish sauce is very flavorful. Grape leaf beef is juicy, catfish had great flavor, and banh xeo had lots of mung bean. I'd come back, but expect to spend.

If you are allergic to peanuts, there does seem to be cross contamination. Do not come.“

“The food is super yummy! I’ve been here various times now and have tried the combo chow mein, shrimp pho, orange chicken, pork bun, and fried egg rolls and everything was delicious and FRESH. The customer service is 10/10 too as I needed help ordering the pho that I never had tried before and she was very patient and kind helping me figure out what I wanted. The restaurant doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic but do not let that deter you from trying this place. Definitely a hidden gem.“
