“I attended a private event at The Classy Hippie and was absolutely amazed at the knowledge I gained about the healing property of tea and even how to pair it with foods, who knew? Leo, the owner was very knowledgeable about the different properties of tea and shared a wealth of information on the subject. I'm not usually a tea drinker, I prefer coffee, but afterwards I purchased several blends of tea and will be enjoying it more often. Thank you Leo and Rico for hosting us. PS Leo I'm still waiting for those recipes. ?“
“Dine in or take out it’s your preference. Come inside and be greeted with lovely music and brightly color portraits of various inspiring people. The secret menu of Selena bom bom is white mocha with toasted marshmallow and rose was so good !!!! As well as the mocha mazapan!!! Absolutely delicious !!! The breakfast sandwich was ordered to your specification’s. I loved the atmosphere and the service . The person that took our order was helpful and kind. As the manager or owner was talking with two little girls and made them smile with a little treat of mazapan . As they watched the artist who was painting on a canvas ( yes. They support a local artist and his artwork of beautiful artwork . It’s a must for sure in downtown Sacramento .“
“The ambiance of candlelight, bright artwork, and metal music playing at a conversational level was enough to make me stay. But throw in a very vegan-friendly menu and delicious coffee and I'm swooning. This very solid first impression of Immortal Café included an oatmilk latte with Demerara brown sugar "fancy syrup" and it was quite good. I'd recommend you try it if you're down for a hint of sweetness. It was evening when we stopped by, so the food options were small bites and shareable. I tried both the potato chips (yum) and the Bertie, which was a truffle-infused fermented cashew cheese (double yum) accompanied by a seasonal preserve and crostini. The seasonal preserve was a candied orange marmalade, which elevated the whole pairing. So much deliciousness. The place is small and in a funky converted motel on the edge of Alkali Flats. I wouldn't bring a large group since the interior is more like a bar with some small seating arrangements. It is dog-friendly though with a couple of exterior tables. I'll be back to try out the Saturday vegan brunch for sure.“
“The food here was excellent! My daughter is vegan, I'm flexitarian and my husband is very hestitate to eat vegan. We ALL really enjoyed our food. The bare French Fries were the best fries we've had in a long time. We had the All American Burger, Mushroom Burger and the Bahn Mi Burger. Would definitely go back again.“
“This is the best donut shop I have ever been to. Not only are they the nicest and friendliest people but the donuts are not greasy at all. They are perfect and fresh and fluffy. I will always purchase my donut treats here. (If I was a few years younger Jeremy would be in trouble). Excellent place to eat!!!“
“They roast AMAZING coffee here, seriously one of the best out of all I’ve tried!!! Something about it. Their espresso is so deep so smooth so you can’t go wrong with a latte or any espresso drinks. The cold brew is a wonderful choice during hot weather. It’s not acidic at all, chocolatey and nutty just the best.Food options are so good too. I always get the Veggie Egg Sandwich. The combination is just chef’s kiss! Also (I don’t know how long this deal lasts) I went on Wich Wednesday and I got a sandwich and cold brew for the price of normally just a sandwich! Such a steal!!The staff are so friendly and helpful. I asked questions about bring home coffee choices and a staff member made a spot on recommendation. He also offered to grind the whole beans for me. Everyone’s just wonderful and made the experience 1000 times better. The environment is very clean. I love the tall ceilings and the artful decor.Love this place!! They also recently added a claw machine where you can win prizes. It’s so fun!! I hope they keep it forever.✨“
“What a great idea to be able to sit awhile with friends and play a board game. Actually chat rather than text. Love the vibe. Didn't like the bus-perpson insisting on taking my plate before I finished eating my pastry. But I can overlook that because of the good time we all had.“
“Now my family and I become regular customers here. They have very goods donut and pastries. Ham and cheese jalapeño croissant is a bomb. I can eat every day. The service always fast and friendly. They have tables to sit down and they don't mind or charge for refill the coffee which is another five stars.“
“Stopped by here in the morning on my way to San Francisco Saturday March 16th, 2024. The breakfast bacon burrito, mocha iced latte, and apple pie pastry was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was very mom and pop shop which I loved. And the service was really personable. Making this spot one of my favorites and I will be back!“
“I love rooftop macarons- I love all their macarons flavors- the best I’ve tried. In terms of value you get good size of macarons with delicious flavors. They also offer cold coffee and tea drinks. My favorite drinks are peach lychee iced tea, butterfly peach iced tea and coconut latte. If you are a dessert lover then you must give this place a try! Highly recommended.“
“I am giving 5 stars for the lovely Matcha Latte. I asked for the one in the photo, however I did not recieve the same exact drink. I recieved a classic hot matcha latte and I wanted to order another one afterward. It was delicious! (I asked for lightly sweetened with vanilla.) Unfortunately, the croissant was so incredibly stale and irrationally overpriced (same price as a latte) that I do not reccomend getting one. The emphasis on quiet here was truly amazing and peaceful to experience. I would return for a drink regardless.“
“Wow I'm amazed how peaceful, and enlightening this restaurant establishment is, and the way they set up the interior with a car theme. The coffee is tasteful, with good aromas. The employees are enlightening, and peaceful, and guarantee to put a smile on your face.I would encourage anyone to stop by here either to relax after a long day, or just to get away from the same old same routine.Kid-friendliness: The employees attitudes are enlightening, and if your having a bad day they will not only make you feel at home, but cheer you up and help you out, as well encouraging“
“My husband & I are new to CA. We were told to get a great cup of coffee this was the place to go for that & more....that advice proved to be excellent! I can bring my dog while I go in it's great. The coffee I get is the Capricorn dark roast, it's a daily necessity for me. The service is always top notch & there's always a good vibes.“
“Just stopped in on a lunch walk for an iced tea and ended up getting a brownie too. Very good chocolatey brownie and a good black iced tea. Not busy, plenty of seating indoors and out. Friendly service. Photos of native people from Rio on the back wall.“
“What can I say about this bakery where I don’t sound like I am fan girling? I love small businesses that support other local small businesses and farms. Their food is not only beautiful to look at, it is easy to devour in one sitting if you don’t have self control, but you can feel the hard work and love Faria and the employees put into it. One doesn’t have to travel far in Sacramento for wonderful naturally leavened baked bread and pastries. Follow them for specials and unique surprises. It is so worth the calories and smiles!Vegetarian options: Many items are vegetarian friendly. They may have a few that are vegan friendly too.Kid-friendliness: It’s a family friendly place! Want kid doesn’t love chocolate and bread?“
“Located in the art house on R street is tea cozy. It's to your left as you enter the art house building. I first tried this place during a Yelp event and I loved everything I got. My inventory had run low and the hubs and I had lunch near the area so I decided it would be the perfect time to restock. They were offering a hot cup of tea for $3 off of their New Years Favorites menu which is hanging on the wall to the left of the register. They also have an easel with menus which break down the tea options by type. They offer a wide range of sizing options and the staff is always so friendly and happy to answer any questions and assist you in finding your perfect cup. I got a hot cup of the Cupids Cup which was sweeter than i was expecting but in a good way and I really enjoyed it! I also went home with 2oz of Guava Oolong, a 2oz of one the green tea options and a 4 oz of the black pepper chai. For quite a small area they have so many teas to choose from and many little tea accessories through the floor as well. A lovely and quaint little spot that's definitely worth stopping in.“
“Scorpio Coffee is a unique gem in town which I have been visiting regularly since it opened. They use quality caffeine: coffee sourced from top-rated roasters nationwide and matcha that is unmatched in Sacramento! If you’re a newer visitor: anticipate seeing a new and delicious specialty drink and food menu (ft. locally sourced, in-season ingredients) that is different from previous visits or menus posted online. There is almost always a line, especially on weekends and there is limited seating indoors. Outdoor seating is weather dependent but could easily accommodate bigger parties. Overall Scorpio Coffee will be better enjoyed by those who are looking for an incredible coffee and dining experience and not a quick bite with coffee. That being said, I regularly take my order to-go but it is always worth any wait!“
“Visited this cute coffee shop in the Curtis Land Park area. Always pass them on my way to Choc Fish but today I decided to stop in. I was drawn to their blue lavender latte that I saw on their social media page. Located off of 11th Ave. There's street parking right in front of their cafe, there's also parking for the small park across the way. So there's no reason to not stop in. Exterior is so cute with an outside patio to enjoy the morning/afternoon. The building reminds me of something you'd see in the background of a movie montage or somewhere in Europe. Although I've never been (to Europe) so you can be the judge of that. As I walked inside, there were already 2 tables filled up with the "regulars" . A family enjoying their Sunday morning and a table of old men having a meetup with friends. I love the feel & vibe of this cafe already. They have menus for food and a display case of so many different pastries. My only mission today was to get the latte but next time, I'm aiming for their food. The barista was busy from making the drinks, warming up the food but she still greeted me upon entry. Got my latte with oat milk and waited patiently for my drink but I was in no rush. As soon as my drink was ready, the barista was so sweet in letting me know if there's any adjustments needed, then to let her know. Normally, I don't need adjustments but it was thoughtful of her to say that. Not common but highly appreciated! While it is still available, I highly suggest coming into this coffee shop to try the blue lavender latte but also their other drinks (i.e., mocha, latte, cappuccino etc). Blue is for the added spirulina and the drink itself was perfect, not too sweet & not too floral either. While they have coffee, there's something for the tea lovers as well! Nice cafe with plenty of indoor & outdoor seating with great customer service. Adding them to my list of coffee shops to frequent.“
“A nice spot on H for a coffee and a seat.Needed a quick pick me up and to knock out some work and this spot fit the bill perfectly.Ordered Raspberry Nirvana, Hot with Oat milk and a Chocolate Croissant. Was a nice complex flavored coffee and straight forward croissant.“
“Amazing toffee latte and bagels! The cream cheese is breathtaking. Ambiance is lovely, too. The modern design mixed with the plants makes it feel refreshing.A lot of business people will hang here since it’s right next to a bunch of office spaces, but they aren’t a problem or anything. One complaint though is the lack of power outlets. Be sure to have your laptops and phones funny charged if you plan on working here for long periods. Also, the music was a bit loud at some points. If you came here to study I’d suggest bringing your headphones just in case!“
“This is such a cute coffee house. If you love coffee, delicious pastries, and books this the place for you. We were staying nearby at an Airbnb and were able to walk here. Great location near the park and the service was exceptional. My cappuccino was just what I needed and the apricot scone was fresh and so buttery and flavorful. We visited a couple of times during our stay and will definitely stop for coffee again the next time we are in the area.“
“I am remiss to have never left a review for this wonderful coffee shop in Sacramento. I have been going to this place for years, sometimes daily before opening up my business in the mornings. Some of the best coffee in Sacramento with awesome baristas and a great atmosphere.“
“What a great hidden gem in downtown Sac! I stopped by after lunch, and they made an excellent Americano with great flavor that hit the spot. I always love a coffee shop with a great ambiance, and this place fits the bill. Stop in; you won't be disappointed!“
“Really solid breakfast spot. There are not a ton of food options in the Greenhaven / pocket area, so anything that’s not a typical chain and has even decent food will do really well. This place wins with fresh dishes and friendly service. There’s nothing here that will blow you away but everything is overall solid and tastes good. Really good spot to take the entire family for breakfast. It is also priced really well. We will be back again for sure!“
“Very neat place to hang out with friends and or get some work done in a busy, full of activity environment, if that's your choice. Tons of people.Hard to find parking also!!!Parking: Parking is very tight, and that's if you are lucky to get a spot. It's just a very busy corner, with limited spaces.“
“I wish they had just a little bit more food options but overall it's got enough for a quick coffee stop. The pour over here is of a variety that can be hit or miss for me, citrusy can become sour as it cools which I want to like but just don't seem to understand yet. I'll definitely keep trying to like it “
“For cold pressed juice and smoothies a vegan option fear this place is top-notch. The best in Northern California everything is %100 organic. They have delicious dairy free cheesecakes that you need to try. They have a delicious black rice salad and from their drink I like the cold pressed green queen and beauty and the beat have bold flavors that are not too rich coming off as well-balanced. Today I stopped in at closing minute and thankfully was able to score a new drink on my list the beat lemonade which was great for this 80° weather in beautiful Sacramento. Special shout-out to Dana who give me the recommendation and added some cayenne to give my drink a Kick.“
“He was outstanding. Very receptive, and the cost was fair. He set my garage up and got it going. He is such a lovely person. He came outside to find out why my garage wasn't working. He didn't charge us anything for it and turned down our gift, which was our power. He stated that it is his responsibility to look after us as his clients. He always makes it on time and is friendly.“
“No where to really sit when I went, but they made a spot for a friend of mine and I. Coffee was great, donuts were wonderful, and service was perfect. Nice lil coffee and donuts shop.Parking: There are two parking spots in the front and some more parking in the back. Better to walk there.“
“Love Temple! The Mexican hot chocolate was delicious - just the right amount of spice and sweetness, topped with a mountain of whipped cream dusted with cinnamon. The monkey bread was just as good, perfectly gooey and loaded with cinnamon sugar. Temple is a great spot to bring your laptop to and just hang for a while. Recommend for anyone looking for a cool spot to unwind with some comfort treats. Don't skip on the hot chocolate!“
“WoW!! The passion shows in this shop... there is an ages old argument as to whether donuts are a pastry or a deep fried sweet bread... and my thinking is that they ARE a pastry, and pastries are a type of bread. Not all breads are pastries but all pastries are breads. Whatever... that said i will add that many donuts are less like the typical delicate pastry and more like fry bread with frosting... grocery store donuts for instance... or krusty krab sugar bombs. The donuts at Dragonfly transcend the fry bread with frosting by several levels. The shop is spotless and uncluttered with smiles for everyone. My new fav!!“
“Druthers in Sutter Park is a hidden gem! Their lattes are fantastic - perfectly smooth and flavorful. But the real star is the location. The outdoor patio offers a charming escape, perfect for soaking up the sunshine while enjoying your coffee, and the inside looks/feels very nice, clean, and cozy. I also tried their waffle, which was interesting, not what Im used to, but still good. I highly recommend checking it out!“
“Great coffee, but the batista seemed a little green and was unable to answer a question about a drink on the menu. We all played it safe and purchased cappuccinos. They were great for walking around on a cold day. My friend enjoy her red velvet cookie.“
“Food is great (I always leave with an affogato or muffin) Service is amazing (the whole staff is friendly and knowledgeable) Ambiance is my favorite!! ( I love coming here to work or catch up with friends) Get here early to snag a seat. It gets packed quick! If you plan to work and need an outlet to charge your device, there's only outlets along the wall facing the window or along the couches closest to the restroom!“
“I was on my way home from a sporting event with my dog and it was quite the warm afternoon for mid-March. I figured, what better way to quench my thirst than a drink from a boba shop? I looked up boba spots from the Rosemont to Rancho Cordova area, and honestly there aren't many in that side of Sacramento. However, I came across Dream Tea and decided to try it out. Dream Tea is located in a quiet strip mall by a Dollar Tree off Bradshaw and Old Placerville Rd. When I walked in, it was quiet and modern, with fun neon lights decorating the interior. The menu items are displayed on TV screens, and I decided to get their butterfly pea flower passionfruit tea. I always opt for light ice and either 25% or 50% sweet when I order boba, and for this drink I asked for 50% sweet and light ice, which they were able to accommodate. It didn't take long for my drink to be made, and I'm glad I was able to order first, as a group of people came in right after me. This drink comes in one size, and is honestly a really good size considering how thirsty I was (water just wasn't cutting it for me that day). As another review mentioned, it is a large cup and only one size, so if you're getting another drink that isn't just fruit tea, such as milk tea, it will be quite a large drink, but personally it was the perfect size for me. The passionfruit tea was the optimal amount of fruity and sweet, especially after I mixed in the butterfly pea flower portion of the drink. I personally would have liked more passionfruit seeds as I enjoy the texture, but that's just me being picky. I didn't get boba in my drink this time as didn't feel like it, but I would like to try their other teas next time and add boba. Overall, I'm happy that there is a boba shop in the Rosemont area, and will be back.“
“Wow is this place a treat for coffee lovers. They offer complex, delicious roasts in well crafted drinks. They offer samples at the counter and offer some lovely pastries (gluten free options!) I love a good roaster and this place knocked my socks off! My husband got the hot chocolate and loved it as well!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free baked goods available“
“My husband and I came here a few weeks ago (late review), and the atmosphere was friendly, personable and inviting! The staff was friendly and even made conversation about our week. Loved our drinks too! We got 2 Cookie Monster shakes!! Definitely recommend this business And will be going back soon!“
“This coffee shop has the best food menu. The BEST food menu! A good amount of desserts, and also baked goods (although I'm not sure if they're made in house or not, but boy are those baked goods tasty regardless), and made with your normal popular Asian flavors like ube, pandan, coconut, etc. They've also got yummy hot meals too. Ranging from udon carbonara to Hong Kong style French toast; bacon & egg breakfast sandwich to a Longanisa breakfast plate; lox bagel to avocado toast, and just so much more! And with an equally good and diverse coffee menu to match **“
“The donuts and service at Sunshine Donuts is the BEST! The woman behind the counter is so friendly, as are both of the boys who work there. They have the best buttermilk donuts in Sacramento, and their maple glaze is great. Also, you can ask them to put custard in any donut! Yum!“
“Came here for the Beignets but ended up ordering more from their menu. We started with the Mardi Gras Beignets and it was so yummy. The Beignets sit on a creamy custard cream and three sauces. (Huckleberry, Strawberry and Peaches) My hubby got the stuffed french toast with Huckleberry sauce on the side. And I ordered the Cajun Egg Benedicts with "crispy" red skin potatoes. Our waitress recommended to get the crispy potatoes and it was so delicious. The service was amazing from beginning to end. Very friendly staff and they were on top of everything. Clean and fun decorations. Once you enter you get greeted by an alligator sitting on a molasses barrel. Forgot to take a photo . You just have to visit the place to see it. *They Offer Military Discount Overall, we had a great experience and the food and service were awesome.“
“Fantastic coffee no matter if it’s an iced latte or a cappuccino. Also, the staff is friendly and helpful and the owner tells amazing jokes! Dog friendly as well! Their coffee at The Trade is way better than temple which is two buildings away. Not to mention temple doesn’t allow dogs and their vibes aren’t as friendly. The Trade is my fav!“
“Warning ahead of time, no cash establishment! Place is small but dazzling foodie lounge, they got a good selection of Boba tea drinks, interesting mochi donuts (Taro is the best imo) which is a variation of dongo balls in a circular ring. Young children teens will most likely be appeared by the ambience.“
“I mean this was the second time I tried them however I just never understood why mine always costed more then the other person's when I took things out especially the whole milk though this location I tried a mocha hazel chocolate freeze it tasted okay however I tasted more ice over anything it was good customer service though and quick thank you.“
“Great boutique coffee. I get the pumpkin latte. Coffee is less sweet, but I prefer adding my own to control my sugar intake. Small little cafe with outdoor seating next to the hotel and convention center. Friendly service. Sometimes, it can be a wait for your food and other things they're pretty fast. I think they could add more lettuce to the salads as well. Some salads I've ordered have been inconsistent on ingredients.“
“Nice alternative to Starbucks. Parking is better. Updated the store with new art and fresh paint and tile around the front counter. Placed the menu board to the left of the counter so it's easier to read. Naked coffee stores all seem to have good friendly staff. Better place to sip your coffee and relax than the Starbucks next door.“
“It took me way too long to try this place. What a gorgeous experience! I ordered a cappuccino with the seasonal Wildwood syrup (floral and lavender forward). The inside of the cafe is clean and bright with a bar that's perfect for working or catching up with a friend. The outside patio is green and cozy. I will be back to try the tea and maybe a waffle.Locals in East Sacramento and River Park can easily walk to The Mill from either Folsom Blvd or by choosing the footpath behind CSUS.“
“Great pastries - I had the almond croissant. Wonderful flavor although on the drier side. Their light roast drip is 10/10 - still has great depth and flavor. Funky decor and good music playing in the background. Not too loud. Only saw a few outlets. Staff were all friendly and very fast. Good place to do some work remotely or homework.“
“This is a cool little bakery. If you're tired of Danish and doughnuts and want a sweet or savory treat, this is your place. They serve several drinks as well, and also make breads cakes, puddings and more.Parking: 85 Degree Bakery is located in Arden Fair Mall, next to Macy's. You can access 85 ° Bakery from the outside of the mall or the insideWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is provided in the parking lot, you can enter through the door outside the bakery, or through the larger doors from inside the mall.“
“Great little spot for a delicious coffee and breakfast. The mocha was one of the best I’ve had in a while, and the pastries didn’t disappoint. I went with the meat quiche and chocolate croissant. The atmosphere is really chill and the baristas were extremely friendly. Wifi was fast, so I was able to get a little work done while I enjoyed a delightful little breakfast!“
“Delicious donuts and terrific service! Some of my favorite things about Marie's is that they're open late, the sugar donuts are delicious, they take phone orders, and the staff are friendly (this is probably my favorite thing - seeing the friendly faces).“
