“Delicious pastries. Beats all the local shops around. I got here around 815am only a short line. Does look like it can get crowded since its a small bakery. Outdoor seating is super cute. Coffee is reg drip. Customer service is great. The ladies are all very nice and patient.“

“Just want to say I have been coming to these stores for all my life I'm 50 now it first started with stockton blvd and 65th expressway the cashiers were always friendly always smiled and even after that particular store shut down and we had to find a new store we continued going to the wonder bread outlet stores even now we still visit them after the name change to bimbo bakeries still the same smiling customer service still the cheerful cashiers who are always ready to help with a question and if they don't have a item they will go to the loading dock to see if they have that item I can not speak positive enough about the glories of these stores as we all know how bread tends to almost be a second mortgage payment in alot of these other retail stores so THANK YOU BIMBO BAKERIES you help keep us sane when times herr in California are trying our patience“

“I always am happy when we have to drive to Sacramento because we get to stop for dim sum at ABC Bakery! Delicious food and prompt polite service. Love the frozen items to take home. I always double check I have enough cash because no charge cards accepted, a small inconvenience for such a delightful treat.“

“A little staple in the Pocket neighborhood. The only downside is that they run out of things pretty quickly, so I definitely recommend going super early.

The almond croissants are 🔥. The spinach croissant is another favorite of mine, but that one is pretty popular and sells out quickly too. The ham, turkey, and roast beef options are all pretty good.

And the coffee cake? Super delicious. 🤌 Just keep in mind, if you want one, you’ll need to call way in advance because they go quickly.“

“My partner and I came here after experiencing the worst wait at the DoubleTree hotel for Bugtopia. I got the Saigon Honeycomb coffee, a Vietnamese coffee macaron, pistachio macaron, and the ube Biscoff macaron. I have to say that the ube Biscoff was the best one, but the other two were equally delicious. The coffee is strong—it perked me right up! My partner got the banana pudding. We both thought it was good but felt like it was missing a bit of cinnamon. I definitely recommend this spot and hope to come back!“

After going to the Thai restaurant next door and now the Amazing Taco spot, we have a reason for all three. Tacos, Thai tea etc. and Mexican dessert. This little strip is pure Gold.“

“I had a great experience today at this coffee shop. This was my first visit and the barista was very sweet and helped make my wife the perfect drink. I ordered a Mexican mocha with an extra shot of espresso. I was worried it may be too sweet since my wife always seems to think her coffee drinks have too much sugar. After I ordered the barista asked some questions to help tailor my order to make it perfect. She gave me the drinks and assured me that I would be happy. When I got home my wife was in love. This place really cares about their clients and it shows. Thank you for the great experience and the amazing coffee!“

“This spot has quickly become one of my regular breakfast spots! The best bagels I’ve had, you can really taste how fresh they are. They’re also super filling, so I usually share one bagel with my partner. Our favorite is definitely The Bae!

I’ve also tried their empanadas, and while I haven’t loved all of the flavors, their seasonal pumpkin empanada is SO GOOD!Definitely worth trying when they have it.

The staff is always super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely one of my go-to breakfast spots!“

She was like have you guys decided In a snotty attitude, My Wife asked how much was the uncooked cookie dough and she said it’s right there on the menu really rude. We were really excited to To try this place it was our first time and we felt really unwelcome. It wasn’t even close to closing time. It was about 11:15 PM and the place closes at 12 AM. We will definitely be back but probably try a different location.
8/17/26 I had to come back and change my review. We went to the Fair oaks Blvd location and we ran into the owner , this was about 3 months ago . Anyways we ran into the owner and told her our experience at the Curtis park location and she was so sympathetic and compassionate. She gave us a whole box of cookies to make it right !!! So nice !!! To say the least this is our spot now !!! These are the best cookies in Sacramento!!! Thank you Chip !!“

“Chiliquales was surprisingly good, very flavorful, the weekend special of $10 without meat or anything else was value. Adding meat and egg totaled to about $19. Came here on a whim and would try it again.

“This is a tiny hole in the wall shop, that manufactures fortune cookies with this Rube Goldberg machine to make them. It is really fun to watch. You can buy bags of fortune cookies and unfortunate cookies as well. The unfortunate cookies are called TV cookies, and they have no fortunes in them. Great prices and great flavor.“

“I am so glad we went with Looking Glass Cakes for my mom's 60th birthday. The owner was super thoughtful and collaborative about what my vision was for the design of the cake and she expertly applied her creativity to the concept. Not only did the cake turn out absolutely stunning, but the quality and flavor was unmatched. If you're familiar with bakeries in Sacramento, it was on par with the quality I'd find at Freeport Bakery. And she does classes and workshops?! “The only regret that I have is learning about my love of Armenian baked goods so late in life and not visiting this place sooner. I tried gata bread for the first time last year and found this bakery because of it. This place is amazing! The baked goods are so tasty and smell soooooo good. Open and close a to-go box filled with their baked goods and try not to drool. Lavash, gata, paklava. All delicious and fresh!! I would name more but I honestly have no idea what they are called and just pointed at stuff to try.

The people working here are also very friendly and such a pleasure to speak with. I don't know nearly enough about Armenian food but I plan to learn more so I can try more. If you have not had gata bread before, go here and try it. I cannot wait to come back to try more.“

“Great snacks and drinks! We really enjoyed trying the strawberry cream filled mochi it was delicious! Sitting outside was great and so cute!! Owners were super sweet and got to say hi to our kittens Mochi and Tofu! They allowed our babies in. Friendly and clean place. Super cute merchandise, with great prices for great quality! If you have a dog they keep dog treats inside, and they have cat treats they brought out for our kitties while we ate outside and they feed the neighborhood cat too! Just all a great experience!!!! “Can’t say enough great things about this company. My mom recently is gluten & egg free. I got her so many sweets and pastries across town and out of everything she enjoyed the pistachio & chocolate cupcakes from brown rice bakery.

I got mine from the co-op but can’t wait to check them out at the farmers market.
