“I was at an event nearby and thought doughnuts sounded good. My husband and I walked over, picked out a dozen, and the woman who rang us up threw in a complimentary doughnut. So nice! I enjoyed the blueberry (tasted like a blueberry muffin in doughnut form!) and the maple old fashioned (delicate maple flavor & thick/delicious doughnut). If we're ever in the area again, I'll definitely swing by to grab another dozen!“

“Chai Latte and Thai Iced Tea tasted fine but on the sweeter side. Seems the barista is a sweeter person. We ordered two drinks and she promptly made them for us.There is a huge seating area to enjoy your drinks and snacks since the most of the other food places are closed.I find it strange that the drinks came with prayers, but maybe that was what kept this coffee shop in business.

“Not GF or vegan but I absolutely love this bakery! Was introduced to it by a friend and now that I started going, I can’t stay away. I’ve never had something I didn’t absolutely love from bite one, though I’m rather partial to the Dole Whip Frost’em. The owner is very active on social media, always willing to answer questions, and engage with her customers. She spends a lot of time and effort to ensure everything sold is completely gluten free to ensure safety for people with allergies. I’ve learned so much. The Caring Kitchen is also really involved in community, from farmers markets, to an annual fundraiser for a children’s hospital, and the owner is one of the organizers for the Sac Vegan Festival. I cannot rave about food, the owner, and the staff enough!
