Pushkin's Bakery & Cafe Arden Arcade offers gluten-free foods, including a fried chicken sandwich, fries, and cinnamon roll. The sandwich and bun are good, though the chicken batter needs a bit more flavor, and the fries are perfectly cooked but a bit under-seasoned. The cinnamon roll is okay but has a bit of bitterness common in many gluten-free baked goods. A dark chocolate cake for a 20th Anniversary was wonderful and delicious, without the tummy troubles. Even those not gluten free enjoy the wonderful treats, like the awesome, a little bite of awesome, and the granola, a must have every week. The ham and cheese quiche is really delicious and comes with a simple side salad. There is a wide selection of pastries and containers of Babes vegan ice cream. Delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch items include sandwiches, pastry items, and handcrafted beverages (coffee and teas), with lots of vegan options. There is no WiFi, but a spacious area to sit and enjoy a meal or drink. Service is very friendly, attentive, and welcoming.
