“First time in, was pleasantly surprised how much I liked this place. Been vegan for 8 years and usually don't favor gluten free but I will definitely be coming here again. The strawberry cheesecake donut was DELICIOUS and the French toast one was pretty good too. The panini was smaller than I thought it'd be but still really tasty. The service was great, Mariam was super patient with all my questions since it was my first time in and helped me navigate the menu. Ollie helped me out when I decided to get a few more donuts to go and was also very friendly, also saw her go out of her way to help open the door for a man in a wheelchair. Overall love the food and the service, definitely worth trying if you're in the area.“
“We had a very pleasant dining experience at Canon. The menu is not extensive but still offers a nice variety of options. We appreciated that there were some unique and creative items on offer. For example, we were unfamiliar with lamb pave, but gave it a try and loved it. Our waitperson, a young woman, was very knowledgeable of every item we inquired about and made some excellent recommendations. The large platters are intended for sharing. Even the small plates are good sized. We are early diners and enjoyed a quiet ambiance during most of our meal. As we were finishing, the noise level had matched up significantly. We will definitely return.“
“Kind bean is my favorite Ethiopian place! Every dish is fantastic. They have both vegetarian and meat options. Always tastes fresh! The Ethiopian spiced tea is so delightful on cold days, especially. Raw Kitfo is my all time favorite Ethiopian dish and their's is superb.“
“Michelin recommended restaurant (as of 2024) with great food, amazing service, and a massive drink menu.We made a reservation for valentines day and they had a special 5 course valentines menu. All the food was fantastic and unique in both flavor and execution.“
“The pies were absolutely delicious! Tasty gluten-free and flaky regular crusts, filling didn’t lack for flavor, and were perfectly cooked. We used the air fryer after a minute in the microwave—just as directed—and they turned out great. Highly recommend, will order again!Dietary restrictions: Amazing gluten-free pie pastries!“
“Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.“
“The pink delight is the best standard chocolate cupcake ever. The buttercream frosting is perfection. My second favorite is the PB&J, although it's extremely messy. During March they had an Irish Cream that was fantastic and their seasonal flavors have all been really good. The service has always been top notch as well.“
“One of our favorite places to eat!!! Super close to our house off Antelope rd. A must try if you’re looking for good Italian food without breaking the bank. The owner is great, he sometimes has a bounce house setup out front and you can also book it with your birthday reservations. We just had dinner there tonight and good conversations with the staff. You’ll love it“
“For cold pressed juice and smoothies a vegan option fear this place is top-notch. The best in Northern California everything is %100 organic. They have delicious dairy free cheesecakes that you need to try. They have a delicious black rice salad and from their drink I like the cold pressed green queen and beauty and the beat have bold flavors that are not too rich coming off as well-balanced. Today I stopped in at closing minute and thankfully was able to score a new drink on my list the beat lemonade which was great for this 80° weather in beautiful Sacramento. Special shout-out to Dana who give me the recommendation and added some cayenne to give my drink a Kick.“
“My coworker bought this a while a back and let me try a little and I very much liked it. I went today for lunch, and the food was even better. I ordered the vegan beef and broccoli and chicken chow mien and they both hit the spot. It is a little expensive. Maybe some dinner combos might help with the cost. I highly recommend and would return when I want to spoil myself a little.“
“What a wonderful neighborhood gem this is! Stopped in to get some treats for clients and the line was out the door. Fortunately their system and staff were so efficient, everyone was taken care of with personal care and I was out in plenty of time.I’ll definitely be back!“
“Pushkin's Bakery in Midtown is a cute bakery close to the 80-freeway specializing in gluten free and dairy free baked goods. Inside is a quaint room, where you are greeted with a display case of their daily pastries and can catch a glimpse of employees in the backroom busy at work. I really enjoy their Green Turkey and #3 breakfast sando, as they have a good balance of greens, protein, and the gluten-free bread. Today, I ordered the Smoked Salmon, which I feel is their take on the classic cream cheese, salmon, and bagel flavor combination. The sandwich had a little less smoked salmon than I would prefer but tasted refreshing with the cucumbers and greens. If you are visiting for the first time, I would note that there is no seating inside. Outside of the bakery, there are 3 tables with umbrellas for seating. On the weekends during busy hours, plan to take/eat your food to go. Additionally, they do not serve any drinks or coffee at the Midtown location. A classic move is to grab a coffee nearby at Temple Coffee or the Pachamana Coffee in the Co-op to enjoy with your food! When it is busy, expect to wait up to 10-15 minutes.“
“I drove past this place so many times. I finally had time to stop an check it out. I ordered the tuna melt an a chocolate covered strawberry parfait! LET ME TELL YOU! One bite of that parfait an I felt my soul melt in my seat an my spirt lift from how good this dessert was. I can not believe how good it was. I do not know how they were not sold out of this dessert! The tuna melt an fries were SO fresh! I highly recommend trying this place. An Please for the love of food!! Get a parfait! You will NOT be disappointed! Would have added a photo but I ate it all lol the people here were so nice as well!“
“We had tapas at Aioli and we loved the Gambas Ajillo and the Portobello De La Moda the most. My spouse had the duck which is the Pechuga De Pato and he liked it very much as it was served with fennel. Had a glass of the G Monte wine and some bread and desert. Lovely dinner and lovely restaurant with well tuned staff. Will go again!Parking: We parked about one block away - on the street.“
“COCONUT CREME PIE! COCONUT CREME PIE!!!!!If you haven't tried yet, let me tell you how amazing and savory their coconut creme pie is. Perfect fluffy cream & filling proportion. It is pure heaven at first bite!! This has to be the best creme pie I've had (better than banana creme pie!)They have different flavors every day. So it's best to call before you head out here to see what flavors they have in their shelves! It's a nice & small cozy shop, with no tables available for dine in. Small parking lot, but plenty of surrounding street parking.“
“Neighborhood chain for multicultural sweet and savory! ~ While on a kolache and cookie spree, my cousin who lives nearby introduced me to BAD Bakers and I've been coming here ever since whenever possible when in town. Upon entering, this place looks sweetly delicious with an impressive variety of sweet and savory pastries. My favorite rare-to-find kolache options, uniquely addicting ube and tropical fruit flavored breads are available here! We've often bought a variety of each to sample and enjoy there, on the drive or at home. My cousin and I love the soft ube cookies but both thought that the fruity bread was too sweet. The beau and I love kolaches and these were satiating but heavier on the cheesy crisp side (as pictured) than most kolaches we've enjoyed. Service on both occasions have seemed to lag so a patient sweet tooth is good to have at this BAD Bakers.“
“Yanno... Aside from the drunk girl wasted folks and homeless person outside trying to get people to give pizza... I'm not counting that. The pesto pizza is ****ing delicious as **** to have after a night of drinking. The perfect end of a night out on the town. ... Seriously I love that pesto pizza.“
“Busy for an hour wait, food came out after another table that sat after us. Overall ok food for the priceVegetarian options: Vegan and vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Dairy and meat free options, gluten freeKid-friendliness: Kids menu and cups“
“Love, Love, Love this place...They have added so much to their menu it excites me. It is truly a VIBE when eating here. Many healthy, organic choices. There are 3 locations in the metro area so if you want something healthy and tasty check them out. My go-to is the Avocado toast and the City of Trees smoothie YUMMM“
“So I heard that they were doing breakfast biscuits, from 7-9am on mondays. Headed out there, made it a little before 8am thinkin yeah, I'll get a biscuit. When I tell you that there must be people waiting at this place BEFORE 7 I mean it, they were sold out. This only made the mythical breakfast biscuit even more desirable. I will be there at 7am next week...hell, 6:45 even. Hanging my head in defeat I went to leave, only for him to come running after me offering just a biscuit so I wouldn't leave empty handed. This man is doing the lords work, aside from the biscuit being absolutely fire, he just gave it to me! I'm elated truly!! Midtown bakery thank you so much for being a literal bakery temple, whatever your recipes are or secret ingredient... it must be crack. It's so good my human brain can't even comprehend it. Mark my words, if you're coming to get a breakfast biscuit sandwich thing next week you will have to fight me to be first in line. I would die for this, I need it and I would live for it too. If you ever have the chance to go here, it's worth waking up early. Just don't come before 7am next week that's for me and my breakfast biscuit worship time. If Midtown bakery is a temple I am a devout worshipper.“
