My heart and tummy are so happy. I have loved this place since I began eating at the 13th Street location about 5 years ago. I am glad they have reopened. I have tried other tan tan men, and nothing (NOTHING) compares. This made my week.
Excellent ramen that my family has been returning to for years. Order it Godzilla style for extra kick. For the best experience, arrive early, expect to wait, and appreciate the dedication that Shoki puts forward in running this restaurant. Very hearty bowl of ramen that was filling. I had the tan tan ramen with ground beef. It was very rich with fat but also a bit salty.Also ordered pork belly which was great, well fried and some spinach to help with the fat. The pork katsu was cooked sous vide then fried. Very very juicy and thick.
