“Attentive service, excellent food, would definitely return. Ordered the Tom kha soup (medium) and it had a deep and complex flavor. We then had the panang curry chicken (hot) and it certainly lived up to the spice and the hype, very impressed with the flavor. Total with Thai ice tea and rice came to $40 with tax and tip.“

“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

I try to go at least once a week to enjoy both the excellent food plus wonderful music experiences. Finally a Thai place that I don’t have qualms finding meat in my meals. I order the vegetable yellow curry and it’s delectable. He loves their drunken noodles and orders it without basil. The cheese puffs are light and crispy. Love the couple that owns it.

“Best Thai restaurant in Carmichael!!! I absolutely love dinning in and taking out from this family owned restaurant. I have lots of favorites always hard to pick but you can't go wrong. The Thai chow mein is something I have to always order with anything else I order ,it's the best!!! Definitely take a family member from out of town here , we took our grandpa from alaska and he loved it ,he got a seafood dish he enjoyed it. Favorite family owned Thai Restaurant!!!!“

“What an amazing surprise to find this hidden gem! From start to finish this was a great experience and will absolutely come back for more! Food was flavorful and fresh with a nice variety of authentic dishes. Careful though...the spicy level can be high if you're too bold (like me!). The service was friendly and good! “The service was excellent, I ordered takeout but decided to dine in and the man was very easy going and polite. The restaurant looks clean and is a comfortable space to enjoy a meal. Even though I ordered take out, when I was eating in the restaurant he offered to fill my water container with ice multiple times. I ordered the pad thai with extra toufu and the portions was massive. You can easily feed 2 adults and a couple of children on the pad thai alone, the taste of the pad thai was really different then most places in a unique way. It wasn't as much sauce as I anticipated but had a good balance. The toufu was also a good bite, only recommendation is I wish the dish as more flavors. A little more peanut and other flavors and the dish would be absolutely perfect.“

“Tasty Thai is one of the Thai restaurants near my work. I have lunch or dinner there many times. The service is always very sweet and attentive. The food is good and the dining room is not very big, but clean. I love all their curry dishes. The duck curry is my favorite. The parking lot is small and shared with a few stores and another restaurant. The parking spaces are hard to get in lunch or dinner times.

“I really really like the food here. My favorite plates are DRUNKEN NOODLES and GREEN CURRY. I am looking forward to try the whole menu because everything is sooo tasty and it is delivered very quick. You can also call ahead of time so they can prepare your order. The only reason why i am rating 4 stars is because the staff is not very friendly, a little bit rude / hostile sometimes.“

“Our prior go-to Thai restaurant was not truly vegetarian (shrimp paste in curry/sauces, for example), so we had to stop going there. Came to Thai Princess for the first time. They endorsed that their food was could be made pure vegetarian with no fish sauce, oyster sauce, shellfish, or shrimp paste in what we ordered. Hopefully that is true.

Food was lovely. We ordered Thai spring roll (vegetarian version, no shrimp), eggplant dish, and pa-naeng curry with tofu + mixed vegetables. Nicely sized portions and we took left overs home. The spring roll wrappers were soft and easy to bite through. Also enjoyed that they served us water infused with orange slices. Would definitely come again! Be patient as they have limited staff working.

“Location: If your local, this is what parts of Sacramento is like. If you're from out of town, location of this restaurant may seem like it's located in not the best part of town. BUT, the "not so best parts of town" is where you find the best authentic, local, mom and pop businesses.

Once inside, the restaurant itself is cozy. Parking is limited but street parking is available.

Food is AMAZING. And the restaurant is ran by the family.

I no longer live in Sacramento but will stop by here for food when visiting town. They have great catering options as well.“

“This is my friends and I go to place when we go to Sac Anime.

I like the Pad See ew. The noodles were just the right tenderness. The pork may be a little dry for some, but I did like it.

Even though the waiter said it might be a 15-minute wait when he sat us down to get our order, he got to us pretty quick. I assumed it was busy because of Sac Anime/ Labor Day weekend.

It's definitely a great place if you want to get lunch in midtown Sac.

Parking: There is a parking lot across the street next to the firehouse. You do have to pay to park there.“

We decided to order take-out for a large family gathering, and the meals were perfectly prepared and steaming hot at the appointed pick-up time...just perfection!

However, they recently updated their menu on DoorDash and now it is $2 more per plate AND they do not come with rice anymore.
