“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

“Delicious curry and fresh vegetables. Presentation of food was beautiful. We shared a thai green tea, very smooth and creamy, like a dessert.“

I had for starters the crispy tofu and spring rolls, also the Pad Thai and the rice mango dessert. Our waiter was on top of things and it was just an all-around great experience. We got the tofu spring rolls, (surprisingly full of flavor!), calamari, chicken satay, pineapple curry, and some ribs(which was more to my partner's taste, but they ordered it, so they were very happy I wouldnt steal it.) We got teas and she came by to refill our cucumber water regularly. We will definitely be back. I want to try the duck curry and the papaya salad.“

“My first time coming here was great, the food is not too expensive and very authentic. The veggie eggrolls are my absolute favorite. I also got the curry noodle as an entree and it’s more than I expected. Only thing to note is that the sodas are very flat, but I saw the waitress bring out a Thai tea that looks amazing so will be getting that next time.“

The Food (10/10)

We tried a few different things, and honestly, every single dish was 🔥

• Spicy Chicken Wings: These are a must-order. They were super crispy with a sweet and sour glaze that hits all the right notes.

• Tom Yum: This wasn't your average broth. It was hearty, complex, and beautifully balanced with a bright lemongrass accent.

• Drunken Noodles (Beef): Deeply savory and delicious. The beef was tender, and the portions were great—we definitely didn’t leave hungry!

I was worried sweet/sour/spicy was in every menu item we selected but they each had a unique flavor, nothing tasted the same. Absolutely delicious.

I’ve uploaded pictures to give you a glimpse of the spread, but they don't even do the flavor justice. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

My husband and I have been ordering from Tasty Thai for 10 years. It’s some of the best Thai food in the Sacramento area. The owners are absolutely lovely, and the food is amazing. (We don’t even bother going to any other Thai place because their food is the best.) If you are looking to try out a new Thai spot, this is the place you want to go! 10/10, you will not be disappointed!!“

“I ordered the yellow curry chicken and a side of rice noodles and it was in the top 10% of Thai restaurants I've had in the area. The staff was very friendly while I waited they had happy hour Monday through Friday $2 off draft beers and the food was excellent“

“The portions and seasoning are on point at kin Thai. We had the spaghetti kee mao and the ga prao. I loved the northern influence with the kee mao (spiced sausage in lieu of say chicken, for example) and the spicy garlic chili sauce with the ga prao. I think this place will do super well at the 20/K street block. Take note this food comes with some different flavors and a decent amount of heat than you may be used to, but just know you will not be disappointed. Cheers!“

“I went on my lunch break yesterday, which was at 1pm. I was promptly seated. As I already knew what I wanted, which was the Red Chicken Curry, Very spicy, so, I ordered immediately. I received my food less that 10 minutes after placing my order. The dish was extremely aromatic & equally as tasty. There was even enough for me to take some with me as I left. “(2/7/21) Went in today and was not disappointed! Ordered seafood pad see ew, beef broccoli, and chicken fried rice; all three were freshly made, the beef was tender, broccoli wasn’t soggy, but super fresh! The rice was moist and soft just like I was craving it; and the gravy was exactly what I was hoping for. The only thing I would do differently would be asking for extra shrimp, my kids ate them and only left me one 🤣 The Thai tea was so good, I ordered a second one for later 👌 I’ll definitely be going back to try other things off their menu 👌“

Usually Thai places overcook their meats but this was tender and juicy. The satay was good, but not the best I've had. Portion size was perfect. Definately give them a try!“

“I order by uber eats and the food was delicious, the only unfortunate part was when the delivery guy drop my dinner in my front porch so I don’t enjoyed my favorite dish the drunken noodles, you guys should be use harder bags to delivery orders or make sure with some tape to secure the food containers so they can’t opened while on their way to their destination.
