“A quiet small hole in a wall Thai restaurant. I'm not sure how long The Coconut EG has been here, but it used to be a Korean place with really good kimbap and bulgogi bowl. We came here for lunch on Saturday, and the place was filled up pretty quickly, so plan ahead because of the limited tables.

Curry Puff was good and nice fried. There's nothing to rave about. The Chicken Pad Thai was very good and a staple dish. The waiter will ask you for the spicy level. The Mango Shrimp Salad was excellent. Fresh ingredients and generous portion. It's a perfect dish for the hot summer days in Sacramento or when you crave something refreshing.

Friendly and attentive staff. I like it that I didn't feel rushed like other smaller restaurant because they are trying to turn the table around quickly.“

“This is definitely my go-to place for Thai food all over Sacramento. Great flavor and friendly service.

Prices have gone up along with everyone else but they still provide a very Hardy portion. I'm a big eater and I can make two meals out of the yellow curry giving it a great value for the money.

I have tried many dishes here and everything is good. Some of my favorites are the yellow chicken curry, and the drunken noodles.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

“My husband and I enjoyed the food so much. It's like having a taste of Thailand without leaving the comfort of our city. The service is awesome. The quality of food is very authentic, outstanding for the price and great service. We ordered the seafood salad (unique flavor and dressin), pad thai, tom yam chicken and a veggie dish. Yummy! “Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

I try to go at least once a week to enjoy both the excellent food plus wonderful music experiences. Dr Joe, the manager, is the most wonderful pianist and he encourages and inspires musicians and singers to perform. Please go experience the delight that is Twin Lotus Thai!“

“Location: If your local, this is what parts of Sacramento is like. If you're from out of town, location of this restaurant may seem like it's located in not the best part of town. BUT, the "not so best parts of town" is where you find the best authentic, local, mom and pop businesses.

Once inside, the restaurant itself is cozy. Parking is limited but street parking is available.

Food is AMAZING. And the restaurant is ran by the family.

I no longer live in Sacramento but will stop by here for food when visiting town. They have great catering options as well.“

“Pork belly pad Thai is my favorite here. Flavors are so bomb and authentic. Papaya is really good here Lao and Thai style too! Only negative is that they sometimes run out of food and close early.“

“Edit 4/1/2024: They have changed their menu back to how it was. I don't know if it was a glitch or what, but I'm so glad because I will now start ordering from here again. All of the food is so great, I recommend the yellow curry and the garlic pepper dish.I ordered from this place weekly because their food was so great. However, they recently updated their menu on DoorDash and now it is $2 more per plate AND they do not come with rice anymore. I can't in good faith come here anymore since they are going to skimp on the cheapest item on the menu: rice.“

“We love Shrimp Lovers. The flavor of their sauce for the seafood boil are SO GOOD.
We always do garlic butter (cajun) but change up the heat from mild, medium, to spicy.
Everything is always cooked wonderfully.
We sat in for the first time (usually do take out), and it was a little hot bc Sac weather is crazy- the service and food were excellent.“
