“This place definitely deserves a try. I love the boat noodle there. The food is amazing and well worth my money. The only downside is, I feel like it's a bit too far from where I'm at. ??But definitely am returning for more. 5/5 chefs kiss! “
“Here's what you need to know: Clean restaurant with very attentive staff. Not the best Thai food I've had in the area, but it's good. We love Thai food and it's one of the few types of food that we actually go out to eat, because it's never as good at home. Anyway, what I noticed was the green curry was a little bland, maybe too much coconut milk. Not enough to subtract any stars, but was my observation. The atmosphere was good too, not too loud or crowded for conversation, yet they did a steady business, with lots of people that seemed to be regulars.“
“I ordered the combination boat noodle, it's not your typical dark broth boat noodle, I think this should be Thai pho, not boat noodle, boat noodle has dark broth like blood broth and Thai pho is just like regular pho, that's my experience. Overall, the pho taste good, I give a rating of #8 from 1-10 rating. If you are around this area and looking to eat pho, give this place a try. I recommend this dish, Combination boat noodle.“
“Ramen comes to mind when the weather is cool and raining! Ever since I heard Pipo Ramen & Rice is on the Top 100 Places to Eat in Sacramento, I have been wanting to try this place. It's located in South Sacramento, off 65th Street, in this quiet plaza with plenty of parking. We came here for dinner a little before 6:00 pm on weekdays, and we were the only customers. The place is clean, tidy, and spacious with a high ceiling. We sat down and were given the menu and water right away. At first, I thought this was a Japanese/Ramen restaurant because of the name. After looking at the menu, it turns out it's a Thai restaurant. Either way, I enjoy both Japanese and Thai food.I love duck, so I immediately knew I wanted the Crispy Duck Fried Rice. I was surprised that the duck breast was served on top of the basil fried rice, instead of diced and cooked together with the fried rice. I really like that because I can see what part of the duck I'm eating. It's also delicious! The duck was crispy and savory. The basil and Thai seasoning add unique flavors to the fried rice. Generous portion. I would definitely get this again. 5/5We also got the Tonkotsu Ramen. It's your typical ramen with the standard toppings and ramen egg (ajituske tamago). The broth is creamy and not too salty. It really is perfect for the rainy weather. 4/5The service was great. The server was friendly and checked on us a couple of times. We can't wait to come back and taste other dishes.“
“JP Thai Kitchen is a hidden gem on Freeport Blvd in Sacramento. The food is delicious with an excellent service. The dining room is a little dated but comfortable. I have the Roasted Duck Curry and Spicy Fish (I want it mild). I also ordered brown rice for the curry. All the dishes are delicious. However, I hope the Roasted Duck Curry is a little more creamy. It is more like a curry soup; even the curry tastes very well.Parking: ADA parking availableKid-friendliness: The restaurant has many dishes the kids will likeWheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is wheelchair friendly“
“Unexpected place that has great food & service. The Tom Yum Goong soup was the perfect on a cold rainy day. Perfect balance of spice and ingredients. Was able to smell the ribs before they arrived at the table. There were great also! The waitress was friendly, timely and responsive. Definitely a place to try if you're in the mood for Thai food.“
“Perfect lao food. You have to know this place, to know. Their pad thai is bomb. I love their sausage and sticky rice combo. Thai tea here is probably one of my favorites! I love their fatty pork belly with egg. steamed catfish & kaopoon. Service is always on point too. Call ahead for quicker service but their service is really fast already!“
“Not bad for a boba place. It's not like your typical quickly or other boba spots. This place actually serves Lao dishes and desserts. We drove all the way to Cocomilk Cafe from Hayward after seeing people post their food and restaurant on TikTok. The service is excellent. The staff are so helpful and attentive. We ordered the Lao Sausages, Khao Piak, Nam Khao, Grilled Beef, Heavenly Beef, Pork Tapioca and Mochi Layers. Everything was very delicious.“
“The portions are enough to feed 2-3 people. Everything was amazing. We had the pad woonsen, drunken noodle and the karee puff. The puffs were my favorite. They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not overly salty. I’d drive out of my way to eat here again. Plenty of vegetarian options.“
“My wife is Thai and very, very, very picky about her Thai food (she’ll even go back in the kitchen at some restaurants to interview the chef, see if they’re up to snuff). She says Khao Man Gai is very hard to make good and that this place has some of the best she’s tasted (and remember, she’s really, really, really picky). I like their Crizp chicken (I sub out the sweet chili sauce for the Soy Bean Sauce). When I get home I throw some more cilantro and sliced cucumbers on top. We’re going back today for more, it’s very addictive! I think they put a lot of love into their cooking, always been satisfied with them! Keep up the great work!“
