Yesterday was my second visit to this restaurant. I really enjoyed the food the first time I came, especially the Tom Kha soup with chicken. I highly recommend it—it has a unique flavor that sets it apart from the Tom Kha soups I’ve had at other Thai restaurants.
This time, though, my experience was a little different. The food was a bit too soft and mushy for my taste, especially the Pad Thai. The eggs in the dish seemed undercooked, which affected the texture. The...read full review

This place is an undiscovered gem. Service is fast and food is excellent. We had the Fresh Roll to start and it came with peanut sauce....excellent and very refreshing on a hot summer day. Then we had green curry (chicken), Basil (mixed vegetables and we added shrimp) which was also excellent and we had it medium spicy which is pretty hot for people not accustomed to Thai spiciness levels. Thai Hot is an undiscovered gem in Elk Grove. The food is excellent, fresh, and flavorful. The Tom Kha soup with chicken has a unique flavor that sets it apart from other Thai restaurants. The Pad Thai was amazing with great flavor and a good portion for the money. The Eggplant dish is outstanding with thick sauce and lots of Eggplant, and they will add meat if you like. The Fresh Roll comes with peanut sauce and is very refreshing on a hot summer day. The green curry (chicken) and Basil with mixed vegetables and shrimp are excellent, served medium spicy. The brown rice is actually purple, very tasty and healthy. The Thai Fried Rice with chicken is very, very good. The mango sticky rice is the perfect sweet ending. Everything is served super hot and fresh. The service is fast and great, and the staff are kind. Entrees including rice is really nice and portions are very good. The food is absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. It is well worth a try and a new favorite Thai restaurant in Elk Grove.
