“Lianna at the counter was super helpful. She added an additional meat to my sandwich for me. She also provided me with a plastic cup and ice to go for free. The place is adorable, pretty affordable, and clean. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The bread on my sandwich was really good. Great consistency and flavor. We had sandwiches, a cherry tartlet, and a merengue roll. All were delicious. The coffee and tea we had were presented so nicely and tasted very good. We will go many miles out of our way to visit here whenever we drive through the area.“

“I highly recommend Siam Patio for drop in or take out. I'm not sure if they've had a recent change in ownership or management, but we are sorely disappointed in the new policy of "no reservations for 'only' two people". My husband and I have been regular and frequent patrons since the month Siam Patio opened, and always reserve a table for every special occasion and holiday, including Christmas. Today I attempted to make my usual Christmas reservation for two on Christmas day. I was bluntly informed that if we had 'only two' people we would have to be walk ins. No reservations. The food may still be delicious, but the service and appreciation for dedicated customers is in the toilet. What a shame!“

“I ordered the chicken pho at Lasam Pho in Citrus Heights and it was absolutely outstanding. I’m used to getting overcooked, dry chicken at most places, but theirs was the complete opposite, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with their richly seasoned broth, which really brought the whole dish together. You can tell they put care into the quality of their ingredients. Definitely one of the best chicken pho experiences I’ve had.“

Menchie’s on Madison is hands down one of my favorite frozen yogurt places. They switch up the flavors regularly, so there’s always something yummy to try, and I love that it never feels stale or repetitive.

What really makes this location stand out is how welcoming they are to kids and toddlers—it’s such a friendly, family-friendly spot. The store is super clean, well-organized, and well-maintained, which makes every visit enjoyable. Even the bathroom is big, well-stocked, and spotless—which, let’s be honest, is a huge plus when you’ve got little ones in tow!

The employees are pleasant and efficient, not overly chatty, but they get the job done, and I appreciate that. The prices are fair, and they run great promotions from time to time, making it even more affordable.

At the end of the day, this is my go-to frozen yogurt spot. Whether I’m with my kids or catching up with friends, it’s always a great experience. Highly recommend!“

Thomas offered a gluten free dessert that was good enough to come back for alone! He also gave us fortune cookies, reminded us they are not gluten free but said we can still read our fortune! “Updating to 5 stars. I believe in second chances. I tried it again and loved my food! My daughter's alfredo looked good last time, and I wanted pasta again without a lot of hassle, so I gave it a shot. I asked for no bacon bits. The dish was really good and so satisfying! The broccoli and spinach were very fresh. The pasta was cooked perfectly (as it was the last time). The sauce had plenty of flavor, esp with the delicious cheese they grated on top, so not sure what was up with my daughter's food as mine definitely wasn't bland or dry. It wasn't ultra saucy, but it had enough sauce for me, plus I don't need the additional calories. I subbed shrimp for chicken, and it tasted really good--grilled, not bland. Now I know I can just customize a little and make it a little more to my taste if needed. They have different proteins to choose from, and you can add additional vegetables of all sorts. I will be adding this spot to my rotation. Glad I gave it another shot! Also, I find the staff to be very sweet and professional. They're always cleaning up, and that's good to see too.

The food is average, but the plus is that it seems to be fresh. I ordered a Cajun pasta with shrimp that was far too heavy on thyme. I was expecting cajun flavor, not thyme and was very confused by that. There were annoying, hard bacon bits throughout that just seemed more like old bits of overcooked meat. It was very unappealing. I kept trying to scrape them away. The pasta was really dry. Hardly any sauce.

My daughter got the alfredo and subbed shrimp instead of chicken. It was also dry, hardly any sauce, which made it bland and unpleasant to eat.

The shrimp was ok. Not the best quality, but it didn't smell bad or anything. I wasn't expecting really great seafood at a chain restaurant anyway.

Service was very polite, and the food came out warm and fairly quick without being suspiciously quick.

I can't say I would not go back, but I am also not sure I would want to go back.“

“Boudin had the best sourdough! They have so many options for a great meal like half soup / half sandwich / Mac & cheese / half salad. The prices have increased over the years but the food is still delicious. Highly recommend the tuna melt and tomato bisque soup. Not sure how long the promo is but when you order a meal you get a kids meal included. Staff is super friendly and the place is clean even though they are steadily busy!“
