Bread and Falafels are made in-house by the owner, Ramzi. Super nice guy. This is notched on as one of my favorite places already.”

“Wow wow wow!!! The fish and chips here are delicious!!! My husband and I ran in right before closing and the fish was so fresh and the batter was so crispy! My husband grew up in Washington eating fish and chips at Iver’s and he said this is the closest he’s ever had to their fish and chips. The owners are so sweet and hooked up us with a couple extra pieces since they were closing in a few minutes. Tugboat Fish and Chips is becoming a staple in our household!

“My sister and I went to Kork for the first time tonight. What a great find! It’s small, warm, old-world eclectic without being pretentious. It’s comfy and has a surprisingly extensive menu of both small bites / snacks and wines. We enjoyed sparkling wine, really nice flatbread pizzas, and a couple of other appetizers. The quality and service were excellent. Steve is a great host. We’ll definitely be back. Perfect spot to sit and visit, and great happy hour specials!”

“Discovered this place by accident and decided to pop in. The lady there was so nice and let me try a matcha drink that was very tasty. they have an excellent menu of drinks and some baked goods that are health conscious and good for diabetics and Paleo type diets. Just think Starbucks without the 10,000 calories but all the flavor and even high nutrient value. Just stop in and check it out and I am confident you will be as happy as I was.”

“Lianna at the counter was super helpful. She added an additional meat to my sandwich for me. She also provided me with a plastic cup and ice to go for free. The place is adorable, pretty affordable, and clean. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The bread on my sandwich was really good. Great consistency and flavor. We had sandwiches, a cherry tartlet, and a merengue roll. All were delicious. The coffee and tea we had were presented so nicely and tasted very good. We will go many miles out of our way to visit here whenever we drive through the area.”

“This place rocks. If you want authentic pancakes with your Mu Shi Pork and if you want authentic potstickers that taste yummy this is the place for you! Everything I ate was good and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately their AC was out today and it was 106 degrees in my car. I didn't want to give them a 4/5 for atmosphere, but I had to honestly.

“Great place with an amazing staff who truly work as a team! The food was prepared quickly. I’m temporarily following a vegetarian diet and really enjoyed the salad with tahini and the warm pita, while my daughter loved the delicious beef and lamb gyro! We’ll definitely be back!”

“On a super hot summer day a boba from here is the best. I had the large Taro with extra sweetener and Boba!!! The two workers were really sweet and efficient!! They were so patient with me because I had no idea what I wanted to order. The store is really calm and clean the music was soft and enjoyable also! Will definitely come again!”

“I highly recommend Siam Patio for drop in or take out. I'm not sure if they've had a recent change in ownership or management, but we are sorely disappointed in the new policy of "no reservations for 'only' two people". My husband and I have been regular and frequent patrons since the month Siam Patio opened, and always reserve a table for every special occasion and holiday, including Christmas. Today I attempted to make my usual Christmas reservation for two on Christmas day. I was bluntly informed that if we had 'only two' people we would have to be walk ins. No reservations. The food may still be delicious, but the service and appreciation for dedicated customers is in the toilet. What a shame!”

“Came in recently on a Sunday night. Atmosphere was cozy and fun. Many friendly locals come by it seems.

However, there was one customer that got too “friendly” with me. Luckily the bartender, “Coop” or “Cooper”, was kind enough to ask if I was okay and picked up on my gestures that I was uncomfortable. He made me feel safe and ensured I was okay while keeping the peace.

Other than that event, my drink was delicious and I had a great time chatting with other regulars. I’ll be sure to come back!”

“Definitely a hole in the wall restaurant with a unique and beautiful atmosphere, as well as excellent food and service. Personally, the Mango Curry dish was a superb choice for trying something new. The staff were so kind and welcoming which made the food even better. It was only by chance we chose to eat here, and we’re so glad we did. Am sure we’ll be back!!”

“We passed this restaurant from where we parked our car to Trader Joe’s and the smell was super good, so, we decided to try it. The restaurant was just opened at 3pm so we were served immediately. The food came out quite fast .
I ordered 2 different tacos and they were both delicious! We love that they double the tortillas to support the filling that was quite generous!

- Chicken taco: super flavorful chicken and tender meat. My kiddo’s version was without onions and it was still good. Mine with onions and all the fixings were delicious! The fresh onion pieces gave a nice crunch to the taco.
- Birria taco: delicious! The shredded meat was super tender and flavorful! The salsa gave a good kick to the dish. It’s my favorite.”

“Baskin Robbins to the Rescue.. when McDonalds assured they had shakes, downloaded stupid app & showed up to be told not 5 minutes later( by McD's) our shake machine is broke,, off to Baskin & Robbins I go and to perfection as Destiny was super nice as can be and seriously it's a much better shake for the money anyway unfortunately unfortunately I had to get a better milkshake due to incompetency at another place but always and have been coming here for years so 10 Stars if I could give it 😁”

“An interesting example of balance in casual Chinese dining. After a drive from Fair Oaks, I noticed how well the kitchen handles texture: vegetables retain crispness, sauces are present without overwhelming the dish, and protein portions are proportionate. Even the fried rice shows attention to timing and heat. It demonstrates how technique can quietly elevate familiar recipes.”

“A true corner bar and restaurant, El Balcon has a great variety of both liquor and foods. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, just go and order your food at the small counter, grab a number and find a place to have your food brought out to you.

They have a nice self-serve chips and salsa bar where you can try out a wide variety of sauces. We ordered the grande Nachos - which are an entire meal, and I got the Pina Loca - which is pineapple cut in half, with a bisteak layer, and then topped up with a seafood (shrimp, octopus, crab sticks, and maybe scallops) smothered in melted cheese and some sauce (maybe mayonnaise) which was absolutely delicious. Never seen anything like it before which is why I decided to give it a try.

The woman at the counter also recommended their Birria tacos which are only made on the weekends, but I had to go with the pineapple this time.

Overall the service was extraordinarily friendly and the food came out quickly. My friend tells me their Tequila selection is excellent. Highly recommended!”

“Got the mono, super spider, and pineapple tree. The super spider was easily the best roll and is a 4.5/5. The others are 3/5. Freshness, you can tell not super fresh. Too much sauce. Service could be better. Solid sushi place but nothing special.”

“Not sure why Five Guys is not in the discussion for the best fast food burger. I think it's better than almost all others. But maybe it's there is not as many and they keep closing. Very sad the Folsom location closed. This one the ketchup was out and I was given the managers name if I needed anything...except the managers name was illegible. But minor issues. Overall a good five guys. Just not worth the 15 more minute drive past folsom.”

“Every time I come into this round table pizza and it doesn’t matter what I order it appears that everything is always correct. Even when I order extra cheese, it is there. Unlike all the other roundtable pizzas within a 10 mile radius. This one seems to be pretty good and I will frequent often.”

“When I drove in the pave way to the trendy store front Restaurant, I can smell the aroma of Chicken Wing Bliss my way. I had to get my peanut butter wings, can't believe they created such a mix with bursting of flavors. Get the garlic fries and share it with all your friends, it topped off with cheese.... Yummy! Come here if your want wings heaven and staff are super friendly. Love this place!”

“My daughter told me about the Fair Oaks location. We got the tacos but the real treat was the guacamole which is made just like the restaurant in Culver City which is Tito Tacos.on Washington Blvd. The hard shelled tacos were great. Taco Exxpress has a good menu and I'll try other things too but the tacos and guacamole remind me of Tito Tacos. The lines at Tito Tacos are very long so the drive thru at Taco Exxpress would be like any other taco place but its the food with this added benefit.”
