“What a cozy home style Italian restaurant in Fair Oaks. Staff is professional & personal. Cuisine is unlike any other owner-operated Italian Cafe in the Sacramento area (are there any?). “We had a great breakfast this morning. I had the Savory crepe and my partner had the Cali burger with an egg. The coffee was good. The music was awful inside, there was some guy wailing blues lyrics. Our hostess and server Camilla was great, she was very attentive as she attended to other opening tasks around the restaurant. Our overall experience was great, hopefully they have something more honest for music in the mornings. I'm glad to know I can come back and get pasta first thing in the morning, their menu is all day long.Parking: When we arrived the parking lot was mostly empty on a Tuesday morning. No troubles finding a spot.“

“This was my first visit to Char market but it certainly won’t be my last. The food was delectable and the staff very welcoming. I had the steak taco plate and on one of my tacos I had bone marrow. It was so good and the sauce they use is better than any I’ve had. I highly recommend that everyone give Char Market a try. You’ll be hooked!“

“Where do I begin. As soon as you walk in, you get a warm smile like a hug from Carmelita! The place looks really high end and the ambiance is extremely welcoming and calming. They know what they are doing and I wish them the best of success. We are forever customers now. When we sat down, Carmelita, explained everything about the menu, what is great, what she loves, what is popular, and what she thinks we like. We ended up having a Cesar salad, and 2 pizzas ( names under pictures). From the first bite, my eyes closed, and it was bliss. The dough was light and airy, the crust was full of flavor, and each bite takes you to another world. They know what they are doing and we met the chef to thank him for what he did. They have other styles of pizza so we are definitely coming back for the Detroit style deliciousness. Thank you for the delicious food, hospitality, and overall experience.“

“This is a great place to go get a good burger and hang out. It's a very relaxed place, even when the downtown is bussing with people. The service is great, even when they're busy. My husband and I didn't feel well after ordering their Brussels sprout appetizer, despite it being delicious, but everything else I have had there, be it salads, burgers, or tacos, have been superb. I have never ordered anything there that I didn't like! I highly recommend their mushroom burger, and the tater tots are the best I have ever had!“

Third place is the steamed chicken dumpling, it was less flavorful than the others, but still delicious! We ordered two more rounds of the pan fried buns because 6 was just not enough when they are so delicious! My husband also LOVES the popcorn chicken. We ordered it non spicy for the kiddo and she enjoyed it. Spicy for us. Lightly breaded and full of flavor. It's so nice to have a dumpling place nearby! The smoky spicy jalapeño sauce had just enough kick and brought the whole sandwich together. The interior is welcoming has a decent amount of table and bar-style seating. “I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. “Tried this place for a lunch a few days ago as we were looking for a quick bite to eat during the lunch hour and so glad we did. The pizza was good and overall had good flavor and the combo special 2 slices and a drink for $12.00 was not a bad deal. Overall the ambiance was small town pizza place with limited seating and more of take out or perhaps delivery place than an eat in place. The service was awesome!! Within the 35 to 40 minutes we were there the employees came by our table 3 times to see if we needed anything or had questions. On their last check in they offered us some coupons for our next visit which I thought was very nice. We certainly liked the pizza and will be back in when in the area again looking to eat pizza or grab a quick bite. Definitely a solid place for pizza.“

Every worker there was extremely mannerly and approachable but there was a certain worker who went above and beyond for me and my group. “Strobelli's is the best pizza in my area, when I feeling cheap I will get Dominos, but when I want to eat a very good pizza I chose Strobelli's, cost more but it is definitely worth the price, the meat is fresh, the vegetables are fresh, the dough is fresh. She made sure my order was correct as well as explaining what my buzzer was going to do. She pointed out where the chili bar was at and the soda machine. After my order came out she repeated my order and made sure it was MINE. she was so lovely she went around asking if anybody needed anything and when she got to me she asked if I wanted a box or a bag and I asked her if she could get me napkins she said "no problem of course" with a smile.
