At 4:00 pm the other day, they did not open and then we saw through the windows all the tables and chairs had been removed. Since there was no signage outside to indicate they were closed, I searched the internet and found an article from mid December, 2025 that they were closing permanently on 12/31/2025.“

I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

“Delicious food and amazing service. I visited on a Tuesday around noon, it was not busy. The waitress and team were very attentive and kind. I ordered the chicken tikka kabob with rice, garlic bread on the side, potato bolani, and vegetable soup. Everything tasted amazing and was cooked to perfection. I am definitely coming back here! I wish it was closer to the Bay Area. This is the most authentic Afghan food I have tried in America.“

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender. I enjoyed an inhouse, freshly made mango lassi. Wow! We have enough leftover to enjoy a shared lunch tomorrow.“

Surprisingly, create dumpling place. Highly recommended.

Food: One of the better dumplings I’ve had in a while.

Service: the waiter and waitresses were very attentive and came out several times to make sure that we are happy. Good job

Atmosphere: above average. I love the glass window so you can watch the cooks prepare the flour for making dumplings

“I recently found Sweetgreen and didn’t expect to become a regular this fast, but here we are 😅

First off—the food is actually really good. The chicken is cooked to perfection every time (which is rare), and everything just tastes super fresh. What really surprised me though… the dressings. I’m usually very picky about dressings—like if a place has 5 or 6 options, I normally only like one (if that). Somehow here, I like multiple?? That alone says a lot.

But honestly, what keeps me coming back is the staff. Sani, Angela, Ash, Isaac, and Nessa are all so friendly and welcoming. From my first visit, they helped me figure out what to order and gave suggestions without making me feel rushed. Now I have a custom bowl I’m obsessed with, and they’re always recommending new things to try based on what I like.

You can tell they actually care—about the food and about the people coming in. That kind of service makes a big difference.

“Always a good experience when I go food is always good service is friendly. I went in on 7/31/2026 around 1 pm. I normally come later, I’m being specific about the date and time for who was working. I ordered hot wings extra crispy…I was hungry, they did come out pretty fast which should of been the first sign, like I said I was hungry and kinda pressed for time… I don’t know if the server remembered to tell the cook, but they were definitely not extra crispy if even cooked all the way. My stomach is bubbling a little as I type 😅 the wings are pretty big so they need at least 12 mins even longer for extra crispy. Whoever was the cook needs to realize that. Next time let get it right. Thanks“

“I had never been to Blaze before, but my experience was honestly great! Annabel, the employee working the register, was super friendly, funny, and welcoming. She was joking around, had a great attitude, and genuinely seemed like she was enjoying her job, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and fun for my wife and me.

She was also very patient and helpful when it came to accommodating my wife’s gluten allergy. She took the time to make sure everything was handled properly and offered a glove change before I even had to ask which made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process. You could tell she really cared about giving us a good experience, and we truly appreciated that. We will definitely be back !“

“The pizza is pretty good. Better than the majority these days. Atmosphere is a hole in the wall local neighborhood favorite. Prices are a bit high so I'd expect more from the pizza but I can't honestly give it a 4 as it's a solid 4.5. Service was great and welcoming. The pizza balls were delicious. Don't eat them cold as they taste like bread instead of pizza dough. If I can eat a cold pizza the next day, then it's somewhere I'll come back. The pizza was good the next day but the pizza balls weren't good like they were when they were hot. Overall a good pizza and I'll probably be back.“
