Back in December, my family was dining there when the owner came over and shared his story behind Riley’s, a tribute to a beloved Labrador who changed his life. He took the time to truly connect with us, and we left thinking, “Wow, this guy is different. He cares.” Fast forward seven months, and I reached out to him with a heartbreaking story about our extended family’s red fox lab, Wrigley, who we lost suddenly and tragically. I hoped he could do something small to honor Wrigley, but his response overwhelmed us. He listened deeply, reacted with empathy, and went above and beyond to honor this pup in a way that brought us comfort and healing. Riley’s on Sutter has now become a special place for our family to gather and remember Wrigley. I had their Philly cheese sandwich and fries really good lots of good meat and peppers and other things in the sandwich, a little heavy on the sauce so you might want to tell them to go light on the sauce if you don’t want a lot of sauce, but the quality was good. The taste was good. The fries were outstanding will definitely be using them again in the future.“

They have a roll that is so good called the mozzarella roll which is lobster in a rice roll with mozzarella cheese melted on it with special sauce it sounds weird but OMG is it to die for. “Went in on Sunday April 12th for a XL combo pizza and a personal pizza for my sons 4th birthday. The lady (truly wish I knew her name but she’s the lady that was working at 2:40pm) who attended me was such a nice and kind person! It’s because of people like her that we will be back, well on top of the delicious pizza!!“

“Great first experience! I was traveling back through Folsom and saw that this place had plant-based meats. I tried both the Impossible steak and plant-based turkey, on separate mini sandwiches, to be clear. To make it vegan, I omitted the mayo and cheese. Both were still so delicious, as were the fries! The service was great as well. The gentleman that helped take our order was super pleasant, answered all our questions and was so patient with us. I really hope a shop opens up closer to me, otherwise I will be stopping back through the next time I'm in the area.“

“The service was very good and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server was especially pleasant and did a great job, which is the main reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 3.

Unfortunately, the sushi and rolls were pretty average and not as flavorful as I expected. They weren’t terrible, but they definitely didn’t stand out and left me a bit disappointed. Maybe other items on the menu are better, but based on the sushi alone, I probably wouldn’t come back.“

“We tried this place for the first time this week. My wife got a salad with chicken and I got an enchiladas plate. The food was better than expected, cooked well, good temperature. I was especially impressed with the roasted vegetables in my wife’s salad, the quality of the chicken, and the spicy green sauce on my enchilada. “The pizza is pretty good. Better than the majority these days. Atmosphere is a hole in the wall local neighborhood favorite. Prices are a bit high so I'd expect more from the pizza but I can't honestly give it a 4 as it's a solid 4.5. Service was great and welcoming. The pizza balls were delicious. Don't eat them cold as they taste like bread instead of pizza dough. If I can eat a cold pizza the next day, then it's somewhere I'll come back. The pizza was good the next day but the pizza balls weren't good like they were when they were hot. Overall a good pizza and I'll probably be back.“

“So last night I was on doordash looking for restaurants in Folsom that were open and sounded good. I don't actually use doordash other than for inspiration and to see pictures/reviews. I noticed that there was a calzone place that was supposedly close by to where I live. This was strange to me as I didn't know there was a calzone place. It turns out, the pizza guys sell calzones through doordash but there is nothing on the website or in the store, that I noticed, so I asked in person if I could order one directly from them. They said yes! Look on doordash for the different flavors, but I got the Santa Cruz, which was like a Hawaiian pizza calzone. It came out hot and it was SO delicious! They are hiding these from you, so go get you one! You just need to ask.“

“Shout out to Elijah!!! We so appreciated his help tonight. Thank you!! Tonight my family and I used the app to pick up food in the drive thru. We had an email allowing us a free chicken sandwich when you use the app. We don't eat out often so this was a treat for us. My husband had already used the app, so this was his second time in the app to get the free sandwich with our order. When we picked up our food, two of the young workers couldn't help us with this promotion, so we spoke with the manager. She also said sorry we can't help you! We were at the window and received our order, but had to order another item as the chicken sandwich was going to be my husband dinner and we wouldn't receive it. While we were trying to get this order going another young man came up to the window to help us! He heard about the situation and honored the free Chicken sandwich promotion. “I really love being able to order food online. I select my meal, pay, and choose the time for it to be prepared. I simply show up and pick up my order right on time. No apps, no sketchy subscriptions, and no lines. As an added bonus, the food is incredibly fresh, and there are plenty of options to suit any preference.“

“I went into Beach Hut Deli thinking I’d grab a quick sandwich… and left questioning why all sandwiches don’t taste this good.

First off, the vibe is elite..feels like you’re on a mini vacation instead of just grabbing lunch. Super chill, no stress, just good energy all around. The staff were cool too..fast, friendly, and didn’t make me feel rushed while I was clearly taking way too long to decide what I wanted.

Now the sandwich… ridiculous (in the best way). Fresh ingredients, stacked like they actually care, and the bread? Perfect. Not too hard, not too soft, whoever figured that out deserves a raise. Every bite was one of those “okay yeah, this was the right decision” moments.

Portions are no joke either. I went in hungry and still had that moment halfway through where I realized I might’ve overestimated myself.

10/10 would absolutely come back. If you’re thinking about going, just go. Your future self will thank you.“

“The sandwiches are amazing (especially the bread). There is a wide variety of toppings and meat, and decent prices. Although it is a little on the pricier side, the cost is worth it. It is perfect for smaller groups (2-3) but fits larger groups easily. Interior is great, with a pool table and shuffleboard? I think it’s shuffleboard. Either way it’s fun.

“The food and service were excellent! It's easy to put your order in at the kiosk, which they have a few of, or up front with a staff member. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. I personally think that habit Burger is a few steps above most other burger restaurants. There are pluses and minuses to some of the others, but as far as just flavor, texture and size these burgers are amazing. A personal favorite is the grilled on rye burger that they brought back.“
