I noticed that there was a calzone place that was supposedly close by to where I live. This was strange to me as I didn't know there was a calzone place. It turns out, the pizza guys sell calzones through doordash but there is nothing on the website or in the store, that I noticed, so I asked in person if I could order one directly from them. They said yes! Look on doordash for the different flavors, but I got the Santa Cruz, which was like a Hawaiian pizza calzone. It came out hot and it was SO delicious! They are hiding these from you, so go get you one! You just need to ask.“

Location: My experience with Mendocino Farms has been the midtown location and one of the places that we always see to get sandwiches to go. Great to see one not that far from Palladio and just off the freeway into the foothills. Lots of parking around the area and just off Bidwell.

Service: Staff was friendly and attentive. They have QR codes at the tables so that the servers know where to bring your food.

Vibe: Nice clean location with lots of seating inside and outside of the location. Bright colors and airy.

Food: I decided to go a little adventurous with my food this time and tried out the Veggie Banh Mi. I've been trying to go with something that sounded more healthy. The sandwich was surprisingly good. Nice toasted bun and the Tofu was well prepared. The pickled veggies tasted great. Overall a great sandwich!

First off, the vibe is elite..feels like you’re on a mini vacation instead of just grabbing lunch. Super chill, no stress, just good energy all around. The staff were cool too..fast, friendly, and didn’t make me feel rushed while I was clearly taking way too long to decide what I wanted.

Now the sandwich… ridiculous (in the best way). Fresh ingredients, stacked like they actually care, and the bread? Perfect. Not too hard, not too soft, whoever figured that out deserves a raise. Every bite was one of those “okay yeah, this was the right decision” moments.

Portions are no joke either. I went in hungry and still had that moment halfway through where I realized I might’ve overestimated myself.

It is perfect for smaller groups (2-3) but fits larger groups easily. Interior is great, with a pool table and shuffleboard? I think it’s shuffleboard. Either way it’s fun.

There are pluses and minuses to some of the others, but as far as just flavor, texture and size these burgers are amazing. A personal favorite is the grilled on rye burger that they brought back.“
