New Owners! Delicious Persian and Pakistani (alternate pages of menu). We had their paneer appetizer). It had big cubes of soft Pakistani cheese in a tomato based cream sauce with finely chopped ginger. Fabulous. We also enjoyed a grilled eggplant with a Persian yogurt cultured from sheep and goat milks. The butter chicken was exceptional: he grills his chicken, chops it, then adds the juicy chunks of meat into his delectable sauce. His ground beef kabob was juicy and tender....read full review
Love this place! Easily the best Persian food in the Fair Oaks, Citrus Heights area. Everything is home-made, Amir, the owner and chef makes everything from scratch, all with no MSG. We have been going in and getting his lunch specials for $12.99. We got the Chicken kabob with rice and grilled tomatoes. The rice is so delicious, buttery, soft, and crunchy. You just have to try it.
I had the lamb shank and rice and it was some of the best I have ever had! The owner and his wife greet you like family and every bite really does taste like home, five stars all around.
