The service is wonderful and friendly, though it can occasionally be a bit slow. The dining area is small and popular, so a reservation is recommended but not required. The food is excellent, with standout dishes including the best gnocchi, braised lamb that falls off the bone, a perfectly executed risotto, and salmon piccata that is to die for. Other menu highlights are butternut squash risotto, lamb shank, salmon with pasta side, and delicious clam chowder. The marinara sauce has a balanced acidity profile, and the pasta maintains proper firmness.
