“Love this place. We just moved to the area and happened to try it. The food is great with all the regular rolls and great specialty ones! The service is quick, kind and always accommodating. We go about twice a month. And it's nice to have the same server, and a place that can be a 30 minute dinner or an hour and a half. Food is fresh and location is quiet with great parking.“

“Silver Sake “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”. This is the go to place for sushi. It’s more than good food. It’s an experience. The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.

“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

“Amazing sushi. Very authentic flavors of fish, uni a sake that is hard to find outside of Japan. I especially loved hamachi crudo, the chu-toro and dry aged white fish Kyrodau. Both mango and crème brule deserts are to die for. Sake selection on point - Dassai, Tenbi, Abe, even spotted Juyondai bottles in the fridge. Someone certainly knows their new age sake here. You must come visit this place if you are tired of chain sushi places like Mikuni’s.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

Came in late Sunday where they had all day happy hour specials. They did have quite a few empty tables but all of them happened to have dirty dishes on them so I did have to wait a little before being seated (10 mins or so). They might have been short staffed this day especially an hour before closing.

Sat at the sushi bar and one of the sushi chefs took my order promptly. The staff here are so sweet (chef and floor waiter) and the rolls were outstanding. Fish was fresh, tempura was crunchy, presentation was beautiful and portions were generous (even with the side ginger!). I’ll be dreaming about these rolls until the next time I’ll be in the area. Even with the wait I was in and out of there within 40 minutes. Definitely worth the stop!“

What truly sets Nara Sushi apart is the owner’s warm and genuine care for the customers. “It's Sushi has easily become one of my go-to AYCE sushi restaurants. The quality of their seafood is outstanding and far exceeds what you would come to expect of an AYCE establishment. The menu is quite extensive and has different options of cooked and raw sushi as well as multiple dishes from the kitchen. The location is quite small so if you're going with a big party I recommend calling ahead. The restaurant parking is quite small but is connected to a bigger shopping plaza so there is a lot of parking available. The menu is split into 3 tiers, menu A, B, and C, with three varying price points which is nice if you dont like raw sushi, you dont have to pay for the nigiri. The sushi itself really highlights the fish quality not so much the rice, the nigiri has a tiny ball of rice only so it's not as filling.“

“I love that Arigato's still has 1/2 price sushi rolls. The sushi is always top notch and super fresh. The tempura Veg was delicious. We walked in to order to go and they had the order done in maybe 10 minutes? Super fast. “I recently dined at this restaurant and came away with a generally positive impression, though there is definitely room for improvement regarding their sushi portions. Right from the start, the overall atmosphere was great; the entire dining area was spotlessly clean, and the service was consistently good and welcoming.

For my meal, I decided to sample a couple of their signature sushi options. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Kamikaze roll. In terms of construction, both rolls suffered from a bit of an imbalance in their ingredients. The Caterpillar roll was filled mostly with cucumber, leaving only very small, sparse bits of eel inside. Similarly, the Kamikaze roll was packed with too much crunchy cucumber, which slightly overwhelmed the spicy tuna mix.

However, despite the rolls being skimped on fish and overloaded with vegetable filler, the quality of the food was still quite high. Every bite was remarkably fresh, clean, and tasty. The flavors are definitely there, and the kitchen clearly uses good components. If the chefs can balance out the ratios to include a bit more seafood and less cucumber, this place would easily earn a top rating from me.“

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!“
