“Food is always so yummy! We love the Midori Ramen. It’s such a unique ramen with pesto in it and the flavor is so good! We also love the Fukumi Ramen. The pork belly has amazing flavor. Also, if you like spicy food, the spicy karaage is a must! We order two orders of it every time now because it’s so yummy. The restaurant is a little small so it’s better for smaller sized groups.“

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“This was my second visit, and the food was just as good as the first time. I ordered the sashimi, oysters, octopus, hand rolls, and edamame. Everything was fresh and delicious, especially the sashimi and oysters. I came with my daughter, and she had a great time too. “Silver Sake “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”. This is the go to place for sushi. It’s more than good food. It’s an experience. The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.

“My boyfriend and I went on a Wednesday. The place was super chic and clean. The music was really good too it was covers of some 90s music which was fire.Our server was sweet and made the environment very warm and welcoming. My boyfriend and I got miso soup cucumber salad for an appetizer which was PHENOMENAL. For our sushi rolls we ordered a dragon roll & a salmon roll (fried) both were really good and gone within 2 seconds. For dessert they have mochi ice cream and I ended up deciding on the mango flavor which was so light and fruity, delicious. My boyfriend and I will definitely be back!!!“

“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

“Delightful little venue. It's an order at the counter, then find a seat venue. They'll bring your food out to you when it's done. They'll also bus the table after you leave. Selection of authentic Japanese food gives you a fair amount of choices. Run by a Japanese family!“

“I visited this place recently and overall had a really good experience. The space is a little small, but the interior and atmosphere made up for it. I especially liked the dim lighting.

The staff seemed genuinely friendly with each other, which says a lot about the place, and they were very pleasant toward us as well. Our waitress did her job well.

For food, I ordered the sesame chicken. The chicken was slightly on the dry side, but I still enjoyed it overall. We also tried the tempura sushi, and I was very satisfied with it.

The prices are quite reasonable for the quality and experience. If I’m being honest, I’d rate this place around 4.8/5. Would I come back? Probably yes“

“Amazing sushi. Very authentic flavors of fish, uni a sake that is hard to find outside of Japan. I especially loved hamachi crudo, the chu-toro and dry aged white fish Kyrodau. Both mango and crème brule deserts are to die for. Sake selection on point - Dassai, Tenbi, Abe, even spotted Juyondai bottles in the fridge. Someone certainly knows their new age sake here. You must come visit this place if you are tired of chain sushi places like Mikuni’s.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

Came in late Sunday where they had all day happy hour specials. They did have quite a few empty tables but all of them happened to have dirty dishes on them so I did have to wait a little before being seated (10 mins or so). They might have been short staffed this day especially an hour before closing.

Sat at the sushi bar and one of the sushi chefs took my order promptly. The staff here are so sweet (chef and floor waiter) and the rolls were outstanding. Fish was fresh, tempura was crunchy, presentation was beautiful and portions were generous (even with the side ginger!). I’ll be dreaming about these rolls until the next time I’ll be in the area. Even with the wait I was in and out of there within 40 minutes. Definitely worth the stop!“

“I love that Arigato's still has 1/2 price sushi rolls. The sushi is always top notch and super fresh. The tempura Veg was delicious. We walked in to order to go and they had the order done in maybe 10 minutes? Super fast. “It's Sushi has easily become one of my go-to AYCE sushi restaurants. The quality of their seafood is outstanding and far exceeds what you would come to expect of an AYCE establishment. The menu is quite extensive and has different options of cooked and raw sushi as well as multiple dishes from the kitchen. The location is quite small so if you're going with a big party I recommend calling ahead. The restaurant parking is quite small but is connected to a bigger shopping plaza so there is a lot of parking available. The menu is split into 3 tiers, menu A, B, and C, with three varying price points which is nice if you dont like raw sushi, you dont have to pay for the nigiri. The sushi itself really highlights the fish quality not so much the rice, the nigiri has a tiny ball of rice only so it's not as filling.“
