Zakuro Reviews
First time here. Sushi were fresh and delicious. We ordered Sunshine and Prime. Salmon teriyaki was cooked to perfection. Pepper Fin pieces were yammy and they were thicker than at other restaurants. Everyone was polite and welcoming. Clean. Definitely coming back! Recommending!
It was nice

Zakuro offers a great meal experience with fresh and good fish, a comfortable location, and good service, although it can get spotty when crowded. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making customers feel at home. Zakuro has quickly become a popular spot for those craving sushi without venturing far. The modern Japanese restaurant features a wide variety of sushi and house rolls, along with an impressive selection of kitchen entrees. The menu showcases a plethora of creative rolls and main courses, ensuring there's always something new to try.
The sushi rolls, including great cooked options, are delicious and beautifully presented. Customers have noted that the food is consistently fresh and flavorful, especially the salmon and Bumblebee. The restaurant’s ambiance resembles traditional Japan, with wood accents and a relaxed vibe. Service is passionate and attentive, with waiters eager to recommend the best choices for each guest. However, the restaurant's popularity can lead to longer wait times, with some customers experiencing waits of about 45 minutes during busy hours. Despite the wait, many believe the sushi is absolutely worth it, particularly the salmon. Some customers have found the Unagi to be bland and of lower quality, but overall, the fish is fresh and tasty. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff is friendly and attentive, checking in often to ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied. In short, Zakuro remains a solid choice for sushi in Lincoln, offering a welcoming vibe and an enjoyable dining experience.
