“Service was ok. The roll we got was very good. Good rice to filling ratio and made well. I enjoyed the mixed tempura as they used interesting vegetables like okra.Tasty, crispy, light batter. Could have been served hotter though. The only thing that was absolutely terrible was the $12 ribeye skewer. Worst I’ve ever tasted. Cold, old, tough, terrible marinade.“

“Food is fantastic! Service is a bit clunky, we didn't get some of our dishes until we were almost ready to go. Atmosphere is a bit open and noisy depending on how many patrons are dining. All in all, strongly suggest you go for the food. You can always get it to go.“

“First of all, the servers were amazing and attentive! Our total cost of 2 people doing the AYCE was around $90, which is fair. I believe it was $37 per person. The food quality was excellent and it wasn’t too busy. We went at 12:30pm on a Saturday.“

“So far, I have tried the following gimbap, spicy pork, beef bulgogi, and the seoul 1979. Didn't like the seuol one - not enough ham it so you cant really taste it. The beef bulgogi is good, but I loved the spicy pork one. Good flavor and has a little kick to it. I also tried the korean corn dog, and it was ok. I didn't like the sausage inside. Service is friendly. They have a lot of different items to try so definitely will be back.
Update: Went back again and I finally tried a different dish which as the chicken kansu curry which was so good. Chicken was super crispy and not dry. Comes with a side of curry, cabbage and rice. All.of ot was yummy!“

“Stopped at this place cause we were looking for Bento boxes. lol. I didn't read the menu prior to stopping. We contemplated leaving cause we weren't sure about the items on the menu. I am happy to report we enjoyed our meal.
Here's what we ordered:
1. Wakame
2. Taco Sake
3. Katsu Don
The taco sake was yummy. The sauce on the taco gave poke vibes but wrapped up in crunchy seaweed that stayed together nicely after each bite. The katsu loss a little of the signature crunch after being covered by all the yummies in the bowl but overall good. Maybe change the plating to layer the chicken on top so it doesn't turn soggy.
Great space inside. Very intimate and the service was nice.“

“Amazing experience at Kiku! We ordered every sushi roll they had and every roll was special and unique in taste! Super delicious and fantastic presentation. Even though the order was big, our order took just 10-15 minutes until they served us all the sushi and at the same time (11 rolls), super impressive! A huge thank you to the chef and the entire staff for such a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This place is a hidden gem! I’ve never ordered a wrong thing here —all of the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. When you order a chef’s choice selection, they will sometimes include real wasabi (along with the regular paste wasabi that is more common at restaurants). The look of the restaurant, as well as the visual presentation of the dishes, are very pretty and photo-worthy. The A5 Miyazaki Wagyu is phenomenal. The paper hotpot was a unique and imaginative experience —no single bite was ever the same, but constantly evolving. Sometimes we want to just have a simple meal to feed ourself, and other times we are lucky enough to have a delicious meal and take part in a creative process. If you enjoy food and art then give this place a try.“

“This is one of the best Teriyaki place in the area! Consider this as a small mom and pop restaurant that gives you generous portion with flavorful taste. My personal favorite is Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo plate. My wife loves sushi so she usually gets Alaska Dream and Americano. We come here at least once a month and never get disappointed!“

“The food left a very positive impression and the portion sizes felt well worth the price. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying, especially the teriyaki chicken, which stood out as one of the best I have had. It is a place I would happily visit again and recommend to anyone nearby.“

“Been eating at Hana Tsubaki for 30 years and it’s consistently fantastic. The sushi is innovative and fresh and the salmon teriyaki is a favorite. Great saki selection as well.“
“Came here like around a month ago and here is my honest experience
Service: The wait times are really long. At the start, I would get my food in around 5-10mins, but then as we ordered more and more food, the wait times get really long. They also forgot to bring our orders in several occasions like I would order sashimi and also a certain roll as well. I understand that they might be forgot one or more things, but at the same time, this happened several times as well. I think the worse part was that the server limited just our table to the amount of sashimi in a AYCE restaurant. I was shocked to see that happening and I was disappointed that they would do that to us.
Food: the food was pretty good and that’s the only thing that I would come for. The presentation of the food is pretty good and there’s several options to choose from
Atmosphere: Pretty small, but not too bad
Overall, I would like to see a change in their customer service since it looks like it feels disorganized. I will change the rating if there are some changes.
Update: came back here today and their service is a lot better for sure. I got my food and service within a reasonable amount of time. definitely will come back again“

“I liked the sushi. The all you can eat menu is good and has a lot of items. I mostly like the shrimp tempura rolls and other sushi is good too. I did feel the sauce on some of the sushi made the sushi taste too sweet but overall a good dining experience. The garlic edamame is awesome, very garlicky and delicious, fried rice and miso soup was good. It's also nice to be able to order half rolls, that way you can try a bunch of different sushi“

“Edit: Updated to 5 stars, I was just hangry. Still love this place and will be back very soon for another Deluxe plate!!!
Love the food, one of my favorite places. But last time I used the online ordering system, it sent my food to the wrong location. I called to ask what happened, but what I was told is that all I could do is come pick up my already cold order. It was good but cold. Ill come back because I like the food, but customer service could use a little work.“

“Good go to place for lunch. People are nice and food is usually served up pretty quickly. Good selection of various Teriyaki dishes. You'll get a good lunch here at a decent price. It's a stop and go kind of place. But if you're hungry it fits the bill.“

“This is my favourite restaurant ever i go here all the time. from what i understand there use to be three restaurants with one owner, one on mack RD and there's one in Stockton city and the one on Kiefer Blvd. The restaurants closed or sold to different owners, the one on Kiefer Blvd is the best restaurant in sacramento i give it 10 out of 10. Best food in town.“

“We were visiting Sacramento for 1 day and saw the reviews for Sushi Cafe - so we tried it out - and we weren't disappointed. The sushi was very good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The only thing that disappointed was the Oyako Don - which was overcooked. All in all - this was a great find.“

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.
The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.
Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!“

“I order online from here several times a month, and it’s consistently great! The food is always ready on time, and the staff are fast, polite, and efficient. The sushi quality is reliable and tastes freshly made every time.
My son is obsessed with the seafood udon—he loves the generous variety of seafood in it. And my daughter can't get enough of the Cherry Blossom roll (honestly, I don’t blame her).
This place has become a go-to for our family sushi nights, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend!“

“Silver Sake “Where Everybody Knows Your Name”. This is the go to place for sushi. It’s more than good food. It’s an experience. The staff from chefs, wait staff, to kitchen staff, greet, engage you with friendly smiles. The food is always amazing my kids enjoy their chef choice (Omakase) rolls. Matter of fact we always leave it up to the chef to make whatever they see fit to serve us. Never been disappointed and always left our appetites pleasantly satisfied. When it’s time to leave, as you walk out the doors, you’re always sent off with “ We’ll See You Tomorrow”. It takes every ounce of willpower to not return the next day.
Silver Sake Carmichael’s Hidden Gem!“
