The sushi was very good, the staff was friendly, and the prices were quite reasonable. The only thing that disappointed was the Oyako Don - which was overcooked. All in all - this was a great find.“

“This place has all you can eat sushi which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about it haha. But they have a lot more than just sushi! They also have cooked foods, appetizers, soups, and all sorts of interesting dishes. And to top it all off, they have a full bar with lots of unique and very affordable drink options! “Came here for the first time and ordered the crazy fries, bulgolgi beef, and tonkatsu special - everything was delicious! The crazy fries were amazing (already half finished in the photo, so a hefty portion size) and the bulgolgi came with pickled radish (not pictured), salad, rice, and pickled cucumbers. Both dishes came with miso soup. Loved the food, and the chef and waitress were both very sweet! Highly recommend!“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

Alexander and Bennette were amazing, guiding me through the new Japanese dishes and giving spot‑on suggestions for adult Japanese drinks. We walked in to order to go and they had the order done in maybe 10 minutes? Super fast. “Came in tonight to celebrate my birthday with my husband and some of my in laws, we ended up ordering 2 orders of pepper fin and a order of spicy garlic edamame to start with waters just that had our waitress confused. And then I got an order of aloha deep fried and a TNT roll also and my husband ordered 2 rolls and 1 of my cousins in laws ordered 3 different things and his wife ordered a roll also and we had 4 sake bombs but I only drank the hot sake. The waitress even though she was super nice didn't seem to keep everything straight and also had a hard time keeping our table ordered straight she forgot about my iced tea for the longest time. An then they couldn't and wouldn't do anything special off my birthday even though we go there a lot and always spend a lot of money there. We got there with our group at a round 5pm tonight, I wanted to come here because of how great our service and food was last time we were in here and everything and we always spend a lot of money when we're here. We also got my cousin in laws into something new the pepper fin they had never had it before and they loved it. The restaurant was clean there was only a few tables that were full when we came in and then after we ordered our food a reservation for 8 + came in and also several other tables as well. But the big thing is that even though our waitress was super nice and everything she couldn't keep everything together and straight and we had to keep asking for things on top of it, the food we all got were good but not as good as last time but I do love the bigger pieces of pepper fin we got this time that was a huge plus for me sense it's my favorite and my husband knows it.“

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

“One of my favorite sushi places in Sacramento! Phenomenal service, great seating, clean environment! Food is excellent. I went with the Fuji roll and mark roll, with miso, and 3 piece nigiri. This was part of the lunch special they have which is priced really well!! A solid consistent place for me, highly recommend. Do not trust the 4.3. This is easily a 4.5+ sushi place imo.“

I was disappointed after I had been going there for a awhile, owners are friendly and the owner is a trained sushi chef if 10 years from Japan and it means you get quality and the amount of rice around a roll is not too much which is how it’s supposed to be, but the last 2 times we didn’t get what we ordered, and we waited 45 min to get the fish collars and we finally left , 2 times we asked about our orders and was so disappointed, this happened twice.
The food is good I don’t recommend going during dinner time. I drive from Auburn so the trip is long, the food it great, the experience at dinner time is not so great.“
