“🙋‍♀️ Hi! I'm Tracy Fig, Mather & Rancho Cordova Realtor and of Korean descent. I Love Teriyaki is OUTSTANDING because it's authentic Korean BBQ, but bistro style in styrofoam To-Go boxes. The food is ready in 10 minutes, or you can call-in an order. I always order the beef teriyaki or the spicy pork cooked well done for a bit of char, which includes a small side salad and Korean-style bean sprouts. The sushi is SENSATIONAL and my sushi chef friend recommended ordering fast-swimming fish. A good roll is the Volcano because it's made of Crab, Avocado, Cucumber Salmon, Spicy Tuna w/Sauce. Cucumber adds a crunchy texture to every roll.“

“Hidden gem alert! 🍣 I’m pretty picky when it comes to sushi, and this place has officially become my new favorite. Every roll was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The cozy atmosphere made the experience even better, and the chef took the time to chat with us, which made it feel so welcoming and personal. “This is one of our go to sushi place in Folsom. Every time we go here it’s a treat. We have a hard time choosing. Their mix fish sushi is a must. Pepper fin tuna is one of the best I ever had. They even serve you fresh fruits at the end.

Mixed fish is GF.“

“This place has all you can eat sushi which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about it haha. But they have a lot more than just sushi! They also have cooked foods, appetizers, soups, and all sorts of interesting dishes. And to top it all off, they have a full bar with lots of unique and very affordable drink options! The service is pretty fast and the fish is actually pretty good for all you can eat. I'd definitely consider coming back again sometime!“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

For a skeleton, the highlight was undoubtedly the marrow-infused broth, which was rich enough to make me almost forget my lack of flesh. It was comforting in a way that transcended the corporeal. Service was friendly, and the staff even chuckled at my bony demeanor, which I took as a compliment. Overall, Umami Ramen provided an experience that was both hearty and hauntingly good. In conclusion, I may not have the capacity to eat in the traditional sense, but I can confidently say this ramen is to die for. We walked in to order to go and they had the order done in maybe 10 minutes? Super fast. “Came in tonight to celebrate my birthday with my husband and some of my in laws, we ended up ordering 2 orders of pepper fin and a order of spicy garlic edamame to start with waters just that had our waitress confused. And then I got an order of aloha deep fried and a TNT roll also and my husband ordered 2 rolls and 1 of my cousins in laws ordered 3 different things and his wife ordered a roll also and we had 4 sake bombs but I only drank the hot sake. The waitress even though she was super nice didn't seem to keep everything straight and also had a hard time keeping our table ordered straight she forgot about my iced tea for the longest time. An then they couldn't and wouldn't do anything special off my birthday even though we go there a lot and always spend a lot of money there. We got there with our group at a round 5pm tonight, I wanted to come here because of how great our service and food was last time we were in here and everything and we always spend a lot of money when we're here. We also got my cousin in laws into something new the pepper fin they had never had it before and they loved it. The restaurant was clean there was only a few tables that were full when we came in and then after we ordered our food a reservation for 8 + came in and also several other tables as well. But the big thing is that even though our waitress was super nice and everything she couldn't keep everything together and straight and we had to keep asking for things on top of it, the food we all got were good but not as good as last time but I do love the bigger pieces of pepper fin we got this time that was a huge plus for me sense it's my favorite and my husband knows it.“

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

“Ate in and the food was decent. Got a to go order for my family member and it has zero sauce and was obviously rushed and thrown together lazily. The to-go should at least resemble the dine in food. The exact same roll ended up looking like crap and had no sauce at all. What a bummer..when you pay a premium for sushi you should get decent sushi. This was crap and I can't believe they served it to us after we had just spent a bunch of money eating in. We won't be back. If getting to go, check your food. They do not care about the customer and will sneak awful rolls into your bag without care.“

“We were such a big group that we took over 2 cooking table stove tops. When the cooks performed their cooking show, it was great! Big flames and throwing bits of food in the air and us trying to catch it with our open mouths was incredibly fun. We had a few kids under 10 and they REALLY loved it. “Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.

Whether it’s a casual lunch or a post-shift sushi fix, Mizuki is always my go-to. Can’t recommend it enough!“
