“Aiko Sushi is one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Ranch Cordova. The Sashimi and rolls are delicious, and the bento boxes are yummy and generous.

The employees at Aiko Sushi work hard to ensure that you enjoy the food and their service. The dining room is big, and I like the distance between the tables. The parking lot is clean and safe.

Parking: Easy parking! Many parking spaces are available when I'm there.

“The owner is very attentive and friendly, service was amazing. They have a cozy vibe, and the sushi was AMAZING. The housewife roll is 10/10! They can light a birthday candle on top of a cheesecake for birthdays, so definitely recommend going here for that special celebration.

“I had sushi 2x today from two different places. I found this place on the second go around, and I think it was even more delicious than the first place.

I had the yellowtail, salmon, and tuna nigiri as well as the miso soup, and I definitely recommend. Everything tasted fresh, there was intentional presentation even for takeout (cute little flower and sliced lemons added), and the front desk woman was very kind and welcoming. Definitely worth checking out if you’re interested!“

“I have been to plenty of Korean BBQ places in Sacramento and Roseville, and I think this may be one of my new favorites.
We only waited a few minutes to get a table, which already had small plates laid out and a tray heating up before we sat down.
You can order food through a QR code, and it comes super fast through a trolley system similar to an AYCE sushi place.
The meat selection and appetizers were quite good, through each of the 3 tiers of the menu which even included Cajun spices.“

“This was my very first visit to "I love Teriyaki". I had planned on having something else for lunch but, it was closed. I walked into the restaurant and was greeted by a young man behind the counter. I thought it was nice to see the menu very large on the wall. Easy for someone who wants to take-out. The establishment is nice and was very clean. I don't think I would have stayed because it was very hot inside. Almost as hot as it was outside. I think this restaurant needs better ventilation. That was my only issue. I ordered the Folsom Lake. It was VERY GOOD and the presentation was also very good. I will be going back to get this sushi roll again and getting it for take-out. Enjoy!“

“My boyfriend and I now frequent Sushi Star since discovering the place a couple of months ago! It’s always very clean. A very pleasant atmosphere. Our waitress has always been Yi. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Went here for Valentine’s Day with my partner and we really enjoyed it here! It’s be very affordable (especially both of us l l working at minimum wage jobs) and the quality of the food was amazing! The service was pretty good but there were times the manager would be a bit hard on our server but I didn’t mind it too much. She was probably stressed out but she did a great job! Getting better! The water we had was good. Not a fancy sushi place, so the decor is not outstanding.

I had a bento box and was delicious. I didn't order sushi because of the change in chef, but this was what I hoped.

Husband had soup and enjoyed it. He is a picky eater, so he wasn't super impressed. He does always enjoy the sea steak though.“

The environment was a bit strange, almost like a food court experience because the area is shared with another eatery establishment which was kinda of confusing when we entered. It seems a lot of regular customers just go up to the counter and grab a menu and seat themselves unlike how we stood there waiting to be seated, it's not very clear what you're supposed to do.
Other than that the food was quite good and the service was prompt. The menu wasn't overzealous but they had a good amount of choices to choose from.“

Had lunch here with the husband and we were both extremely satisfied with our meals. We ordered the chu toro carpaccio, house ramen, chicken katsu, fire dragon roll and double toro roll. The fish was fresh, the katsu was banging and the ramen hit the spot. I wished the toro was a little more fatty and my husband was hoping the ramen would be spicer, but both were still good. Come for lunch, which was when we came, to get their lunch special. A specialized lunch menu that includes 2 appetizers (smaller portion than regular), a main dish or roll, and a drink.

The service was great so we will definitely be back. They do offer omakase that requires advanced reservations, so hopefully we’ll get to try this out soon.“

“First time here. Tried the all you can eat for $38 and thought that was a bit pricey but wanted to try something new. Confused why the rice had a purple tint to it. But all the rolls we tried were good. Everything tasted fresh and not over cooked. Really enjoyed the ebi and baked lobster roll was our favorite. Wanted to order more but our waiter wasn't really coming to our table had us waiting to order more. Store was clean and not busy when we went st lunch time. Will return

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“
