“Solid food with a wide variety of menu items, casual vibe, and excellent service. Our waitress was so invested in our comfort the entire time. She was always refilling waters, getting us more napkins or small plates or ginger, and asking if we needed anything. We were a huge group and she was MOVING to accommodate all of us- it was really nice to feel so valued! Would definitely come back just for the service, but the food was also good!“

“This is one of our go to sushi place in Folsom. Every time we go here it’s a treat. We have a hard time choosing. Their mix fish sushi is a must. Pepper fin tuna is one of the best I ever had. They even serve you fresh fruits at the end.

Mixed fish is GF.“

“I rarely feel compelled to write a review, but this place is a hidden gem. Roseville has plenty of excellent sushi, but sometimes a tucked away hole in the wall, with consistently great food, reasonable prices, and servers who treat you like family, is exactly what hits the spot.

It is easy to drive past without ever knowing it is there, but well worth finding. The rolls are excellent, the udon should not be missed, and there is a little treasure on the small plates menu called dragon balls. Highly recommended.“

I think booths along the walls and some partitions and maybe some tropical plants would go a long way to making a more enjoyable dinning experience. But again, the food was good as was the service. “Stopped in after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Fish and chicken strips with chips (#5) was a perfect portion with 3 chicken strips and 1 pretty good sized piece of fish. The batter on the fish was light and crispy and the chicken was just the way I like it — a little bit crunchy, hot, and served with cold ranch. Another patron ordered his “usual” — the Spicy Day and Lincoln rolls, both of which looked good enough that I’ve already decided that’s what I’ll try next time I come in. “Came in tonight to celebrate my birthday with my husband and some of my in laws, we ended up ordering 2 orders of pepper fin and a order of spicy garlic edamame to start with waters just that had our waitress confused. And then I got an order of aloha deep fried and a TNT roll also and my husband ordered 2 rolls and 1 of my cousins in laws ordered 3 different things and his wife ordered a roll also and we had 4 sake bombs but I only drank the hot sake. The waitress even though she was super nice didn't seem to keep everything straight and also had a hard time keeping our table ordered straight she forgot about my iced tea for the longest time. An then they couldn't and wouldn't do anything special off my birthday even though we go there a lot and always spend a lot of money there. We got there with our group at a round 5pm tonight, I wanted to come here because of how great our service and food was last time we were in here and everything and we always spend a lot of money when we're here. We also got my cousin in laws into something new the pepper fin they had never had it before and they loved it. The restaurant was clean there was only a few tables that were full when we came in and then after we ordered our food a reservation for 8 + came in and also several other tables as well. But the big thing is that even though our waitress was super nice and everything she couldn't keep everything together and straight and we had to keep asking for things on top of it, the food we all got were good but not as good as last time but I do love the bigger pieces of pepper fin we got this time that was a huge plus for me sense it's my favorite and my husband knows it.“

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

I was disappointed after I had been going there for a awhile, owners are friendly and the owner is a trained sushi chef if 10 years from Japan and it means you get quality and the amount of rice around a roll is not too much which is how it’s supposed to be, but the last 2 times we didn’t get what we ordered, and we waited 45 min to get the fish collars and we finally left , 2 times we asked about our orders and was so disappointed, this happened twice.
The food is good I don’t recommend going during dinner time. I drive from Auburn so the trip is long, the food it great, the experience at dinner time is not so great.“
