“They have a variety of dishes from sushi to noodles. I had Jajamyeong noodles. Good portion. They were ok. Will come back to try the other dishes. Side dish of Kimchi was delicious. Atmosphere and customer service Top Notch. Chef came out and asked all parties, how was our dish.“

“My wife and I began coming to Oki at the end of 2023 - Marlon and his team continue to provide a welcoming atmosphere with a delicious mix of Japanese cuisine. The sashimi and nigiri is always presented well with generous cuts, and my wife loves the assortment of Maki sushi. We've sampled a number of other dishes as well - be it Udon, tempura or teriyaki dishes - all of it satisfying and delicious.

This has become one of the few places we frequent when we're not back over at our second home in Japan - if that's not enough of a compliment, I don't know what is! Will definitely be back soon!“

She was always refilling waters, getting us more napkins or small plates or ginger, and asking if we needed anything. We were a huge group and she was MOVING to accommodate all of us- it was really nice to feel so valued! Would definitely come back just for the service, but the food was also good!“

“First of all, the servers were amazing and attentive! Our total cost of 2 people doing the AYCE was around $90, which is fair. I believe it was $37 per person. The food quality was excellent and it wasn’t too busy. We went at 12:30pm on a Saturday.“

“Hokkaido Sushi is my go-to lunch spot, and for good reason. I’m here at least once a week, but often times more. I order the bento box every single time (usually switching up the main), and it’s always excellent; as a creature of habit, I have no issues with ordering the same thing every week, especially when the food is so tasty! The ingredients are consistently fresh and flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can tell everything is very thought out and intentional, from the presentation to the balance of flavors. On top of that, the service is wonderful—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every visit. I genuinely love this place and always look forward to coming back. Highly recommend!“

“Service was ok. The roll we got was very good. Good rice to filling ratio and made well. I enjoyed the mixed tempura as they used interesting vegetables like okra.Tasty, crispy, light batter. Could have been served hotter though. The only thing that was absolutely terrible was the $12 ribeye skewer. Worst I’ve ever tasted. Cold, old, tough, terrible marinade.“

“This place is such an amazing local gem! Its very casual atmosphere is welcoming, and gives off half Japanese bodega/restaurant vibes, as they have both imported goods and yummy eats. The staff is so friendly and honestly made it feel like family serving us. I felt like we were actually eating in a local restaurant in HI, their family is originally from HI, so man the local grindz and chill vibe was spot on. I had the sesame chicken bento box and tempura shrimp à la carte, hubby had a sushi roll with tempura shrimp, cream cheese, avocado, and salmon on top. Everything was really good, very fresh and so ono/oishii. Loved that the tempura and sesame chicken were battered not panko crusted, although they do have panko crusted things on the menu that I’m sure are super yummy. And we had to try their HI snow, which is actually legit HI shave ice, not shaved ice, actually soft shave ice. They even import their syrups from the islands. So so amazing. Thanks for the warm welcome for our first visit Kristy, hope I got your name right. Everyone should check out this place which has been around for nearly 31 years!! “Amazing experience at Kiku! We ordered every sushi roll they had and every roll was special and unique in taste! Super delicious and fantastic presentation. Even though the order was big, our order took just 10-15 minutes until they served us all the sushi and at the same time (11 rolls), super impressive! A huge thank you to the chef and the entire staff for such a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back! I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“This is one of the best Teriyaki place in the area! Consider this as a small mom and pop restaurant that gives you generous portion with flavorful taste. My personal favorite is Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo plate. My wife loves sushi so she usually gets Alaska Dream and Americano. We come here at least once a month and never get disappointed!“

“Great ramen place at the convenient location, easy to access with plenty of parking. Food is good, but the ramen noodle in the normal size maybe smaller than expected, it has bunch of bean sprouts inside, but the meat and egg is in good portion. So I would say get extra noodle on your order if you come for ramen.“

“I liked the sushi. The all you can eat menu is good and has a lot of items. I mostly like the shrimp tempura rolls and other sushi is good too. I did feel the sauce on some of the sushi made the sushi taste too sweet but overall a good dining experience. The garlic edamame is awesome, very garlicky and delicious, fried rice and miso soup was good. It's also nice to be able to order half rolls, that way you can try a bunch of different sushi“

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. “First-time customer at this location. Party of 2 on a Saturday did not have a long wait. They had options to sit at the sushi bar or table. I love that the restaurant has a whole menu dedicated to gluten-free options. The fact that we have more than 2 options to eat. We chose 2 rolls and they did not disappoint. The cucumber on the outside was delicious and clean and crunchy. Will definitely return to try more rolls.“
