My wife and I were impressed by the quality of the food. I'd highly recommend this place! We ordered the 911 and a Lion King. Both were exceptional. The price is about mid ranged.

The sushi rolls are big and have a lot of depth for flavor. The 911 has a good kick of spice and sauce. The Lion King was nice and hot, it came out on a sushi place.

“I commend Roku for their excellent food quality. The Tempura is perfect. Authentic Tempura as ypu can get. It is obvious they change their tempura frying oil, and it doesn't have that motor oil soaked look. The pop corn shrimp special is da bomb. Like walnut shrimp but with pine nuts. You can enjoy it, the butter lettuce it came with. The steamed rice is also excellent and goes well with any entree on the menu. Price is on the high side, but no regrets as you get excellent tasty food. Clean and modern vibes with friendly it staff. I just wish their bento box options would offer more combinations. Overall, excellent Japanese neighborhood restaurant.“

“This is such a hidden gem. Cam, the owner, along with his wife and a small team helpful employees made our night. The omakase is awesome and the quality of the fish was outstanding. The care put into our food and the explanation of each dish helped me not only walk away extremely satisfied, but also with a better knowledge of Japanese cuisine. “The Restraunt name caught my attention, and it was just a 20-minute drive from wherewe were, so we decided to make the trip for brunch with my foodie partner before heading back home on a 1 hour 48 minute drive back. #FoodieRoadTrip

For drinks, we opted for yuzu pop and Oongolo tea, both from cans and bottles, which were great options with delightful flavors.

As for the entrees, I ordered the Tori Miso Ramen, and my daughter chose the Tonkotsu Soy Ramen. While I didn't try hers, mine was spot on. The broth, simmered for 72 hours, was rich and full of robust flavors, served piping hot with perfectly cooked noodles. The combination of half egg and pork complemented each other beautifully.

Service was 99.9% perfect. The server felt the need to correct my pronunciation when I ordered "Misō," though a touch more friendliness would have made it flawless.

“This is a casual place with a casual atmosphere. Had an early dinner mid-week in the summer. But that's the thing with Ramen it's good anytime. Had the Soy Tonkotsu Ramen. Very good soup base with pork belly, and seasoned egg. What was surprising was the spicy paste and black garlic oil are consider extras and their is a charge. Most restaurants you'll have a some condiments on the table, salt, and pepper. And in most Asian restaurants you'll have some spicy chili, some kind of oil, vinegar and soy, but here their is none. Because I'm so cheap this review is based on only the Soy Tonkotsu Ramen as served. Yep you guessed it needed some heat. But in all fairness the the noodles were good, egg cooked just right and the two slices of pork belly were just right. You can have extra of anything but their is a charge. But double noodle is free, if you order more than double you'll be charged. I do recommend and would go back but I'll sneak in some chili oil the next time I visit. Service was good and plenty of parking and didn't wait long between ordering and being served.

“It was our first time trying this place, so we ordered a lot (we always order a lot when we try a new place). Thai chicken was a bit dry, but spicy pork was really good. Bibimbap was very nice, but they forgot to give us gochujang (Korean red pepper paste), so we have to use our own. Vegitable croquettes were very good, my favorite style! (My mom used to make me this kind of croquettes when I was kid ?) super friendly service and good food.“

While visiting Folsom I stumbled upon this gem of a place. I ordered a rice teriyaki dish with tofu and vegetables.
It was excellent!! Real tofu not the spongy kind. The portion was a good size. It was so tasty and light. Not full of oil. The owner, I'm assuming, was friendly and had lots of pride on his excellent dish. I ordered a to go chicken noodle dish for my son. He also raved about how good it was. My new favorite place to go to.“

“I really like this place. But it really depends on what you get. The servings are huge and service is great. The sesame chicken is a bust. The teriyaki chicken is ok. The pork noodle bowl is really the golden ticket and we come here weekly for it. The tempura is also clutch. Any bad reviews are because the person just didn’t order the right thing. We have had some inconsistency with the pork noodle bowl which we have chalked up to different cooks. But other than that it’s pretty tasty.“

“I've been to this restaurant for years; it is a nice thing to be able to say that despite living just due north of Roseville, which is filled to the brim with amazing places to eat, here in Lincoln, like 5 minutes from my house is the best Japanese Restaurant in Northern California. “This is a fun place to go, especially with a group for Hibachi. They are quick, funny and the food is awesome. If you don't want to sit around the hibachi, you can also just order off the menu. My 8 year old really enjoyed his dinner done on the grill. They even "thew" in a few surprises!“

I went with 3 people +1 child - and their offerings did not disappoint. Everything we tried was delish! Portions were perfect.

This last time I went was by far my favorite experience, they’re making the plates look more and more beautiful, and the taste of the rolls is phenomenal!!! Nevertheless, despite initial appearances, the place felt almost like a hole In a wall type of establishment, the inside almost feel similar to a home as it is family owned and feels rather close to actual local establishments in Japan. 50% off sushi sounds too good to be true but the sushi is actually rather decent, though if you aren't careful you'd find yourself still paying for a hefty price (considering today's economy and all).
