“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

I already trusted the SAKE brand from the location in Chico and I am happy to say that this place surpassed the service there and has become my new favorite sushi place in the Sacramento area. If you are looking for AYCE sushi where the rolls are fresh and they haven't been sitting out for who knows how long I would highly recommend you give this place a shot. Black dragon roll was my fave.“

Came in late Sunday where they had all day happy hour specials. They did have quite a few empty tables but all of them happened to have dirty dishes on them so I did have to wait a little before being seated (10 mins or so). They might have been short staffed this day especially an hour before closing.

Sat at the sushi bar and one of the sushi chefs took my order promptly. The staff here are so sweet (chef and floor waiter) and the rolls were outstanding. Fish was fresh, tempura was crunchy, presentation was beautiful and portions were generous (even with the side ginger!). I’ll be dreaming about these rolls until the next time I’ll be in the area. Even with the wait I was in and out of there within 40 minutes. Definitely worth the stop!“

“🙋‍♀️ Hi! I'm Tracy Fig, Mather & Rancho Cordova Realtor and of Korean descent. I Love Teriyaki is OUTSTANDING because it's authentic Korean BBQ, but bistro style in styrofoam To-Go boxes. The food is ready in 10 minutes, or you can call-in an order. I always order the beef teriyaki or the spicy pork cooked well done for a bit of char, which includes a small side salad and Korean-style bean sprouts. The sushi is SENSATIONAL and my sushi chef friend recommended ordering fast-swimming fish. A good roll is the Volcano because it's made of Crab, Avocado, Cucumber Salmon, Spicy Tuna w/Sauce. Cucumber adds a crunchy texture to every roll.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

“A MUST VISIT! The service was delightful, so nice, helpful and just generally pleasant. The food was being delicious! All types of Japanese cuisine so there is something for everyone. Kid friendly as well! The portions are very satisfying, one roll, hand roll, and a small cup of miso was plenty for me, the big kiddo was in line with his dragon roll (pictured) and the beautiful food art on it, as well as a chicken noodle plate. “Food is always so yummy! We love the Midori Ramen. It’s such a unique ramen with pesto in it and the flavor is so good! We also love the Fukumi Ramen. The pork belly has amazing flavor. Also, if you like spicy food, the spicy karaage is a must! We order two orders of it every time now because it’s so yummy. The restaurant is a little small so it’s better for smaller sized groups.“

“I've been coming here for over 16 yrs. I'll be very honest the only thing I order is the Bibimbap #17, no spicy. I just love the sesame sesame seed oil. The vegetables are gently sauteed in the sesame seed oil, chicken is char grilled for the prefect touch of smoke..they have some traditional items that look fresh and delicious.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.
