“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

I already trusted the SAKE brand from the location in Chico and I am happy to say that this place surpassed the service there and has become my new favorite sushi place in the Sacramento area. If you are looking for AYCE sushi where the rolls are fresh and they haven't been sitting out for who knows how long I would highly recommend you give this place a shot. I recently tried Young’s Teriyaki in Rancho Cordova, and it completely blew me away. The food here is genuinely top-chef level quality.

I ordered both the regular Teriyaki Bowl and the Spicy Chicken Bowl. Both were absolutely outstanding. The chicken was perfectly grilled, incredibly tender, and not dried out at all. The classic teriyaki sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and savory without being overwhelming. The spicy chicken had a fantastic kick to it that kept me coming back for more.The portions are generous, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and the flavors are spot on. If you are in the area and craving high-quality teriyaki, this is the absolute best spot in town. I will definitely be a regular customer here!“

“Delicious food! We shared the Chicken teriyaki bento plate and it was so much delicious fresh food. The terriyaki sauce was my favorite I’ve ever had. The chicken has a great char and the mushrooms in the teriyaki were a welcome surprise. The tempura was airy and light and had some fun additions like oyster mushrooms and kabocha squash. We also ordered two rolls, the Lion King and the So Fine. The fish was fresh and the sauces on top were amazing. We’re looking forward to coming back again soon.“

“🙋‍♀️ Hi! I'm Tracy Fig, Mather & Rancho Cordova Realtor and of Korean descent. I Love Teriyaki is OUTSTANDING because it's authentic Korean BBQ, but bistro style in styrofoam To-Go boxes. The food is ready in 10 minutes, or you can call-in an order. I always order the beef teriyaki or the spicy pork cooked well done for a bit of char, which includes a small side salad and Korean-style bean sprouts. The sushi is SENSATIONAL and my sushi chef friend recommended ordering fast-swimming fish. A good roll is the Volcano because it's made of Crab, Avocado, Cucumber Salmon, Spicy Tuna w/Sauce. Cucumber adds a crunchy texture to every roll.“

“Family friendly, dog friendly restaurant run by Dan and his family. Cozy and welcoming. The Unagi skillet is to die for - well balanced flavor and generous amount of unagi. The Okonomiyaki was super yummy. Love love the geso and karagee. Perfectly seasoned each bite and crispy. Our dog even got his own chef made food. Definitely one of the best brunch in Sactown. “We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

“Nara Sushi is a spacious Japanese restaurant in Folsom offering sushi, bento boxes, and other traditional dishes. During our visit for a late lunch, we were seated immediately and found the restaurant comfortable and easygoing. The dining room includes tables, booths, counter seating, and tablets at each table for electronic ordering.

We started with hot sake and gyoza before moving on to our main dishes. Our group ordered a nigiri and tempura bento box, a salmon teriyaki bento box, and a Spicy Yellowtail Roll. Everything was well prepared, portions were good, and everyone enjoyed their meal.

“Food is always so yummy! We love the Midori Ramen. It’s such a unique ramen with pesto in it and the flavor is so good! We also love the Fukumi Ramen. The pork belly has amazing flavor. Also, if you like spicy food, the spicy karaage is a must! We order two orders of it every time now because it’s so yummy. The restaurant is a little small so it’s better for smaller sized groups.“

“We were such a big group that we took over 2 cooking table stove tops. When the cooks performed their cooking show, it was great! Big flames and throwing bits of food in the air and us trying to catch it with our open mouths was incredibly fun. We had a few kids under 10 and they REALLY loved it. The vegetables are gently sauteed in the sesame seed oil, chicken is char grilled for the prefect touch of smoke..they have some traditional items that look fresh and delicious.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Good decent food and good service. This place have a drive thru to order or you can just dine in. Got myself the combo beef & chicken, eggroll, rice, veggies, and small drink. Good portion amount. Somehow, I like the eggrolls here. Only veggies, yet it's crunchy and flavorful (includes a sweet dipping sauce). The beef seem like it was pre-cooked and then heated up. It tasted ok in a pinch if you need beef to mix it up with other items. The chicken was freshly grilled, tender, not dry, and delicious ...highly recommended. Skip the beef, instead get the chicken!“

“All you eat shushi buffet, order abd they’ll make fresh and can also order from the menu as well. Prices vary from lunch to dinner was $27, plus drinks and takeout box was $6 time a tiny box that only fits 8 shushi. Order digitally from the table. This place is always packed, arrive early. Ice cream is one scoop per bowl, so order two for each person. Same with appetizers 2 pieces per order, so order more than one! Not bad for the prices. If you love shushi this is the place for you!“

Food was average, service was good our waitress was polite, professional and courteous. The atmosphere was pleasant, somewhat moody with black furniture, black ceilings and walls with pops of white and red tables. Plenty of televisions throughout the restaurant six in total.

“Mizuki in Citrus Heights is hands down my favorite spots for sushi in Sacramento. It’s become a go-to for our work (Deacon) crew for years; we’re here so often that the owner, Ella, knows us all by name. That personal touch makes every visit feel special.

The food is consistently amazing. The Red Dragon roll is my favorite with jalapeño peppers also it’s just packs the perfect kick. The Citrus Roll is fresh, flavorful, and a perfect signature touch. And don’t even get me started on the gyoza—easily the best in town. Pam seared to perfection on the outside, flavorful inside, and always served piping hot.
