Love this spot. Incredible! Great ambiance and great cocktails! Jimmy and Carrie do a great job of keeping the place in order for service and great specials! Mine and my wife’s fav spot for raw oysters and seeing our buddy Cary! Come here for service and they actually care!

Miyagi | Bar & Sushi is the best Japanese restaurant in Sacramento. The food blows every other local competitor out of the water, offering consistent, repetitive greatness. The food is always exceptional, with quality and portion value that impresses. Specific meals mentioned include beef teriyaki, which felt like receiving two whole steaks, teriyaki chicken with white rice and cucumber sunomono, and sesame chicken with sautéed broccoli. The house fried rice and shrimp yakisoba are also perfectly cooked and really good.
The service is amazing. Staff are always polite, articulate, and attentive. A server named Gwen recommends amazing rolls and provides great service, knowing drink and food orders before being asked. She makes the experience fun and positive, anticipating customer needs. Other staff, including Stephen, Alex, and sushi chefs, contribute to the attentive atmosphere. The restaurant recently renovated for an awesome atmosphere with a brand new dining room. There is a lack of an online ordering system, so orders must be placed at the counter or by phone. Miyagi is located next to Grebitus Jewelers and beneath Lyon Realty at Lyon Village Center. Highly recommended.
