“The food was genuinely impressive, and it’s clear this family has strong experience in the restaurant business. The recipes were flavorful, well-prepared, and reasonably priced.

Unfortunately, the location and ambiance do not match the quality of the food. The surrounding area and overall setting are not particularly inviting for family gatherings, and access to the parking lot can be difficult.

That said, the quality and taste of the food are enough to bring me back again.“

“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“Burning Barrel Brewing Co. is easily one of the most exciting breweries I’ve visited—and I’ve visited a lot. The tap list? Insane. Over 20 beers on rotation, from hazy IPAs and crisp pilsners to wild smoothie sours and barrel-aged stouts. I tried a blueberry banana cheesecake sour that tasted like it came straight from a dessert menu. Meanwhile, the “Side Pull Pillows” Czech pilsner was perfectly clean and balanced—proof they do the classics just as well as the experimental. The space is laid-back and welcoming. Plenty of seating both inside and out, misters on the patio for hot days, and dog-friendly! The staff was super knowledgeable and happy to offer recommendations based on what I liked. You can really tell the team here cares about quality and innovation. Also, the service was fast, friendly, and genuinely passionate about beer—which makes a huge difference. The family and I were coming from Folsom headed to Elk Grove and decided to find a location along the way and found this restaurant on Yelp to try out coz we were craving for Korean food. We ordered the special soft tofu soup with mixed beef and seafood the beef Bulgogi and also the Bibimbap with beef. Everything was so good the side dishes were delicious and the service was excellent. We enjoyed our entire meal! We will definitely come back here again if we are ever in the area and I highly recommend you tried if it comes up on your search for Korean food.“

I don’t normally eat out due to rising costs and ability to make great food at home but thought I’d look for a nice local spot to try out. I was not disappointed at all after trying their Specialty Omelette with biscuits and gravy. Friendly staff and excellent food. Will definitely recommend to others and will be back. “GREAT fish and chips, don't judge a book by its cover. A handful of 4-person booths inside to enjoy your meal at; tables are clean and nowhere near as sticky as other fry shops I've been to.

Very reasonably priced and the pieces of fish are HUGE (like 9 inches of cod each). Family sized dinners are a good value--we got the 6-piece Rowboat--and they have Mug root beer in the fountain! (Pepsi products) The hushpuppies had good flavor and were not soggy or chewy. Fried oysters were huge and also good.

The house white sauce is more garlic cream than tartar sauce. There was a very tomato-forward slightly chunky spicy mock cocktail sauce that was also pleasant. Coleslaw was just shredded cabbage with some light creamy dressing, which was enough to offset the fried everything.

Overall one of my favorite stops on this side of town!“

“I had the Drunken Noodles medium spicy with tofu. I added a bit more heat with the spice tray. They did not have the sliced pickled jalapenos (mini) in the spice tray. The dish is very tasty with veggies (string beans, tomatoes, onions, red bell peppers) mixed among the noodles. This place is worth looking into if you're in town looking for Thai food.“

“I don't understand anyone saying the food is bland. I've been going here for approximately 25 years and it's amazing how consistent the food has been over that long period of time. Everything I've tried has been very flavorful and delicious and well-seasoned, and again, CONSISTENT.

There's only so much you can do with Spanish rice and refried beans, so those are never going to wow anyone, but they have as much flavor as you can expect without totally changing them. Their salsa is delicious and consistent and well-seasoned. I like that it is blended well and not super chunky.

They do not have, nor ever had hard liquor, so the margaritas are wine margaritas. You can't judge them against real margaritas, so you have to appreciate them for what they are. That's why I normally just enjoy a couple bottles of Corona with my meal.

Someone else complained about their prices, but compared to other Mexican food places, and taking portion sizes into consideration, their prices are actually quite reasonable. Their prices are so reasonable that I don't even mind ordering from Doordash sometimes.“
