“I don't understand anyone saying the food is bland. I've been going here for approximately 25 years and it's amazing how consistent the food has been over that long period of time. Everything I've tried has been very flavorful and delicious and well-seasoned, and again, CONSISTENT.
There's only so much you can do with Spanish rice and refried beans, so those are never going to wow anyone, but they have as much flavor as you can expect without totally changing them. Their salsa is delicious and consistent and well-seasoned. I like that it is blended well and not super chunky.
They do not have, nor ever had hard liquor, so the margaritas are wine margaritas. You can't judge them against real margaritas, so you have to appreciate them for what they are. That's why I normally just enjoy a couple bottles of Corona with my meal.
Someone else complained about their prices, but compared to other Mexican food places, and taking portion sizes into consideration, their prices are actually quite reasonable. Their prices are so reasonable that I don't even mind ordering from Doordash sometimes.“

“Best Adalbertos location. #24 breakfast burrito, extra bacon. Best tortillas for burritos. Go inside for unlimited very fresh salsa bar. I grew up coming here and still visit now as an adult. Dependable. Best 24hr option in the area. Life long fan!“

“The Menudo was Fresh And the hand made tortillas made this day the best!!!
Menudo for me is a specialty item that I hold close to my heart and the mailed it!! Along with their self service salsa bar my dining experience and food was superb. The best and most authentic Menudo, in my opinion, you'll find in the Sacramento area. Try it on a Sunday or Saturday and find out. Also their Mojarr Frita al la Mexicana is fabulous 😍. Get some.“
