Check out our list of the best Mexican restaurants in Folsom.
“My husband and I love trying new places, especially Mexican restaurants. The inside is interesting with bamboo decor but that didn't take away from how good the food and service were. We came in on a Saturday after and it was pretty busy but we're greatly right away and seated with chips and salsa. We ordered a steak burrito, 2 street tacos and a chicken enchilada and they all were delicious. We also tried a margarita which was just ok but was also only $6.Our server was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. She even noticed we didn't eat the burrito we ordered and asked us if everything was ok, which it was, we just ordered it to take home to eat for dinner.“
“Lots of parking around the building. There's indoor seating as well as a covered patio with heating when the weather calls for it. We were able to seat ourselves in a booth right away in a Sunday afternoon. Horchata - 7 - A bit sweet and less cinnamon than we like but it's definitely in there. Very drinkable Chips and Salsa - 6 - Can't beat free but the salsa just wasn't very good. The chips were decent but undersalted. Flautas with chicken and shredded beef - 10 - Best item they sell. Light crunch with perfectly cooked chicken and shredded beef. Enmoladas - 10 - The mole was AMAZING. Rich in flavor but not too sweet. Perfect compliment to the chicken enchiladas. Chile verde - 9 - Excellent flavor and high quality meat but could use a touch more spice. New Mexico enchiladas -8 - Excellent enchilada sauce but I felt the egg just overwhelmed the dish. This makes me want to try enchiladas here. Pollo Asado - 6 - The chicken didn't offer much flavor. I would t order this again. It was a healthy plate though! Flan - 8 - I thought the flan was a little thin but the caramel sauce was perfectly executed. I like my flan a but more eggy/custardy. This was an excellent place to get sundown Mexican food. I've forgotten how good the food is here and vow to back to better navigate the menu. The lunch specials look attractive so I'll give that a shot next!“
“The food was phenomenal. We got asada tacos and the flavor was outstanding. The staff was more than nice and constantly available and very very nice. They had lots of swating indoor and out. The chip and salsa bar was clean and delicious. We will be back.“
“Another very nice experience at Zocalos. We are regulars here and the staff is always very pleasant to us. The food was excellent tonight as I tried the Salmon bowl. Very healthy and tasty dish. Our server Jenner was attentive and accommodating. Finally another shout out to Josh for making us feel welcome on every visit ?“
“We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The employees were very polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very clean. I am likely to return.Edit: We have returned a few times now. The food is still delicious, the employees are still polite, and the restaurant is still clean.“
“Never been inside. We ususlly order online on doordash and pick up in the drive-through. The grilled chicken quesadilla and chips are our go to. The grilled jalapeños and onions are usually spicier than expected. The cheese sauce is just like processed movie theater nacho cheese. The staff are usually very friendly. Their daily specials are nice but not available when you order online. The burritos are very long here.“
“PROS: interior is modern and cleanStaff is very friendly and attentiveFood is fire even if my picture isn’t that good.CONS: prices online aren’t accurate. Everything is like $2 more. Thanks Joe. Be aware.Horchata is gritty and sandy. It reminds me of the protein shakes they gave me when I was hospitalized.I lost my keys there. Not their fault. I’m not sure if I lost them or if it’s some sort of memory hole caused by my treatments I’ve received. Either way, if you find a black key to a Porsche; it is mine.“
“Food was good. Tasty enough.Burrito was large. I'd order it again. There was a charge for chips and salsa, but they were very generous with giving second and third servings of chips and salsa.Margarita was miniature and not that good.Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options. Don't know what, Im Not a vegetarian.Parking: In a large strip mall, so plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: Saw plenty of kids. Seemed kid friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair could enter without much difficulty.“
“Lolita's great little Mexican restaurant. Has a variety of specialty dishes. One of the few places that have " flour chips", a must try for anyone that hasn't had them. Chicken Fajitas, Fish Tacos and Taco Salads super yummy with left overs to always take home.Parking: Parking in front of building.Kid-friendliness: friendly kid atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Parking and wheelchair access“

“A taco cart in Folsom? Now that's commitment right there. This taco cart is boldly located in the parking lot of the shell gas station at the corner of folsom and blue ravine. This is not your typical taco corner but Guero's commands respect and our attention!“
“Amazing seafood burrito and salad ?We have got the Salmon Burrito several times and this is one of the best locations.Border burrito is also perfect.I was upset they don't have chopped jalapeños like the other locations in Sacramento.“
“We’ve been going to Jimboy’s for over 30 years and unfortunately haven’t liked some of the new menu items (please bring back the original Super Burrito!) but we love this location. Still great ground beef tacos, bean burritos, and taco salad. The nicest staff too!“
“We used the drive-thru. The food was excellent. I've never seen a restaurant put parmesan on the taco shells. I do this at home. This made the tacos taste even better. The proportions of the food was just right. I loved the small salad, the pico de Gallo was fresh.“
“So, with the advent of Amazon Prime special deals, we have availed ourselves of the organic produce at Whole Foods. Their selection is generally more generous than other stores, and if what you want happens to be one of the Prime deals, the special prices are a good bargain. Regular priced items seem to be essentially similar to other markets.“
“OMG!, The only place to get the best Mexican food ever! I search lots of places looking for Mexican Rice and beans and never can find good authentic rice and beans. Look no further Best Ever! The service was so amazing I had to ask for there names (Zosimo & Carol) they treated us like family and we felt it. Everything was fresh and delicious and we loved every bite! We're definitely coming back! What made it so special was that day was my 40th Birthday Thank you! ?❤️ “
