They use natural ingredients and don't rely on MSG to create flavorful meals. I would highly recommend trying them out for take-out or dine-in. They have a casual dining area but are also excellent for a quick take-out meal during the week.“

“This place definitely needs some love and a face lift! Food is good, but its shining star is a waitress named Brittney. We come in on Sundays and see her almost every week. She always has a huge smile on her face, always seems to be in great mood and friendly! We always get great service from her even when she is busy.“

“We tried this place for the first time this week. My wife got a salad with chicken and I got an enchiladas plate. The food was better than expected, cooked well, good temperature. I was especially impressed with the roasted vegetables in my wife’s salad, the quality of the chicken, and the spicy green sauce on my enchilada. Our server (Camille) was especially enthusiastic and helpful.“

“I'd give It a 4.5 stars. Excellent staff, friendly and accommodating. Clean and a great atmosphere. Didn't sit at the bar area so I can't say much about it, but it was nice and they had the finals on so maybe next time. Food was great, amazing crab cakes. Reason for the 4.5 was that my main dish was lacking some sauce so a little dry towards the end, but flavors were great. I'd recommend.“

I can’t say how refreshing it is to be able to eat clean healthy Asian cuisine. The owner is Bill and I’ve met him twice now. He’s passionate about his restaurants, yes I said restaurants plural. He let me know there’s one in Eldorado Hills and Folsom as well as this one I’m reviewing in Citrus Heights on Sunrise. It’s beautiful, clean, and the food is so very delicious! For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. “Stopped by Tugboat Fish & Chips and everything was sooo good. The fish was fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The fries were top tier, the coleslaw was super fresh and crunchy, and the prawns were honestly to die for. You can tell the food is made fresh and with care. Definitely coming back!“

“Wow wow wow!!! The fish and chips here are delicious!!! My husband and I ran in right before closing and the fish was so fresh and the batter was so crispy! My husband grew up in Washington eating fish and chips at Iver’s and he said this is the closest he’s ever had to their fish and chips. The owners are so sweet and hooked up us with a couple extra pieces since they were closing in a few minutes. Tugboat Fish and Chips is becoming a staple in our household!

“The only complaint I had was they don’t have a condiment bar! You have to ask for lemon, catsup, or even malt vinegar! All those things come in small quantities, except for the lemon!“

“The best little hole-in-the wall Oaxaqueno (Oaxacan) Mexican restaurant! Traditional dishes are served here with beautiful presentation. The most delicious mole roja! They offer many authentic specialties straight from Oaxaca including Tlayudas! They even offer dishes with chapulines (grasshoppers). I did not try them though.

The waitress put up with my terrible Spanish when I told her I like to practice. She was cheerful and attentive. The restaurant is casual. They offer a comfortably air conditioned, screened patio. l will be back to eat my way through their extensive menu! What are you waiting for? Go now!“

I live in vallejo and the nearest poke one for me is in benicia… which cost me $20 all the time.. whenever I am near I always come to this place. this one is a good price and the portion fill me up so much 100% would recommend if you are looking to get filled up. “Our favorite Chinese restaurant. Recommended a few years ago by a Chinese friend. Worth the drive from Roseville. Never disappointed... except once. We didn't think about it being closed on Monday! We had to find another restaurant for dinner that night.“

“This was our first time to try Flemings. We went there to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had the most amazing experience. Mingo was our server and he did an exceptional job. He was very attentive and knew everything about every menu item. Staff was quick to bring our menu items to our table and pick up our used plates. “Ordered the #4 fish, prawns, and chips. Generous serving of all items and came with three sauces: tarter, cocktail, and malt vinegar. Quality was pretty standard but freshly made and crispy.

Vibe is modest and old school with fish and oceanic decor. The maps on the tables are cool too. Service is kind and quick. Only took about 10 minutes. Went in about half hour before closing so it was to-go only.“

“I've been visiting Mikuni locations since 1998 - I'm old enough to remember when there was a salad bar with orange jello at the Hazel Ave. location.
This new one is probably the best I've been to. The service was very professional, the food was just that little bit better that I'm used to, with some welcome touches - a tiny little swirl of Mayonnaise on my Bento box was a delight. Also the Karaage chicken was floured, rather than battered which was a novelty. Just the fact that they set out a decent amount of Sushi ginger meant that I didnt have to ask for it.
I still would have liked the complementary miso bowl but you can't have everything.
My spouse liked her Teriyaki Salmon too.
The EDH location is lovely - next time I think we'll eat outside.

“This place is our go to since moving to the area 3 years ago. I feel confident in saying that this place is great and I recommend it. It is only to go, no dining in. The service is always super friendly and fast. The portions are large! Favorites are the orange chicken, tomato beef chow mein, honey walnut shrimp, house fried rice and brocolli beef. Yum yum! “GREAT fish and chips, don't judge a book by its cover. A handful of 4-person booths inside to enjoy your meal at; tables are clean and nowhere near as sticky as other fry shops I've been to.

Very reasonably priced and the pieces of fish are HUGE (like 9 inches of cod each). Family sized dinners are a good value--we got the 6-piece Rowboat--and they have Mug root beer in the fountain! (Pepsi products) The hushpuppies had good flavor and were not soggy or chewy. Fried oysters were huge and also good.

The house white sauce is more garlic cream than tartar sauce. There was a very tomato-forward slightly chunky spicy mock cocktail sauce that was also pleasant. Coleslaw was just shredded cabbage with some light creamy dressing, which was enough to offset the fried everything.

Overall one of my favorite stops on this side of town!“

“Regular customer for ten years rotating between different locations. I just wish the cowboy Ribeye was more consistent. Sometimes is 10/10 sometimes it’s 5/10.

Also, I’ve seen chefs smoking cigarettes at this location. and walking right in. Didn’t see them go to the restroom to wash hands so I don’t know if they did in the kitchen.“
