“I had a fantastic experience at this Mediterranean restaurant. Excellent food, friendly service, and a lovely location with outdoor seating to enjoy the picturesque view of Folsom Auburn Road. They offer various drink options, and the outdoor umbrella and tables add to the dining experience. The Falafel was amazing, with a crispy exterior and a delicious, tender interior. The combination of meat, rice, and salad was delightful, closely resembling the Persian specialty featuring meat marinated with delectable Mediterranean spices. I think the hummus was homemade, but anyway, it was delicious. Overall, it's a very pleasant and relaxing place.“
“We had a great meal at Lazy Dog! The food and service were 10 stars! Emma our serve was amazing. She was very sweet, helpful and happy! Such a rare combonation these days!Thank you Emma for your awesome attitude!???We also wanted to mention and thank Matt the manager. He came to our table and welcomed us to the restaurant. He comped us a yummy basket of homemade garlic potatoe chips for being new to the restaurant! Yum!Such a nice touch! So appreciated! Our dog Doc had a great time too!“
“Teaspoon is amazing! The tea and ingredients are so fresh and the employees are so helpful. Haley was amazing in giving me recommendations and so patient when helping me. One night i came in almost 5 min before closing and she still made my drink for me! Thank you Haley!“
“We ordered custom cakes here previously and it's so good! Not too sweet and the cake was very creamy and light. Great place to order cakes for birthday, showers, anniversary, or any special occasion. All staff members are very friendly and welcoming!“
“One thing about me, is I love a good diner. I stumbled upon Mel’s Diner during my visit to Sacramento, I knew I had found something special. The atmosphere of the diner was welcoming. The menu boasted an array of delectable dishes. The excellent food was complemented by the value for money, making every bite not just delicious but also economical.Mel’s Diner is not just a place to eat; it’s a place to be embraced by the local culture and cuisine. Whether you’re a visitor or a local, Mel’s is a must-visit spot that promises a memorable meal every time.“
“This was my second visit. The place is very casual and strictly a brew pub. The only food available was from a third party. It's pizza on Monday. I tried both of their stouts. The lightweight at 4.8% and the 90 weight at 12%. I prefer the 90 weight but that's just me. Both beers were quite drinkable. I came down to visit with friends. The front room was about 2/3 full, but still quiet enough to have a good conversation. There is plenty of parking and the staff is quite friendly.“
“The staff and owners are good people. Excellent customer service, good selection of micro brews on tap, and authentic recipes. For those that aren't big on Thai food they have variety of wings, hella types fries garlic, bulgogi, Cajun, etc. Definitely recommend this little hidden gem in Folsom.Vegetarian options: Curries, noodles papaya salad, tofu larb.“
“Lots of parking around the building. There's indoor seating as well as a covered patio with heating when the weather calls for it. We were able to seat ourselves in a booth right away in a Sunday afternoon. Horchata - 7 - A bit sweet and less cinnamon than we like but it's definitely in there. Very drinkable Chips and Salsa - 6 - Can't beat free but the salsa just wasn't very good. The chips were decent but undersalted. Flautas with chicken and shredded beef - 10 - Best item they sell. Light crunch with perfectly cooked chicken and shredded beef. Enmoladas - 10 - The mole was AMAZING. Rich in flavor but not too sweet. Perfect compliment to the chicken enchiladas. Chile verde - 9 - Excellent flavor and high quality meat but could use a touch more spice. New Mexico enchiladas -8 - Excellent enchilada sauce but I felt the egg just overwhelmed the dish. This makes me want to try enchiladas here. Pollo Asado - 6 - The chicken didn't offer much flavor. I would t order this again. It was a healthy plate though! Flan - 8 - I thought the flan was a little thin but the caramel sauce was perfectly executed. I like my flan a but more eggy/custardy. This was an excellent place to get sundown Mexican food. I've forgotten how good the food is here and vow to back to better navigate the menu. The lunch specials look attractive so I'll give that a shot next!“
“I am guessing the hype is real- this place is great! Loved the parm fries, and the actual flavor of the patty is excellent. I've never been happier to drive past chick fil a and stop before in n out. Whenever i crave a real good cheesy burger, this is the place. best place in Folsom hands down.“
“I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. Thanks Kim and David for another awesome experience last night, and we will see the Riley's crew again soon!Ps. The fried bologne sandwich is also one that holds a special place in my heart...“
“Their Pollen in Love cocktail was really good. One of the bartenders also made me an excellent Last Word and even gave me a small straight pour of some green chartreuse because I mentioned I never had the opportunity to try that liqueur before. The bartenders here are very clearly talented professionals and they have a great liquor selection.“
“Been coming here since 2007 (on and off due to moving to Natomas). The food is as good if not better now than it was then.. I got the dinner special for 1.. The wonton soup is delicious, I've always got the Mongolian beef and I substitute the pork fried rice for chicken fried rice. ? ? This place really doesn't get enough credit for how good it is.. Plus we got 5 star service.“
“Cute and cozy coffee shop with an outdoor patio. I suggest earbuds if wanting to read or work, music inside is a bit loud.Had the breakfast bowl w/ avocado and americano (~$20 w/tip). Lots of avocado, one egg, potatoes, bacon and bell peppers. If hungry add on xtra eggs or meat.“
“This is my second review of this place. We went for Happy Hour. We opted to sit indoors. The place was not too crowded and service was prompt. All dishes we ordered were very good and tasty. We enjoyed the steak and potatoes which was juicy and delicious. The Champagne cocktail from the Happy Hour menu was very tasty.“
“Highly recommend this spot for those who want to stay healthy but have a big sweet tooth! The service is great, requested my shake to be extra thick and the guy who made it did not let me down! Environment is welcoming but the shake itself is worth the drive from Roseville!“
“THAT DAM PLACE is a fantastic Cafe. Small but impressive. Starting with the waitress, Creta, sorry about the spelling, a most impressive personality. She related her experiences and the history of the Cafe. In discussing the history, I found that an old friend of mine was a partner of the Cafe. We had fun reminiscing and catching up with our current life. Knowing her love of Folsom and its history, I am positive that she will relate the good, bad and probably the ugly. Getting to the Cafe, I ordered the Cali King. Grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon & pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. I choose side tossed salad, which was delicious. My friend tried the Bob Dole Burgah. Grilled 6oz burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and Korean BBQ glazed pineapple slices on a brioche bun. She also got a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked.Sorry, sometimes I forget pictures because of hunger. Next time and there will definitely be a next time.A fantastic combination of food and friendship.“
“Dayton is the BEST employee. She is so kind and sweet. I was sitting in the lobby working for a couple hours and she even came up to me to check if I wanted anything additional. WOW! You just don’t get that kind of service these days. She needs to be a manager!“
“Love the BLT's here! Add avocado and it's addictive! From time to time they have "Day Old" bread that's $1, and sometimes it's FREE! Take it home and put it in the freezer for later, it's better than any store bought loaves.“
“Great wine from the South Fork of the Trinity River at the southern tip of Trinity County, in the Hyampom Valley. But the tasting room is now on Sutter Street in Folsom! The owner, grower, and wine maker is Ray Merlo, who we have known for years, as happy customers and wine club members. Ray is a perfect gentlemen to all, IMHO, as we've always observed. All the wines are superb, too!“
“It a really quick and tasty shop that me and my family go to when we are hungry has never been treated wrong or felt embarrassed at this location ( I have social anxiety) also they are actively help the community by donating All the time I only have one bad experience but they apologized and forgave me for the bad experience and gave me a gift card.“
“As a German and Starbucks-influenced coffee drinker, some of my American friends suggested I try Peet's Coffee. This chain is supposed to be better... at least in line with Starbucks' throne.I was in Folsom / CA, had time and... lo and behold... a Peet's Coffee branch in front of me. Yippeeh... into it.The guest area is a little smaller... cute. The rest is based on the green Statbucks brand...Coffee heavenly (2 large lattes), with a bacon/cheese sandwich. Great... Bought a cold brewed cream coffee and an orange juice to take away (also delicious). Conclusion ...No mistake going to Peet's Coffee... friendly staff, a little more familiar than Starbucks. The Americans know coffee... and the atmosphere around it.Whether green or red... delicious and recommended.Parking: Small mall with its own parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: ... wheelchairs are also very welcome. No input problems...“
“We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. The employees were very polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very clean. I am likely to return.Edit: We have returned a few times now. The food is still delicious, the employees are still polite, and the restaurant is still clean.“
“My favorite Dutch Bros! The lines can be long but don't they go fast so don't be intimidated. My latest amazing experience here was last week. My puppy was intently watching the car ahead of us and seen the Broista give the dog in that car a big "Hello Cutie!!" And a pup cup. He was excited and couldn't wait for his turn. When I pulled up it was a different broista, who was super nice but did not do the big hello to him. I explained what my doggy was so excited for and she happily obliged and said a big hello to him and gave him his pup cup. Definitely go the extra mile for service and I appreciate that!“
“Great place for breakfast (especially if you love crepes). The cinnamon roll is my all-time favorite! It's flakey like a croissant & is topped with a light cream cheese frosting. They serve Kingdom coffee, so don't skip the latte.“
“Kerri was amazing and your entire staff were super hospitable.Thank you for hosting my husbands birthday party. We will come back again and bring more friends!Vegetarian options: Just want to recommend on the pork tacos and nachos. The meat was just a little too overcooked. It was good but could be better.“
“We're super glad we found this place! We have enjoyed eating here several times in a short period. Customer service is wonderful! The menu is extensive and impressive! They have daily specials, happy hour specials, weekend specials, and lunch specials! There's an adorable covered and cozy outdoor seating area if you don't want to eat indoors!“
“I've been seeing this place on Instagram and thought I would give it a try!!! The owner did give me a coupon to use as well. I got the Kokomo clean energy drink and the toffee explosion smoothie. Both were delicious, and both came in a big cup. You can get one for $9 or both for $16. I got both so I could get the full experience, as advised by Chris, the owner. He also gave me a sample of the zombie attack to try before deciding. The drinks are toddler approved!! My daughter stole my smoothie, lol. He has amazing customer service and hospitality. He gave me good information about the products and my hands were full with my daughter, so he helped walk me to my car with my drinks. Definitely go check them out. The smoothie is great for a sweet tooth“
“Our server was polite and very accommodating. Food was fabulous. There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our food and felt we had more than enough food for the cost. Our server helped us find a more secluded table so we could visit and hear each other“
“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“
“This place reminds me of Machetes Tacos in Denver - unusual but fabulous tacos made from interesting choices of fillings. The short rib tacos are my favorite choice. Service can be good or just fair. The servers are nice, but occasionally forgetful, even at slow times.“
“Dani served us and she was absolutely simply amazing. She even let me charge my phone!! She makes the best espresso martinis, I would highly recommend. She was a hoot and half to hangout with. I would recommend this bar to anyone, you will have a great time!!“
“This morning my hubby decided to treat us with a reward he earned on the their rewards app. I am halfway through my pregnancy and still crave their 16 once Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Smoothie! We took our superfood smoothies to a local park to sip while walked our goldendoodle Midnight. This was my first time trying this location and it was very peanut buttery, chocolatey and had a very distinct banana flavor. 4/5 stars for consistency and flavor. Happy New Year 2023!“
“Everything we've tried here has been great, but my favorites are the Asian noodle salad and the club sandwich on a croissant. Always have to get a chocolate chip cookie too. The staff is always friendly and try to be as quick as they can but sometimes it's a bit busy and they're a bit overwhelmed. Depending on who put together your to go order if you're picking up food, you may always want to check it. Some of the employees are good about checking to make sure you have the right items and a complete order but I've had a couple of instances where I had to question things were missing. It's not intentional, just gets overlooked.. Despite that one challenge I definitely recommend this place at least for takeout“
“I am delightfully surprised to find this Kitchen at Barnes and Noble. I had the Caesar salad with Salmon, it was delicious but pricey. The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. I think I will try brunch next time, the quality is worth the wait.Parking: Parking garage across the street“
“We came by for UFC fight night after eyeing this location for a long time. TLDR: Fairly good food with a few sour apples, service was strange, lots of events! Our server (who I guess was Magby from the receipt) was interesting to say the least. He was at our table often, but he didn’t seem very friendly / personable. Maybe an off night? Hard to tell. There were Bacardi representatives giving out free shots of their mango Bacardi when the fights began. Hey free alcohol is free alcohol - props to HOM for getting events like that set up.Fries seem like a place that could use some help. Our garlic fries were very soggy, and our friend’s sweet potato fries came out burnt first. Once replaced, the new sweet potato fries weren’t very good at all. The deep fried Oreos were also really bad. Soggy, no crunch and had very little flavor - disappointing as a dessert. Our grilled steak sandwich was the highlight of the night. It was amazing, lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Would recommend 1000/10. Drinks were also top notch, very refreshing and with a fair pour on the alcohol.Table chips and green salsa 4/5Cool cucumber mule 5/5Guava mojito 4.5/5 (could use more guava)Ahi poke nachos 3.5/5Bacardi mango 4/5 (from Bacardi reps - not part of HOM)Grilled steak sandwich 5/5with garlic fries 2/5 (soggy)House of mules burgerwith sweet potato fries (fries burnt first, then eh after replaced) 4/5Deep fried Oreo 1.5/5 (No good)For local reviews or travel content you can find us on Instagram @sunsetourist“
“First nice day 3-8-24 we walked with our dog and enjoyed sitting on the patio. La Calle is dog friendly and the food and service was great. Very nice atmosphere sitting outside under umbrellas with our ?. We went during happy hour and the drinks were delicious.Parking: Great location with easy access from anywhere.Kid-friendliness: Not only kid friendly but dog friendly on the huge patio.Wheelchair accessibility: Very convenient access.“
“I had a fantastic time exploring the beer collection, and the atmosphere was vibrant and contemporary. The "Macro Trio" was a standout experience that I highly recommend trying. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit. I look forward to returning soon to discover more gems from their menu.“
“Enjoying a hot latte on the sunny patio even though it’s 50° outside. This a popular rest stop for bikers enjoying a well-deserved break from their road trip. Coffee of course, but also a great menu of sandwiches and other items. Friendly atmosphere and good vibes.“
“it has become way to expensive for us , our salaries haven't changed , we used to come at least twice a month , now maybe once a month . fun place but too pricey for what you get . used to hear it compared to gayle's in capitola , california ,maybe.... it's a stretch but the prices shouldnt be like capitola . also outdoor patio heaters would be nice .“
“Love the outdoor live music! Even in the Winter, it's been nice spending time on the fully covered patio with heat lamps and fireplace tables - they even have cozy blankets if you want. Did not feel rushed to give up a table/ felt comfortable staying a couple hours for the music and a non rushed meal.“
“This restaurant is equipped to seat large groups of more than 10. Our party of 3 was seated in a comfortable and roomy booth on Easter Sunday. The huevos rancheros is fantastic. We were attended by 2 waite staff, 2 managers and the Easter Bunny. Great place for brunch.“
“Came here for Monday morning brunch and ordered the classic Eggs Benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly medium and the hollandaise sauce was very flavorful. You could taste all the ingredients (eggs, sauce, bacon) with each bite, and were a great blend together. The hashbrowns were also cooked perfectly as well. It had a nice crispy crunchy outside layer just how I like them. The server was very polite and attentive. Despite being understaffed for the amount of people here on a Monday morning, he was still able to get to every table promptly. Recommend coming for brunch and will be back to try other items on the menu.“
“Tried Poke for the first time at Poke Noke. To say that I'm a fan of Poke - probably not so much, but the food was good. Service was great as well, but I do think this place is overpriced. I paid almost $50 for two bowls and a kombucha. Kombucha cup was $7 and was filled half way only. Other than that, it is a good place for Poke if you're a fan of it.“
“Had the most fantastic time here. Breakfast was wonderful, and the selection of Mimosas was out of this world. Was able to bring my pups on the patio, which were able to have their own menu for a fresh meal as well. They loved every bite of thier meal too.“
“Good is always good here. Always. You order at the counter and they deliver the food to your table. So, how can "service" get five stars? The entire staff is friendly, helpful, competent and genuinely nice people, that's how. There's nothing wrong with the atmosphere, but one goes for the great food, interesting menu and good people.“
“Amazing flavors for sure. This place has gotten way better. The vinaigrette is to die for and the fish tacos---omgoshhh. Tri tip platter was fantastic too. All the sauces they have are tasty and fun to try. Love this place. Lots of drinks to choose from also at the soda machine area. Place is really clean and they get your food out quick. Nice tables to people watch out the big windows.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
“Amazing seafood burrito and salad ?We have got the Salmon Burrito several times and this is one of the best locations.Border burrito is also perfect.I was upset they don't have chopped jalapeños like the other locations in Sacramento.“
“This is definitely a hidden gem in Folsom. I've never had Burmese food before and was pleasantly surprised at how tasty the dishes were. Prices and portion sizes are good. The food is also super fresh and flavorful. So I'll be going here again for sure.“
