As a German and Starbucks-influenced coffee drinker, some of my American friends suggested I try Peet's Coffee.This chain is supposed to be better... at least in line with Starbucks' throne.I was in Folsom / CA, had time and... lo and behold... a Peet's Coffee branch in front of me. You're a clown if you get caught at a Starbucks if Peet's is in town. Real ingredients, beautiful customization, the staff is elite here. Love it, I never go out to these sorts of places but Peet's got me hooked on making sure I eat Breakfast on busy days.

Love this Peets. Used to frequent other locations, but the staff here are amazing. Especially the ones on shift today 3/6/24 around 3pm--good atmosphere and helps me get out of my writing funk.
