“I ordered the chicken pho at Lasam Pho in Citrus Heights and it was absolutely outstanding. I’m used to getting overcooked, dry chicken at most places, but theirs was the complete opposite, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. It paired perfectly with their richly seasoned broth, which really brought the whole dish together. You can tell they put care into the quality of their ingredients. Definitely one of the best chicken pho experiences I’ve had.“

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!“

“Atmosphere is a lil off putting when u walk in but the service was solid the country fried steak was hand breaded and the country gravy was full of flavor the waffle was a little to fluffy for my preference I prefer a crunchy waffle but overall a good experience food wise and service . I always forget the pics before we start eating sorry...“

First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. “There are many weekend menudos from Greater Sacramento to my home in El Dorado county, but Hermanos is the clear #1. See the chile de arbol oil tucked in the back left? It elevates the broth to a whole new level. Once you’ve had theirs, you’ll be ruined on menudos elsewhere. I make this stuff at home, and when I’m too lazy - this is my go-to. Also, you won’t find tripa or buche tacos that are better in a restaurant for 100 miles“

“The food was really good. Busy place, seat yourself, help yourself to drinks and salsas. Staff was friendly and would go get whatever you needed but you have to go to them and ask or stop them as they pass. They bring you your food, it came out pretty quickly as well.“

“Country Waffles is our breakfast place to go. The food is good. The Servers are really nice, and the customers are also reallly nice. Open every day from 7 am to 2 pm, it is a great place for families or seniors. Everyone is welcome, and if you haven't tried it, you should. They have GREAT Senior specials that include your drink.“

There were lots of staff tending the food and bussing the tables. The food was pretty good! I'd go back for sure. Lots of American options for people who don't like the international offerings.“
