“This hole-in-the wall is a real gem 💎 of a find! The exterior is nondescript, just another part of a strip mall, the windows display a typical neon “pho” soup bowl sign. The interior sports 2 flat screens at the front, the walls are adorned with photos of landscapes and, you guessed it! Koi 🎏The pho is exceptional, the broth is consistently tasty and complex. There are other offerings not usually found in run-of-the-mill pho shops: giant meatball in savory sauce served with a baguette 🥖; shrimp egg rolls, and the enormous ribs that come with the special pho of the house! The only mark I can fault here is during rush hour, this place gets pretty busy. So get here early, else you’ll be queuing! Or worse, they’ll run out of soup 🍜! Which reminds me of that Seinfeld episode: No soup for you! 🤣🤫😱😂“

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. Whether you want savory or sweet there's something for everyone!“

“There are many weekend menudos from Greater Sacramento to my home in El Dorado county, but Hermanos is the clear #1. See the chile de arbol oil tucked in the back left? It elevates the broth to a whole new level. Once you’ve had theirs, you’ll be ruined on menudos elsewhere. I make this stuff at home, and when I’m too lazy - this is my go-to. “Atmosphere is a lil off putting when u walk in but the service was solid the country fried steak was hand breaded and the country gravy was full of flavor the waffle was a little to fluffy for my preference I prefer a crunchy waffle but overall a good experience food wise and service . First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!“

“Oh Yummy Buffet and Grill, you come to me as a long lost friend whom I once picked apples with in papa’s orchard. I haven’t been here since I was a kid so to come back and find the food and service is still great, yeah, all you other buffets should be scared.

“I stopped in to have breakfast and kill some time on my way to the dentist to have my teeth cleaned. I loved this breakfast restaurant. Very friendly prompt service. The restaurant is very clean inside.

If you love chicken fried steak and gravy, this is the restaurant for you.😋 The breakfast special was chicken fried steak and eggs, you can choose 2 pancakes or 1/2 waffle (I took the waffle, since the name was Country Waffles). The waffle was very good. Not heavy, soggy, or rubbery. The lunch special is a country fried steak and gravy sandwich, finally the dinner special is country fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes.

If I had a disappointment it was the gravy. It was made with breakfast sausages cut into pieces, not sautéed ground pork. 🤐

“This is a nice place for fast food type Mexican food. It is not a place where someone takes your order from the table. Instead, you order your food and they bring it to you. That was ok, but once you place your order, that's the last contact you will have with anyone working there. The food is decent. Slightly overpriced. Margaritas are tiny. Just wanted to experience something different, it was OK at best. Nice ambiance, airy setting. Nothing bad to say, but not a restaurant with waiters or waitresses taking your orders.“

When, I quickly stop in for my mid day double-shot expresso the bathrooms are always nice and clean and well stocked with all the essentials.
