The food is better when the Elder Chef is in. The ketchup was fermented and exploded on me and they put it back on the table after rinsing it off and replacing my food. So I switched it with a fresh ketchup bottle from another table.
Country Waffles is our breakfast place to go. The food is good. The Servers are really nice, and the customers are also reallly nice. Open every day from 7 am to 2 pm, it is a great place for families or seniors. Everyone is welcome, and if you haven't tried it, you should. They have GREAT Senior specials that include your drink.
Perhaps my expectations are too high, but the Irish Benedict I had with potatoes was short of awful, sorry. Everything tasted like it had been frozen and defrosted. Not a good experience for us, other than the great service. Oh, and the coffee was pretty good too.
