“I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. The decor is collectable fancy rabbit? comprised of rabbits attired in many fancy outfits. The server was polite, accurate and fun. “THAT DAM PLACE is a fantastic Cafe. Small but impressive. Starting with the waitress, Creta, sorry about the spelling, a most impressive personality. She related her experiences and the history of the Cafe. In discussing the history, I found that an old friend of mine was a partner of the Cafe. We had fun reminiscing and catching up with our current life. Knowing her love of Folsom and its history, I am positive that she will relate the good, bad and probably the ugly. Getting to the Cafe, I ordered the Cali King. Grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon & pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. I choose side tossed salad, which was delicious. My friend tried the Bob Dole Burgah. Grilled 6oz burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and Korean BBQ glazed pineapple slices on a brioche bun. She also got a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked.Sorry, sometimes I forget pictures because of hunger. Next time and there will definitely be a next time.A fantastic combination of food and friendship.“
“Land Ocean is a nice date night, special occasion, or just looking for a good plate for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It gets busy in the evenings, especially on weekends. If you're looking for a nice date night or special day a reservation is recommended. We usually get the land ocean with king crab legs (they crack them for you, which is a plus), the calamari is okay (not as breaded and crisp as I'd like), the large side salad is a good split plate option, and the burgers for lunch are delicious, the brunch veggie skillet is delicious, and it is children friendly here.“

“We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“

“This is a great place to go get a good burger and hang out. It's a very relaxed place, even when the downtown is bussing with people. The service is great, even when they're busy. My husband and I didn't feel well after ordering their Brussels sprout appetizer, despite it being delicious, but everything else I have had there, be it salads, burgers, or tacos, have been superb. I have never ordered anything there that I didn't like! I highly recommend their mushroom burger, and the tater tots are the best I have ever had!“
