“Loved the ambience and everything this place has to offer. This is an old school saloon type diner. Staff is mostly young but very well behaved and courteous. We opted for outdoor seating as it was a warm day. Seating is great and generally quiet although they are right on the street. Food & drinks were good. I ordered the burger and the bacon was nice & thick cut. My wife's shrimp tacos wasn't skimped on. The tri-tip nachos were delicious. Overall loved the experience and will definitely visit again.“
“What a wonderful pub. Their food was spot on for what you would hope to get. The seasoning was on point, maybe a little too much salt on the onion rings but its bar food, it's supposed to make you want to drink more beer. Their fish tacos as very tasty as well. “My bestie and I decided to eat here one night, you had to go up to the bar to order, get your number and find a table. Watched a few children stand up at the register waiting for drinks which I think shouldn't have happened since bar was right there too. The band playing was pretty good, food was good, the atmosphere was ok but you had people screaming over the music, laughing extremely loud and overall it was an ok experience not the greatest.“

My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy and although I'm not a fan it was delicious! Obviously known for their Mimosas there are so many choices! I had the grapefruit one and then a mint one. Amazing!!“
“Fantastic experience here. Went for a family memorial event and had a private room. The room and view were fantastic. Service was fantastic and attentive from start to finish. Food and wine were amazing. It's a pricier place but the quality experience and food is well worth even more. They even went above and beyond and made customs desert menus in honor of our passed family member. Would highly recommend for any special occasion or fancy dinner.“
“My third or fourth visit to Hawks. I've never been disappointed, and tonight was a memorable experience. Party of four for early dinner. The mushroom soup amuse bouche was wonderful. White Fog Farm lettuce salad was (reportedly) excellent. The Caesar salad was tasty but the creamy dressing revealed it as an imitation Caesar (in my opinion); the saving grace was the white anchovy on top. (I am a Caesar salad purist and I am frequently unimpressed; woe is me.). Entrées: Duck--excellent! Short ribs--excellent! Steelhead--excellent! Lamb loin--excellent and more! Wine: Fair--a Tuscan red, good but overpriced for the quality. Dessert: We have had the "beignets" before--these are tasty enough but they are NOT in any sense beignets--just sugary doughnut holes with caramel sauce on the side. What they called an entremet might, in a pinch, be considered a "deconstructed" entremet--but an entremet it was not. The parts were, however, very good, if little more than a small mound of fond chocolate with cocoa nibs and a bit of white filling. We were very pleased with the unexpected serving of two extra dessert items, quartets of little chocolate dollops on shortbread and Sangria-infused gel cubes--very playful and delightful. Decent late-bottled vintage port and good tea and coffee. The service was spot on--absolutely top-notch. We were VERY pleased with service and atmosphere. Despite the scattered culinary contradictions, I say : Go to Hawks--time well spent.“

Well, having been to Manderes more than a few times now I can confirm that the food and service is consistently great. “Tried this place for breakfast on a rainy Sunday. The food was very enjoyable with reasonable portion sizes (more than you should probably eat in one sitting but not a crazy amount of food). Their staff was definitely busy as well. They were still kind and attentive enough. Late Sunday morning breakfast/brunch in Rocklin is quite busy (generally speaking) and this place is no exception. We arrived at what felt like, right before the rush. Because of the rain, their patio seating was not open and so this probably helps explain why they were packed already. My one complaint is that the hosting area and getting your name on a list for a table was a bit confusing. This wasn't just me and I observed several customer who had the same confusion. Since there is not really a waiting area for seats, people were standing in and around the door (because they didn't want to stand outside, understandbly). I don't know how they could solve this problem since it just seems like they are already doing everything they can with the space.Food was well seasoned and the breakfast potatoes are really yummy. I always have a tendency to order things that are on the menu but then customize them pretty wildly. Our server didn't even bat an eye and was able to handle my request with ease. Omlettes are excellent choices here and while my wife and I tend to enjoy savory breakfasts more than sweet, we did observe other patrons who were enjoying sweet dishes as well. For our respective breakfasts, the food here tastes less greasy (generally speaking) than a lot of other 'hearty breakfast diner style restaurants. For us, that is definitely appreciated because you feel like you can eat a properly seasoned meal and still have energy to do things for the rest of the day.Overall, we enjoyed our meal and experience and I think Hot Off the Griddle will make it into our rotation of breakfast haunts in Rocklin. Just beat the Sunday morning rush.“

They are adjacent to a nursery and a pretty incredible koi pond. So, if you do not have a reservation and there is a wait...it goes by pretty quickly as you meander through the grounds. And even after, there are shops and a wine tasting option on the premises! “I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. “They have always had good donuts, that's not debatable. This past weekend was my daughter's 4th birthday party. She asked for a donut themed birthday. I called the day before and asked for 2 dozen donuts. The woman I talked to was amazing. She was so excited for us, and she said she'd make sure we had lots of sprinkles, because the kids love sprinkles! When we went to pick them up on Saturday we had just driven to Cavitt Jr High to discover the annual egg hunt was cancelled. My daughter was so upset, she was completely inconsolable while we tried to explain we'd still get the donuts and her party wasn't cancelled. We went inside and the woman working the register was so kind to her that she completely forgot about the egg hunt. She showed her all the donuts she packed for us, and even gave her a special heart shaped donut. She couldn't stop smiling the whole time we were there. Anyone with a toddler or small child knows how game changing this was, and it helped set the mood for the rest of the day. TLDR. Donuts are awesome. Service is awesome. 100/10“
“THAT DAM PLACE is a fantastic Cafe. Small but impressive. Starting with the waitress, Creta, sorry about the spelling, a most impressive personality. She related her experiences and the history of the Cafe. In discussing the history, I found that an old friend of mine was a partner of the Cafe. We had fun reminiscing and catching up with our current life. Knowing her love of Folsom and its history, I am positive that she will relate the good, bad and probably the ugly. Getting to the Cafe, I ordered the Cali King. Grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon & pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. I choose side tossed salad, which was delicious. My friend tried the Bob Dole Burgah. Grilled 6oz burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and Korean BBQ glazed pineapple slices on a brioche bun. She also got a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked.Sorry, sometimes I forget pictures because of hunger. Next time and there will definitely be a next time.A fantastic combination of food and friendship.“

I was greeted but a young lady, did not catch her name, but she was so sweet. I ordered her recommendation on the mimosa... pineapple coconut and grenadine. So so so good. I ordered a mimosa, country fried steak burrito with no eggs and hashbrowns inside and a coffee. Everything exceeded my expectations. After tipping, it came to about $38. If I'm in the area again, I will most definitely come back.“

The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. TLDR: Fairly good food with a few sour apples, service was strange, lots of events!Our server (who I guess was Magby from the receipt) was interesting to say the least. He was at our table often, but he didn’t seem very friendly / personable. Maybe an off night? Hard to tell.There were Bacardi representatives giving out free shots of their mango Bacardi when the fights began. Hey free alcohol is free alcohol - props to HOM for getting events like that set up.Fries seem like a place that could use some help. Our garlic fries were very soggy, and our friend’s sweet potato fries came out burnt first. Once replaced, the new sweet potato fries weren’t very good at all. The deep fried Oreos were also really bad. Soggy, no crunch and had very little flavor - disappointing as a dessert.Our grilled steak sandwich was the highlight of the night. It was amazing, lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Would recommend 1000/10. “Really cool spot. Inside is a small but open and modern style of wrap-around sports bar, and raised table seating back against the corners and walls. There's also some booths in the back corner by the restrooms. The inside was noisy, but there's an outdoor seating area which was not crowded at all when we went. We could have conversation and a bite to eat, and there was a really good selection of food and drinks. Staff were also pretty friendly and helpful. Great place to try out!“

“Folsom location had great service. Vicky was very attentive and provided excellent customer service! It was obvious that she is a very diligent and a hard worker. Hopefully, her employer appreciates her. My husband had the Brioche French Toast with eggs/potatoes which he fully enjoyed. Unfortunately, we were unable to sustitute the meat portion of the meal with fresh fruit. They only offered potatoes for a sustitute. We were told we would have to pay extra for the fresh fruit. I had the Veggie Omelette. It was fresh and tasty.“
