I've visited Mimosa House a few times now after Saturday morning walks with friends (there are 5 of us). The restaurant is not usually super busy when we get there (a little before 9 a.m.), but the friendly and mostly cheerful wait staff seem to have trouble getting to tables to take and deliver orders, refill coffee, water, etc. The food isn't fancy, but it's generally well-prepared and tasty. Food and service was great. The experience was kind of ruined based on the table location. The edge of our table was maybe 18" from the backs of the chairs at the adjacent table ... and that pathway was the only path to the bathroom. Spent the entire meal leaning hard right as people literally brushed past our table on the way to the restroom. Chairs were moved into that configuration to accommodate a large party, but staff should have known better.

I wish I had taken pictures of the food. They have the best waffles I have had recently!! I just had the plain Belgian waffle but many varieties available. My boyfriend had biscuits and gravy and although I'm not a fan it was delicious! Obviously known for their Mimosas there are so many choices! I had the grapefruit one and then a mint one. Amazing!!
