“I won a gift certificate for a 3-course meal for 2. Went there last night. The food was amazing. Portion sizes were generous but not ridiculously so. Our waiter was attentive without being a pest, and very sweet. He really cared about what we thought of the meal. I had the wild mushroom soup for a first course, and we both had the short rib main course. It tasted delicious and the meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork.

“This place is a true gem! My husband and I have ate here twice now and we have NOT been disappointed. Our first time there he ordered a burger of some sort and I got the grilled chicken sandwhich in a lettuce wrap. Both were absolutely delicious. Our second time around he got the pesto crepe with fries, and I got the Mediterranean crepe with salad. We both agreed that my crepe was better, despite our love of pesto, but both were good. The fries and salad hit the spot as well, mostly because their ranch dressing is fantastic. Prices were definitely reasonable. I look forward to trying other things on the menu. They are the best we have ever had! The flavors are amazing, the ketchup here is to die for, and there is hardly anyone inside, so it's generally on the quiet side.

Biscuits and gravy, eggs, country potatoes with peppers and onions. Try some cinnamon rolls or take and bake them! Yummy! Dated decor is quaint and cringe. All tables, no booths. Sometimes a little slow with coffee refills and you may need to bring your bill up to cash out if you don't want to wait for them to cash you out.“

“The food was amazing. I ordered some tacos de pastor and holy sh*t they were amazing. Their meets are cooked perfectly and they DO NOT charge for toppings. The people are extremely kind and you can tell the cooks know what they are doing. They keep their stations clean!!! That’s hard to find in street food vendors!! Overall I will definitely be coming back ♥️ please try their strawberry aqua Fresca ??“

“We regularly make the 20 minute drive here because they make the best burgers around. They have always been juicy and cooked perfectly. The chicken tenders have also been hot and fresh made every time. And to top it off, the chocolate banana shake is fantastic. The staff has been great every time as well. We'll keep coming back.“

The Farm Bowl was delicious. My 12 year old can be a picky eater so thankfully there was a special of braised beef sliders, which he loved. Happy to recommend it. My son ordered the Wolfman Jack breakfast and asked for french toast instead of the pancakes. He was told they can't do that. He has my had that done on previous visits there? That's poor customer service. I ordered salad as a side. Got it two minutes before the entrees came. More training needed there. Had iced tea. Never was asked for a refill. Other than that the food was good.“

“Land Ocean is a great spot if you’re looking for a solid meal with top-tier service. We had a variety of dishes, and everything we ordered was consistently good.

For appetizers, the crispy calamari, crispy wonton chips with queso, and the mushroom pastry bites were all flavorful and a great way to start the meal. For the main course, the steak and fried seafood combo and the fish and chips were both well-prepared and satisfying.

What really stood out, though, was the staff. They were incredibly nice and attentive throughout our visit, making the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend checking this place out!“

If you love chicken fried steak and gravy, this is the restaurant for you.😋 The breakfast special was chicken fried steak and eggs, you can choose 2 pancakes or 1/2 waffle (I took the waffle, since the name was Country Waffles). The waffle was very good. Not heavy, soggy, or rubbery. The lunch special is a country fried steak and gravy sandwich, finally the dinner special is country fried steak and gravy with mashed potatoes.

If I had a disappointment it was the gravy. It was made with breakfast sausages cut into pieces, not sautéed ground pork. 🤐
