“i’ve been seeing roanie’s all over instagram so i knew i needed to try it out. what a cute little coffee shop roanie’s is! first off, it’s connected to a pet hospital.. coffee AND doggies?! ok, love. when you walk in, it’s absolutely adorable inside. the decor is so cute and love all the plants all over. the service was spectacular; the barista was so kind! tons of parking out front and nearby. they also have outside seating, which is so cute and great to bring your pups! coffee was delicious and will absolutely be back!“

There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it perfect whether you want to relax or get some work done.

Even though they were busy, the staff still greeted me warmly and were incredibly kind. That alone makes a huge difference. The prices are very reasonable, and the food quality is excellent. I had the egg sandwich with a side of avocado and it was fresh, flavorful, and exactly what I needed.

“Excellent breakfast! The bacon is thick and tasty. I ask about raisin bread everywhere’s I go, no one ever has it, this place does! The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

“My wife and I tried this on Saturday for lunch. It's open to the general public which is great. For lunch it was 15.35 per person, all you can eat and drink.

They have a nice clean layout. Salad bar, sandwich bar, soup bar, artisan pizza by the slice, a basic grill station for burgers, etc, an international station, an Asian station, and a dessert station. For drinks they have Pepsi products, also serving Stubborn soda, infused waters, a variety of juices, lemonade and ice tea.

Overall everything we ate was good. We tried all 3 soups (tomato basil, Italian wedding and 3 bean chili). The salad bar while basic was good. The pizza was actually quite good, an excellent crust. They had 3 options; pepperoni, cheese, or sausage and peppers. The Asian station was serving Vietnamese rice (or noodles) bowls the day we went. It was good (choice of white or brown rice or rice noodles) meat options chicken, shrimp, pork, or tofu. They had 5 sauces to choose from (I enjoyed the peanut sauce) and fresh veggies to add in (I picked cucumbers, carrots, cilantro and fresh squeezed lime juice). The international station was serving Greek gyros (didn't try that) and the grill had plenty of people getting burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, fries, etc.

For dessert the soft serve ice cream was good though they could use chocolate as a flavor 🤣 Surprisingly the chocolate chip cookies that looked good were not worth finishing.“

“Great coffee and amazing service, what else can you ask for? They have several locations but this is my go to as it is more lowkey than the others and doesn’t get nearly as packed. Location has lots of parking and is easily accessible. Coffee is also very consistent here for temp and strength.“

“I decided to try this place on a whim instead of my usual starbs run because starbs coffee is honestly low quality but it's convenient.

First off the place is easy to miss! Which is a shame because it is a cute little shop!

Today the shop was a little quiet (I went in about 830a). I honestly wasn't expecting much as most coffee shops are often subpar.

I did not catch the young lady's name who helped me but she was very friendly, when I told her it was my first time in she immediately offered to make a few suggestions if I needed it. I asked her what the favorite food item was, she suggested the Turkey Pesto Sandwich.

I must say it was fabulous! I find that Pesto is very hit or miss. If you are sensitive to spiciness I would just say there is a small hint of spice to the sandwich, which I found to be a pleasant surprise. The Turkey was fresh and the bread was toasted just right, small crunch but easy to bite into.

The place is very small, so there are only a few places to sit. I would bank on taking your coffee/food to go. I can see it feeling a bit crowded if more than a few people are waiting for their items.

I had a Hot Caramel Latte with almond milk, normally I would get nonfat/skim but they were out. Quite frankly, the almond milk added a pleasant nutty flavor to the drink rather than overpowering the drink. You can definitely taste the quality of the beans. I don't know if any of you have ever smelled Starbs espresso beans but I bought some to start making coffee at home and it smells like feet to me which prompted me to start exploring different beans and places. I am so glad I stopped in here and if I'm in the area again I'll be sure to be back!“

“This is a great "hidden" Citrus Heights gem of a cafe! Had their Wednesday special that was a Korean beef dish w/noodles, rice and gyoza for only $7.50. It was amazing and so much that it made two meals for me and my husband! Next day went in for their CA roll Thursday special that I got for my daughter. She loved it. They sell various salads and sandwiches too. I've had their BLT w/avocado twice, but the daily specials are the best. Pastries, fruit/yogurt cups, coffee, teas, etc available. The couple that runs the business is very kind. Located inside the hospital, next to the police department and across the street from Sam's Club.“

First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. Great food, great service, and a great owner who cares about giving back to the community. I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!“

“At first I thought google maps led me astray as I found myself in a Chevron gas station. However, the breakfast burrito is the best I’ve had in a while. A hearty size and fair price. Lots of options and again, a delicious burrito. I’ve gotten so sick of dry boring breakfast burritos but this was delightful. I’ll definitely be back.“
