“If you're looking for a new cafe to try out in Citrus Heights, you have to check out Greenhouse Cafe! This place is fantastic, and I cannot recommend it enough. First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. Overall, if you're looking for a new go-to cafe in Citrus Heights, Greenhouse Cafe is definitely worth checking out. “04/15/2023; 7:10 PM unfortunate experience… I came in to pick up my “to go” order. I stated I was there to get my order, I was asked my last name. I gave my last name, and staff member behind the kitchen counter area picked up my bag, looked in the bag, and said, “I will get you a cup for your tea.” Then, the manager behind the Counter abruptly inserted herself into the conversation by saying, “She said the cup is in the bag!” I said that isn’t what I heard. At this time the staff member handed me the cup. The manager was dismissive and made yet another unnecessary comment as if to make herself relevant. (Not sure why she felt so needy) I walked away and said perhaps a Google review is in order, and she said, “Oh, that’s not necessary, and said “have a nice day” in the most disingenuous tone. While all this was transpiring, she was giggling behind the counter with co-workers like a Junior high school girl. I found the laughter to be rude, and clear that my business was both unappreciated and minimized. This experience was definitely an exception from my typical good experiences. Not sure if it was a slow night and she needed to feel involved in a simple transaction. She should FOCUS on her people skills.“

“Absolutely loved my experience at Sweetea! The drinks were incredibly fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. The boba had the perfect texture, and you can really tell they put care into every drink. “Met a friend here today for coffee and a late breakfast. First ever visit. I must say this is a little gem in a business park in Rancho Cordova. We both had the lavosh roll- perfectly cooked soft boiled egg just slughtly runny, lettuce, tomato, thin sliced cucumber cilantro and feta cheese all rolled in a lavosh. Light, fresh and just enough saltiness from the feta. So delicious. I don't care for burrito breakfast rolls as I don't care for the potato that are usually in them and I find the tortilla too heavy and ever so slightly gummy. The lavosh was lighter and not gummy. I also had a cappuccino which was wonderful and piping hot just the way I like mine. Staff are friendly and helpful. I wish I lived closer so I could come in more often. We will definitely come back. “We came here to grab some quick breakfast and coffee while waiting for our appraisal at CarMax and we were pleasantly surprised. “Excellent breakfast! The bacon is thick and tasty. I ask about raisin bread everywhere’s I go, no one ever has it, this place does! The cinnamon roll was a nice size, not so large to be obscene and had a nice flavor. My husband had the house made sausage patty and biscuit. He said both were quite good, good texture and flavor. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud, and has a nice train rolling around the wall. It was decorated for Easter very tastefully. Our new favorite place!“

The place is adorable, pretty affordable, and clean. The bathrooms were clean and nice. The bread on my sandwich was really good. Great consistency and flavor. We had sandwiches, a cherry tartlet, and a merengue roll. All were delicious. The coffee and tea we had were presented so nicely and tasted very good. “Best kept secret in the Roseville Rocklin area. It's primarily the dining area for the college students. However, it is open to the public. The price is unbelievably reasonable and all the food is fresh the place is clean as hell and they got more variety than a World's Fair. Chefs will cook you up at Denver ommelette as you put all of your ingredients into a bowl and we'll do the same for your pastas and other dishes. Sadly the nice restaurant closes from May 1 to late August. It is not open to the students or the public. Such a nice and huge facility to be closed so long is sad and seems tough on the students.“

“I decided to try this place on a whim instead of my usual starbs run because starbs coffee is honestly low quality but it's convenient.

First off the place is easy to miss! Which is a shame because it is a cute little shop!

Today the shop was a little quiet (I went in about 830a). I honestly wasn't expecting much as most coffee shops are often subpar.

I did not catch the young lady's name who helped me but she was very friendly, when I told her it was my first time in she immediately offered to make a few suggestions if I needed it. I asked her what the favorite food item was, she suggested the Turkey Pesto Sandwich.

I must say it was fabulous! I find that Pesto is very hit or miss. If you are sensitive to spiciness I would just say there is a small hint of spice to the sandwich, which I found to be a pleasant surprise. The Turkey was fresh and the bread was toasted just right, small crunch but easy to bite into.

The place is very small, so there are only a few places to sit. I would bank on taking your coffee/food to go. I can see it feeling a bit crowded if more than a few people are waiting for their items.

I had a Hot Caramel Latte with almond milk, normally I would get nonfat/skim but they were out. Quite frankly, the almond milk added a pleasant nutty flavor to the drink rather than overpowering the drink. You can definitely taste the quality of the beans. I don't know if any of you have ever smelled Starbs espresso beans but I bought some to start making coffee at home and it smells like feet to me which prompted me to start exploring different beans and places. I am so glad I stopped in here and if I'm in the area again I'll be sure to be back!“
