First of all, the banana nut muffin is absolutely delicious. It's the perfect blend of flavors and is moist and fluffy. I would go back just for this muffin alone! But there's so much more to try at Greenhouse Cafe. The menu is full of amazing options, from breakfast items like avocado toast and breakfast sandwiches to salads, sandwiches, and more. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. Beyond the food, I was blown away by the generosity of the owner. I learned that the owner donated a lot of muffins to United Sikhs organization to help feed the homeless. This kind of kindness and generosity is truly admirable, and it only makes me want to support Greenhouse Cafe even more. “This is a great "hidden" Citrus Heights gem of a cafe! Had their Wednesday special that was a Korean beef dish w/noodles, rice and gyoza for only $7.50. It was amazing and so much that it made two meals for me and my husband! Next day went in for their CA roll Thursday special that I got for my daughter. She loved it. They sell various salads and sandwiches too. I've had their BLT w/avocado twice, but the daily specials are the best. Pastries, fruit/yogurt cups, coffee, teas, etc available. The couple that runs the business is very kind. Located inside the hospital, next to the police department and across the street from Sam's Club.“

“04/15/2023; 7:10 PM unfortunate experience… I came in to pick up my “to go” order. I stated I was there to get my order, I was asked my last name. I gave my last name, and staff member behind the kitchen counter area picked up my bag, looked in the bag, and said, “I will get you a cup for your tea.” Then, the manager behind the Counter abruptly inserted herself into the conversation by saying, “She said the cup is in the bag!” I said that isn’t what I heard. At this time the staff member handed me the cup. The manager was dismissive and made yet another unnecessary comment as if to make herself relevant. (Not sure why she felt so needy) I walked away and said perhaps a Google review is in order, and she said, “Oh, that’s not necessary, and said “have a nice day” in the most disingenuous tone. While all this was transpiring, she was giggling behind the counter with co-workers like a Junior high school girl. I found the laughter to be rude, and clear that my business was both unappreciated and minimized. This experience was definitely an exception from my typical good experiences. Not sure if it was a slow night and she needed to feel involved in a simple transaction. She should FOCUS on her people skills.“

“This review is overdue. I have gone many boba places in the Roseville/Rocklin area. Sweetea is the best boba tea place in town. Not a lot of places serve with real milk. Real milk is much better than powder milk. You can get different types of milks, sizes, and many other toppings. They also serve food, not just Boba. You can adjust the amount of sugar and ice. I should have asked for clarifications about the contents of the order because of food restrictions, but when I realized my mistake and found I couldn’t eat what I had ordered, the barista redid my order for free and added an extra bagel. “I was on my way to in-n-out on my skateboard but and run by Fat Dawg and decided to inly get a coffee. The cook was so welcoming so I got closer and god the smell of the food was delicious, and the inside of the truck was so clean that i decided to try the burrito breakfast. The food was cooked fresh!! Which was the first great sign, then got my food in 4 minutes (there wasn’t a line also). From the first bite, I fell in love with this freshly cooked and delicious food. My burrito consisted of scrambled eggs, onions, green pepper, and steak. I am absolutely coming back!“

“This is our first time visiting the Thunder Cafe and we chose wisely. The restaurant was clean . Our server Edward was by far the best of any server we’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable about the menu and sold us on the Prime Rib. “Served Only after 2pm”. We ordered 2 ,10oz & 1,16oz Prime Rib Steaks with Mixed Vegetables& Baked Potatoes. Oh my goodness the steak cut like butter and seasoned well.
We will be back and request Edward.
