“The first time I ordered, some extremely rare error had occurred and my takeout order through a meal delivery app wasn't processed (I've never had an issue ordering since this time and I got a full refund from the meal delivery app). When I got there, they explained the issue and seemed very apologetic. I paid at the register and they got to work on my food. When they handed me the bag with my order, they were super appreciative that I was patient and ordered in-person after the error. And they absolutely LOADED my takeout with extra helpings. It was very sweet. I live on my own and it took me maybe 6 meals to get through my order of one meat dish and one noodle dish.
Since returning, they have always greeted me warmly and the environment is just so peaceful to me. It feels like what I saw takeout places were in the movies as a kid. It sits next to a barber shop with a vintage aesthetic and a liquor store with a polite owner.
When I got back into my car one time, the chef was going on his smoke break and just gave me a sincere nod.
I know a lot of this may seem superficial but it's special in its simplicity. The food is good, the people are sweet, and you should order here and have a simple, quiet night.“

The decor was fun and vibrant. The music was the right touch. This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. “5 stars! For quality of food. Every dish we had tasted delicious. Brought us back to OC places, and better than some of the central Viet dishes in SoCal. From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? But food was very high quality. Friendly service. Can get a little loud inside, looks like it hosts big groups and events, they was a karaoke group in the back.“

“Went there for a dinner for the first time . Wow , balut was so good my husband love them too. We had a hot pot as well and it's really soup warming. A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . “Food truck with good food. I had fish ceviche and a carne asada Taco. Ceviche came in a cup with a couple of tostadas lime wedges and ketchup packets and crackers. Taco was a street taco and grilled onions and radishes on the side. I will be going back.“

I live in vallejo and the nearest poke one for me is in benicia… which cost me $20 all the time.. whenever I am near I always come to this place. this one is a good price and the portion fill me up so much 100% would recommend if you are looking to get filled up. It also has a small convenience store inside, which is a nice bonus. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, I’ve lived in Del Paso Heights for years and only recently discovered it. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. Ordered pork Xiao long bao and pork and chives steamed dumplings. The wrappers are very good, handmade and fresh.
The meat stuffings were not that great to be honest. Both tasted sweet and can't really taste the meat, it's like very fine ground pork. Hoping they will adjust the stuffings.“

“Our server, Brenden was great. The man read our minds, not once but three times throughout dinner. Now that's service! The food was good. I wouldn't say mind-blowing, but, hot, fresh and well made. The prices are high, so I kind of do expect mind-blowing. My steak was tender and perfectly cooked, but maybe needed a little more salt and pepper for my loving. The calamari and lobster mac n cheese were all our favs. The atmosphere is upscale with a casual feel and I love that mix. Overall, a great time was had. We celebrated my son's 18th bday, and his and my nephews graduation and the entire family left with smiles on our faces.“

“First time, will return. The food was very good and plentiful, the prices reasonable for nowadays. The place is cute and clean.

We were a bit hesitant at first as no one else was in the restaurant, it was an odd hour though 2:30. Four other tables filled up before we left.

It was wonderful to get full size egg rolls! So many places are giving you tiny ones or even just halves. Didn't get a pic, but they are full size and very good.

We each had a lunch special, generous helpings and everything was very flavorful. We asked for the egg flower soup instead of the hot and sour due to personal preference and it was really good - even had a bit of chicken in it which you don't usually see. I had the general chicken, chicken chow mein and pork fried rice plate. He had the sweet and sour pork chicken chow mein and pork fried rice plate. Thoroughly enjoyed and we both have leftovers (unusual for him so that tells you the serving was a lot).

Only negative was that they charge $5 for a pot of hot tea. We passed. :(

“This place is a hidden gem! I’ve never ordered a wrong thing here —all of the ingredients are fresh and prepared with care. When you order a chef’s choice selection, they will sometimes include real wasabi (along with the regular paste wasabi that is more common at restaurants). The look of the restaurant, as well as the visual presentation of the dishes, are very pretty and photo-worthy. The A5 Miyazaki Wagyu is phenomenal. The paper hotpot was a unique and imaginative experience —no single bite was ever the same, but constantly evolving. Sometimes we want to just have a simple meal to feed ourself, and other times we are lucky enough to have a delicious meal and take part in a creative process. If you enjoy food and art then give this place a try.“
