The food was flavorful and had that authentic Vietnamese taste I was looking for. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. The place is well decorated, clean, and has a welcoming vibe that makes you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy your meal.

The business owners were also very friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in their restaurant. Great food, lots of options, friendly owners, and a beautiful setup all in one place.

“First time eating here last night. We ordered Gumbo, Garlic noodles, Wings, Tiffany wings, Shrimp basket, Sweet Potato fries and it all turned out to be very delicious. The decor was fun and vibrant. The music was the right touch. This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. Can’t wait to go back to try more food. It was an amazing experience especially because of Richard, for his hospitality! 🤗“

“I can't say enough great things about Octopus Baja! A friend and I had lunch to celebrate her birthday and were very pleased with everything. The food and the drinks were amazing! For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. “Went there for a dinner for the first time . Wow , balut was so good my husband love them too. We had a hot pot as well and it's really soup warming. A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . Hopefully when I come back again with my friends we get same quality . Keep it up!“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Great fish and chips! I tried the basa fish which I’ve never had before. Very Generous portion of three big pieces, you don’t need the large (unless sharing)! Quality fish and breading, a tiny bit salty for my liking. Placed order online and it was hot and ready when I showed up. I wish they offered malt vinegar. Recommend and next time I will try the fried chicken.“

“Wow wow wow!!! The fish and chips here are delicious!!! My husband and I ran in right before closing and the fish was so fresh and the batter was so crispy! My husband grew up in Washington eating fish and chips at Iver’s and he said this is the closest he’s ever had to their fish and chips. The owners are so sweet and hooked up us with a couple extra pieces since they were closing in a few minutes. Tugboat Fish and Chips is becoming a staple in our household!
