I can’t say how refreshing it is to be able to eat clean healthy Asian cuisine. The owner is Bill and I’ve met him twice now. He’s passionate about his restaurants, yes I said restaurants plural. He let me know there’s one in Eldorado Hills and Folsom as well as this one I’m reviewing in Citrus Heights on Sunrise. It’s beautiful, clean, and the food is so very delicious! “First time eating here last night. We ordered Gumbo, Garlic noodles, Wings, Tiffany wings, Shrimp basket, Sweet Potato fries and it all turned out to be very delicious. The decor was fun and vibrant. The music was the right touch. This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. Can’t wait to go back to try more food. It was an amazing experience especially because of Richard, for his hospitality! 🤗“

“I can't say enough great things about Octopus Baja! A friend and I had lunch to celebrate her birthday and were very pleased with everything. The food and the drinks were amazing! Our favorite were the shrimp tacos and grilled octopus. All of the drinks were amazing, especially the coconut ones! The waiter was very attentive and made sure we always had what we needed. “5 stars! For quality of food. Every dish we had tasted delicious. Brought us back to OC places, and better than some of the central Viet dishes in SoCal. From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? But food was very high quality. Friendly service. Can get a little loud inside, looks like it hosts big groups and events, they was a karaoke group in the back.“

“This is best seafood truck on earth, I prefer to eat their seafood over other restaurants and trucks. I try to go once or twice a week since it's right next to work. And I have had seafood that taste like it frozen but this truck has that fresh out the water taste !!“

“Wow wow wow!!! The fish and chips here are delicious!!! My husband and I ran in right before closing and the fish was so fresh and the batter was so crispy! My husband grew up in Washington eating fish and chips at Iver’s and he said this is the closest he’s ever had to their fish and chips. The owners are so sweet and hooked up us with a couple extra pieces since they were closing in a few minutes. Tugboat Fish and Chips is becoming a staple in our household!

“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“I really enjoyed the dumplings from Uncle Dumplings! They were so good and full of flavor. The dumplings were juicy, soft, and literally burst in your mouth with every bite. 😋🥟 You can really taste that they’re freshly made, and I enjoyed every bite.

“Went there for a dinner for the first time . Wow , balut was so good my husband love them too. We had a hot pot as well and it's really soup warming. A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . Hopefully when I come back again with my friends we get same quality . Keep it up!“

“We are definitely a loyal customers here. We at least check in here once a month. We love all kinds of soup bases for your mix of cooking your own veggies, seafood, meats, seasoning etc. Love the conveyors that goes around while you are seating and just picking up your choices out of the conveyors. Weekdays are the best to go because weekends gets crowded with wait time.“

“This place gets 5 stars for service alone. The folks here are very friendly and get your food out hot and fast. The fella at the counter was very patient with me when explaining the menu and another worker checked in on me frequently after my tray was served. They have great options to mix and match fried fish and chicken, with a long list of sides to add on as desired.

Ray’s offers a big selection of desserts consisting of a variety of sliced cakes and pies. They also offer homemade sauces, homemade drinks like lemonades and milkshakes, and large party platters. Bottled/canned drinks and ice cream are available in separate fridges/freezer.

I ordered the two piece fried snapper with a side of collard greens and a side of red beans and rice. Food came out quickly and very hot. The fish and fries were crispy and salty and paired well with the tarter sauce. Both sides came with generous amounts of turkey necks; they didn’t skimp on the meat.“

“Stopped by Tugboat Fish & Chips and everything was sooo good. The fish was fresh, crispy, and perfectly cooked. The fries were top tier, the coleslaw was super fresh and crunchy, and the prawns were honestly to die for. You can tell the food is made fresh and with care. Definitely coming back!“

“Food truck with good food. I had fish ceviche and a carne asada Taco. Ceviche came in a cup with a couple of tostadas lime wedges and ketchup packets and crackers. Taco was a street taco and grilled onions and radishes on the side. I will be going back.“

“We love this place. Much attention is given to presentation and the food is excellent. This time we tried the Black Cod Steak. Cooked perfectly in a lovely sauce on top of asparagus.
Their starters are also very good. In addition to the Sonomono we tried the breaded fried Oysters that came with a creamy crab dipping sauce. Again, excellent. If you are adventurous or just love trying new tasty foods you will love this place. It is small and you will want to get there early, if you don’t want to wait.“

“I'm always scared to try new places. The reviews were good so I decided to give them a try. Worth the 5 stars. W all had different plates and my kids said theirs were really good. They give a lot of food. I'll definitely have this on my list of to go places.“

“Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Just finished dinner. Had salmon with asparagus and roasted potato. It was excellent. The service couldn't t have been better as my water glass was never empty. refilled 3 or 4 times. Would definitely recommend.“

“Delicious, fresh, hot chicken with tasty sides to match. The place is clean, the customer service is excellent, and there’s a bit of indoor seating available. It also has a small convenience store inside, which is a nice bonus. It’s easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, I’ve lived in Del Paso Heights for years and only recently discovered it. It’s right across from Grocery Outlet, and a great perk is that you can use your food card to buy Krispy Krunchy Chicken here.“
