“We really enjoyed ourselves at Rudy's Hideaway. Food was delicious! We shared an appetizer, fried calamari. For our entrée: *8oz lobster tail, baked potato and green beans *Surf and Turf, which included prime rib, king crab leg, baked potato and green beans. We ended our meal having cheesecake with raspberry sauce and creme brulee. Our sever was attentive and polite. He went above and beyond to make our experience a pleasure. The atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We will definitely be back...highly recommend!“

“My husband and I LOVE coming here and bringing our friends and family. We’ve loved everything we’ve ordered here and haven’t had a single bad dish.

Their surf and turf tacos and pina nieto tacos are easily our favorites. Their salsa bar is expansive and has so many more options than a lot of the other restaurants we frequent. I especially love their jalapeño crema salsa and pickled onions.

There’s tons of seating and it is so clean inside. Even better, they’re so quick to get you food and the customer service is on point. They are constantly watching the salsa bar to make sure everything is topped off and I have yet to see spills anywhere on the counter.

This location used to be Rubio’s and I was so sad when they closed. But this place has easily won us over. I can’t wait to see Taqueria La Perla Tapatia continue to thrive and get the recognition it deserves.“

“GREAT fish and chips, don't judge a book by its cover. A handful of 4-person booths inside to enjoy your meal at; tables are clean and nowhere near as sticky as other fry shops I've been to.

Very reasonably priced and the pieces of fish are HUGE (like 9 inches of cod each). Family sized dinners are a good value--we got the 6-piece Rowboat--and they have Mug root beer in the fountain! (Pepsi products) The hushpuppies had good flavor and were not soggy or chewy. Fried oysters were huge and also good.

The house white sauce is more garlic cream than tartar sauce. There was a very tomato-forward slightly chunky spicy mock cocktail sauce that was also pleasant. Coleslaw was just shredded cabbage with some light creamy dressing, which was enough to offset the fried everything.

Overall one of my favorite stops on this side of town!“

This place has been here for 11 years, it’s located right after the corner gas station Mack Rd and Stockton Blvd. We’ve overlooked it for some time and we were pleased with our visit. “Gift card scam. Mikunis implemented a new protocol in 2022. Any gift cards that were purchased before a certain (unknown) date, and now utilized, will be zeroed out. Back story: I attempted to use a gift card today (April 2023) and was informed it had a zero balance. The server kept my card. I had a gut feeling, asked for the card back. I spoke to the manager about how I could have a zero balance when I had never used it. The manager informed me that corporate zeroed out all gift cards that weren’t used. In order for me to get my money on the gift card, I have to call corporate headquarters and “request” an inquiry; which I did to no avail. It’s not about “expired” gift cards. It’s about not informing consumers ahead of a new rule that gift cards be zeroed out before a certain date. I’ve used 10 year old gift cards at other restaurants without any problem. Biggest scam ever.“

“Went there for a dinner for the first time . Wow , balut was so good my husband love them too. We had a hot pot as well and it's really soup warming. A dozen of yummy oysters and the bomb is the stir fry clams in garlic flavor we ordered it again because it was real fresh and good . I don't regret paying a lot of this is the food serve , very delicious I was just worried because I eat a lot 🤣🤣. Costumer service was exceptional . Quality fish and breading, a tiny bit salty for my liking. Placed order online and it was hot and ready when I showed up. I wish they offered malt vinegar. “Wow wow wow!!! The fish and chips here are delicious!!! My husband and I ran in right before closing and the fish was so fresh and the batter was so crispy! My husband grew up in Washington eating fish and chips at Iver’s and he said this is the closest he’s ever had to their fish and chips. The owners are so sweet and hooked up us with a couple extra pieces since they were closing in a few minutes. Tugboat Fish and Chips is becoming a staple in our household!

“Amazing food! We got the shushi box, unagi don (the chawanmushi is really good), and two handrails. Salmon skin roll is crunchy and delicious. All the sashimi is very fresh, but my favorite was defined the toro. Would recommend, and price point is reasonable.“
