Mikuni serves great and incredible food, with some of the best food that diners have ever had. The sushi is good, with big rolls and lots of sauces. Specific highlights include the delicious Seafood Symphony, the excellent pan fried Gyoza, and the delicious hamachi aburi nigiri with fresh, high-quality fish. The bento box is okay and the tempura is good. Appetizers are really good, though an oversight like serving edamame refrigerator-cold was disappointing. The Lychee Cocktail is a standout, coming with a little flower button that tingles the mouth. Staff are friendly, and service experiences vary; sometimes servers are very attentive and make the experience pleasant, while at other times service can be slow with forgotten items. The restaurant is often very busy.
