“It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal.One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. The legendary California taco is ground beef, American cheese wrapped in a corn tortilla, that is grilled and dusted and Parmesan cheese. Then topped with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. It's a cheesy, greasy taste of heaven. Jimboy's only uses fresh ingredients in everything is made from scratch. They take pride in their unique tacos and home style cooking. This isn't a great date spot, but it is a great place to get your taco fix. They do have an off the menu item, it's called The Gypsy taco. It's extra meat, extra cheese with no lettuce. “This is the ONLY Mexican food restaurant in the area that matters. It is the closest to ✨authentic✨ in the area… (I’m in Roseville closer to the granite bay side.) The Flautas are usually my go to at any Mexican place and the ones here are perfection. Even the beans and rice are good. Tortas, are bomb. The asada is good, too. But my favorite thing to get here are the breakfast burritos. I will try more to add on to this review but after moving here early 2023, this is the only Mexican place I go to that is worth a damn.“

“This is THE spot for a good Mexican breakfast! The only place I devour the chilaquiles. The chips are light and crispy and the salsa is on point the right amount of kick. My partner orders menudo from this place and is satisfied.

The place is tiny inside, but the best places are. The chairs are my favorite with different images. There are benches and tables in front, but the street is right next to you so be warned. The music is traditional and the TV always has music or soccer games on.

Cashiers are friendly enough. You do clean up after yourself.

In a panic, I scrambled to find a place that was still open and could accommodate a last-minute order. This restaurant not only answered their phone after hours but also had my food ready by 11 AM the next morning. The service was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. As small as it is, it’s hard to find authentic food like this in restaurants. If you are Passing by the area I recommend this place over the surrounding restaurants for good food. “We love this place. Found it during covid and we rarely go to other places. Is it the most authentic, no. I think for where we live it’s pretty decent. I only get two things here, they are my tried and true. Firstly the chicken is where it is at. I’m sorry if you like the pork or beef, don’t come here for that, it’s ok, but the pollo asada is the best. I get the dinner plate and the nachos. But I add beans to the nachos. Their horchata is also super yummy. Everyone we introduce it to likes it. We’ve never tried anything bad there but only get lunch or dinner items. The chips at the chip bar are really the worst thing there, husband and I don’t understand why the chips they use in the nachos are not the same at the chip bar. lol. I asked once because everyone is super friendly! And they said they use yellow tortilla chips at the bar and white tortilla chips in the nachos. It makes a difference people. One of the cashiers even helped me to my car with my drinks and food while I carried my baby car seat. We come several times a month and have not once ever seen bugs or rodents as one reviewer said. The place is always clean and bright. It has gone up in price as has everything and that is my only objection to going more often honestly. Price increase for a lot of places makes it a little less worth going.“

“Great place and the great location. The food is good not fantastic but for a quick lunch it's a perfect place. Outdoor seating has a relaxed atmosphere and we really enjoyed sitting there. There are options under $10 but count on spending more like $15. They have a well-stocked salsa bar but chips cost extra. There are vegetarian options as well.“

“Plain and simple Jimboy's makes some of tastiest tacos in town. Nothing fancy just some damn good tacos. I always get a two 6 packs (see pictures) of beef tacos because 6 is never enough. Their tacquitos (beef or chicken) are also pretty tasty. Either way you won't lose out unless you're that 1 in a 100 that doesn't like tasty Jimboy's tacos!!! One thing you might want to try is the Tahoe burrito with carnitas. Very tasty too!“

“It's the usual quality of a decent Taco Bell: orders are 90% of the time correct but they're always fast to fix the order if there is an issue, same TBell taste you can expect from their tacos and burritos, service is fast, and given the massive inflation of ever fast food service, their prices can still feed two to stuffed for under $30.
